He helped me get it emailed to the store and print it. It was in a poly bag, but awkward and the label wouldn't apply well. He grabbed a used amazon box from the ground that was left by someone and put it in real quick for the label be properly affixed, efficient, and faster to get to the next customer after me. Shannon took it upon herself to chastise Jackson in front of me saying "Where'd that box come from? Did you give him that? Jackson responded yes. Shannon said "we don't do that! And don't do that again!" As a manager, I'd keep Jackson and train Shannon if she's a trainer. Rules/policies are great, for when they support efficiency, speed, good order/discipline and ensure customer satisfaction. Jackson critically thought on his feet and maintained efficiency, speed, accomplishing the job well, and getting onto the next customer. Shannon, learn to ask other employees "why" they do what they do instead of assuming the worst from the get go, and provide correction away from the customer's face if the "why" isn't valid or justifying breaking a policy. Discipline to policy is great, but not when it's at the expense of the company or customer's.

For some stupid reason it takes four days to get from Boise to Kuna. So according to my tracking system provided by UPS, for some reason it goes to Nampa then delivered to Kuna. Oh wait UPS turns it over to the local post office for delivery. Oh but if they don't get it to the Kuna post office before they all load up for their routes it sits another day. In conclusion who ever is running the UPS system in the valley needs to be educated on good service. You still can't convince me it takes four days in the valley to deliver a 1 lb package. Not only did the owner not say anything to me about it being closing time, but they said nothing to the young lady who just assumed she would be helped since the door was open. They were helping her also when I walked out. I was mailing one package postage prepaid and buying postage for the 2nd package. Despite it being after closing, she asked if I wanted a tracking receipt for the postage prepaid package as well, unsolicited. This kind of customer service is what I love about small businesses and entrepreneurs. I was delighted by their complete customer service and friendliness. I will be back whenever possible. I haven't had to actually go in and physically had to speak to someone yet so I can't speak on the customer service here. The place is always clean and so is the parking lot. It's obviously the same standard price for shipping as any post office but I did notice the one downtown will charge an additional fee for a birthday card to be self scanned and didn't like that. So on top of my postage I had to pay an additional fee at the downtown location.

I needed to get my taxes copied in a hurry today. Stopped into FedEx Office to get my task done. I…read morewasn't sure if they were open. It was about 5:30 p.m. when I got there. Online it said they were open till 7. The store looked so dark and the open sign wasn't on. But I walked up to the door to see if maybe they closed early. I was happy to know they were open! I was instantly greeted by a sweet employee behind the counter. He asked me what he could do for me. I told him I needed copies made. I pointed to the copy machines and told me to take my time. I thought that was really nice of him. I got my debit card squared away on the machine and purchased 10 dollars worth of copies. I didn't quite know how to work the copier so I asked the nice gentleman for help. He came over, guided me and helped me with my first set of tax papers. He also informed me about the paper clips, staple and other office supplies that were available for me if I needed them. I worked my way down to the last 2 stacks of taxes, got them paper clipped and into my trusty manilla envelope. It was a lot faster than I imagined, getting my task completed. It was great having everything I needed all in one area. I thanked the nice man for his help and made my way out of the door. I appreciate this employee's kindness and patience. He was great and my work area was perfect!
