I think I've written maybe three negative reviews in my life, but this place warrants one. When I came I checked the other negative reviews and they echo what my sentiment is. The owner of the store needs to reconsider the employees. I've lived in the area for 2 years and I will go out of my way to go to another less convenience store to not deal with the employees. The environment is tense. Just because there is a long line does not mean you can be short with people. Multiple times I've been told to step aside and get out of the line because I don't have my QR code ready for an Amazon return, the phone has literally been in my pocket and I have been in the process of taking it out, or in the process of opening the screenshot of the barcode with my phone unlocked and in front of them! As someone else said, it seems people are tense, maybe they're overwhelmed because it's busy? I don't know but it's not relevant. Since I've seen complaints about staff in other reviews, it seems perhaps there need to be changes or reprimands. It is so unnecessary to have a negative experience just trying to drop off a package when you're going about your day. read more

I liked this location for quite awhile, but they have become less helpful and are charging a super premium that smacks of a rip-off. Yes, you can drop off US mail at no charge, but if you need to weigh an envelop or package, you are far, far better off making the drive to a USPS location. An envelop requiring $.60 at the post office will cost you $1.60 or $1.90 at this UPS Store location. It is soooo convenient to Sun City Carolina Lakes, that a lot of those seniors innocently take advantage of that convenience. Only later in conversations do they realize that they DID have to pay much more there than at the post office. The Store does offer a full menu of services, to include mail boxes and super large printing and posters. And for bound reports they can do it all. Make sure you bring your wallet, that you already refilled at the ATM. You will need it. read more

I am here to post a wonderful review about the staff at the Carolina Commons Indian Land location. Tonight my son was making an Amazon return on my behalf and he grabbed the wrong package to return. When I realized this shortly after he left , I quickly sent him back because it was my daughter's cap and gown for her upcoming graduation from Winthrop University. When I called they recalled the package however it was already on the truck and there was not much time before the store closed. Because this item did not have a return label and yet a scanned barcode from Amazon there would be no way to track which Warehouse it would be going to. After panicking, a few minutes later the owner called to tell me they found it and if we could come and quickly swap it out with the correct package we can get it within 10 minutes . This extra above and beyond step they took has made a great impact on our lives as this was for a big occasion . Too many people post negative reviews about companies and not enough positive so I wanted to share my experience and once again thank the team at that location for caring enough to go the extra mile. read more

Entered the store to drop off a package. Daniel was engaged in a task but immediately stopped what he was doing to help me. Daniel is definitely someone who can multitask. Polite and efficient I was done in minutes. And then I saw Daniel go on to other tasks. Definitely a worker bee. I asked to speak to the manager. A very kind woman named Heta came out. I complimented Daniels work ethics to her. I also mentioned that a few weeks ago I was going to drop a letter off in their USPS box. The door was locked and I realized they were closed. As I turned to walk away a nice man inside opened the door and took my letter. Turns out that was Heta's husband. When people take pride in the job they do It shows! I was very impressed because unfortunately you don't see this very often. Well done everyone! read more

Quick and friendly service! I received a gift from my mom and needed to return the items to amazon. The instructions required me to return the items at a UPS drop off location. We arrived approximately 1:30pm on Saturday and the store was moderately busy. There were a few people being helped and I was greeted upon walking into the store. The associate who helped me was very pleasant and patient. I was a little unsure of what documents went with which boxes but she patiently asked me questions to see what I was doing. The transaction was quick and simple. I have had previous experience at another location that was not favorable and was not looking forward to going into another location. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not run into any problems. I also like the fact that this location stays open until 4:00 pm on Saturday. Plan to return as needed for shipping needs. read more

Slowest UPS store I've ever been to and I've lived unfortunately in some rather slow places. 1 person to manage the line during rush hour. Slowest person working. Spent so much time explaining how "because of COVID" UPS guarantees nothing. 11 months after COVID started this private for profit company has no action plan other than to give excuses. Awful. Parking is tiny here too and the spaces are too close to each other. Everything about this experience was dreadful. read more

Sketchy. Somehow Amazon returns always seem to get "lost" at this location. Luckily Amazon is always willing to work with you and still issue a refund. Twice now I've been stupid enough to use this location out of convenience and twice I've been full of regret. Not to mention they literally REFUSE to give you a receipt for packages dropped off. Laughable. They tried to say they don't do that, then when I said other UPS stores always fine receipts they said the other stores must be doing it wrong. Idiots. Still waiting on multiple packages to be returned so I can get a refund... Likely won't happen since this store is clearly doing something sketchy. There is no physical post office in Indian Land. The closest is in Waxhaw about 25 minutes away. We rely heavily on the UPS store which is both USPS and UPS. The team is very nice and helpful. The service is excellent read more

I went to store 6092 located at 6277 Carolina Commons Dr. ste. 600 located in Indian Land, SC 29707 on 2/14/24 to pick up a package. The package had a pickup code but the employee said they needed a tracking number. I show the employee three emails with the ups info and pick up code and he told me in a rude manner that he was not going to give me the package unless I had a tracking number. I told him there is a pickup code. I gave him my driver license to identify me and he said no. For a half hour I have been tried to get my package and the employee is rude and humilating me like I am trying to steal a package. Customers started speaking against me like I was trying to pick up someone's else's package. I am humiliated and embarrassed and feeling discriminated against now with all of these people ganging up on me. I asked for the manager he was not in. I asked the employee to call him this is not right you have my name address pickup code and it matches what is on the front of the package. He said no then called the manager and made it sound like I was trying to steal a package. I said let me speak to the manager. I read the email to the manager and told him my information matches exactly what is on the package. The manager said we will give you the package this time. When the employee brought me the package he threw it on the counter and walked away. On the front of the package in bold letters was my name the pick-up code from my email and my address. The employee did not apologize or acknowledge that he was wrong. I felt terrible and was very stressed out after this ordeal of being humiliated. Went into The UPS Store today to get a couple of documents printed from my photos. Price was great but the woman originally waiting on us was not very helpful and really lacked customer service skills. She seemed to rushed to answer a quick "how to" question about our order even though we were the only customers in the store. Thank goodness a young man can out and I then went over to him to ask the same question he was so happy to spend the 30 seconds needed to help us. They need more employees like him. read more

Consistently rude and abrupt counter service. The convenient location drives a lot of business but every single staff member over the past year has been not helpful, rushed, and abrupt. I dread going here and will drive 5 miles out of my way if I can possibly make that work. Easily one of the most raggity operations I've ever seen. Upon walking up to this location I literally saw a Indian female employee out in the parking lot standing behind a customers car trying to prevent them from leaving. She the proceeded to open the passengers door as they were driving away. I don't have any context to this situation other than that but regardless, under no circumstances should you ever treat a customer that way. Period. I went inside and was waiting in line and when that lady that was blocking the car came back to "help" the next person in line only to over hear she had some random issue with notorizing the next person's document. I don't know why they even advertise these services if they are just going to deny it to the customer and cause them trouble. Absolutely horrible. Then it comes to me. I am up next. I get up there and they give me crap about the way my box is packed. I said, is it out of regulation? Did I do something wrong? The answer is no. I did everything correct, but they just wanted to give me crap for the way I packed it. Ok, whatever. Moving on. We get to the point of weighing it and all that and they asks what's in there. I told him a bottle of vinegar wine and that's when he said he can't ship it. I told them it was alcohol free and they say they still can't ship it. I said ok, it's a gift. They say, nope. Not going to ship it. Piss poor customer service if you can even remotely label it that. Bottom line is who ever is running this circus has some turds in their punch bowl. Horrible people here. So now I am going down the road to another post office that actually wants to stay in business and retain their customers. Because just in the 5 minutes I was there, I saw 3 customers they clearly lost. Congrats. read more

I suggest you check your facts before making false accusations. If this is how you do business it is no wonder people are leaving negative feedback. I have not created a false account. If I was trying to leave fake reviews I wouldn't use my real picture, my real name, or any other identifying qualities. Please grow up. As for trying to speak with me, your employee refused to give me any identifying information other than telling me she would tell you that I called. I, like you, am a business and am not always available by phone. I received one voice message from you; unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to set time aside to speak with you ( I highly doubt you would appreciate me calling you after 10:00 PM, which is when I had concluded my business for that day.) If you were truly trying to speak with me, I believe you would have tried to contact me more than once, and perhaps would have left me a second voice message with your contact information -- not just a voice message stated you were returning my call. These guys are great. Friendly, very helpful and understanding. Some of the finest customer service I have seen. UPS made some mistakes in delivery and the owners of this store made sure that the mistakes were corrected and that my packages were delivered. Without their help, who knows what would have happened. I don't know why people steal. I dropped off a package, received a receipt and my package never left the UPS store. Which leads me to believe that they stole it. I guess they figured since it was a return item, that the company would have the insurance pay for it. Again, the package never left the store according to my receipt. read more

My wife and I went to get some documents notarized that our bank required and emailed to us. The Owner lied and said she was required by law to examine our actual detailed Trust documents with all of the details of the Trust before she could notarize the documents. This was a lie because my wife and I only operate in Trust for years. I believe she was racially profiling us, my next step is to make a complaint on the State level and to UPS corporate. I will not rest until this place is exposed. BTW, I asked her to show me the rule she was referring to and she could not show it. I knew she couldn't show it because the rule doesn't exist. The documents that the bank needed was a simple trust certification, that they emailed for us to get notarized. Trust documents are very private and no one is allowed to examine your Trust Documents except your Lawyer or by judicial order, not some UPS store clerk. (My response) That's a lie, the document was from our Merrill lynch account and not incomplete. I've had these documents notarize by the courts, banks and other authorized notaries. What you are saying is BS. You were better off not responding because your statements are false. Those statement will be used in my lawsuit against your store. BTW I just filed my trust certification in the county records and not once did anyone ask me to prove I was the Trustee and never in the my history of doing Trust. You need to re-educate your staff. Also we went to the next notary no problems at all. Your location needs training. Your job as a Notary is to verify that the person named on the documents are the same signing. You're not a investigator of verifying who the Trustee is on a Trust. My bank already did there due signee insurance that as they should. I was actually going to let this go, but I'm glad you responded because now all the evidence is on the table. Lastly in order to see who the Trustee on a Trust you would need to see the whole Trust there is no way around that. Clearly you know absolutely nothing about Trust. read more

I went to the UPS store to make 130 copies. I sent the item to their computer system, and the girl printed out all 130 copies WITHOUT first printing a proof to show me to ensure that it was correct! All 130 copies was not done properly due to their computer glitch yet they made me pay the full amount for those copies! They are completely unusable. I requested the owner To call me and I have yet to receive a call from him. read more

Left off a piece of mail for PO pick up on a Monday. By Saturday the mail had not reached its destination. Fort Mill PO mailman delivers mail all over the place...we wind up running to neighbors exchanging mail. Call the FMPO and they aren't interested. Today I got someone persvription meds. I finally got a supervisor who was at least mad enough to want to get to the bottom of it. Amazon Prime two day means nothing in SC. read more
