Furthermore, the staff was curt and unfriendly and rude about the discrepancy in what is advertised and what is true related to DHL pick up/drop off. Truly the worst customer service I have received. Worse than USPS. I was picking up a package and they said that they didn't have it when it was there the entire time. I went to this business to inquire about getting a fingerprint done. I politely waited in line even when I was not sure they were even able to do my fingerprint. When I got to the front of the line the woman working there asked what I needed and when I told her I was asking about fingerprinting she promptly cut me off and told me dismissively I needed an appointment. I tried to show her the fingerprint I required for grad school and tried to ask if they were even able to do these (because why would I make an appointment if they couldn't) and she again quite rudely replied "you need an appointment". I stumbled upon this place yesterday for some Christmas gifts that had to be sent out. I love nothing more than supporting the local guys however prices seemed a little steep for shipping. But then again, I haven't shipped anything in ages and when I did it was via USPS. They offer UPS, Fed Ex (both give tracking #'s) and USPS. You can bring your items there and they will securely pack for you or bring the box o' goodies in and they will send it on its merry way. Friendly staff, varied selection of cards (and mini cards-too cute) and decorative boxes on hand. Bonus was that I was in and out within 10 minutes plus it's in the HT shopping center so I could send stuff out, get groceries then grab a drink at Dilworth Coffee. Kill three birds with one stone? Don't mind if I do. Even though the prices were higher than expected, I will visit again. read more

I stopped in to verify I could drop off a pre-paid UPS package. The woman behind the counter didn't even look up at me when I walked in the door even though she was standing facing me and I was the only person in the store. She seemed annoyed by my question and curtly told me if the package had a label I could leave it. So I went back to my car, got the package (which measures 9"x9" (so not oversized) and as I walked back inside she said "We can't accept that here. You'll have to take that to the UPS Store!" This was literally 60 seconds after she told me I could ship it from there. I'm not as annoyed about the misinformation as I was her tone of voice and poor customer service. And I should add--she never even asked me what was on the box. The reply from the business says they don't accept colonoscopy parcels??? That's not what I had. I just assumed I couldn't send it because I wasn't using one of their brown boxes. Regardless, the interaction was unpleasant. read more

I have shipped from here several times and spent probably $250 total over the last 10 months since I have lived in the area. Not spending a dime more after the the rudeness I experienced from the woman behind the counter who clearly was perturbed from the moment I walked inside the store. Not only did she offer no advice for my package, she THREW the package on the ground after I gave it to her. It had $300 in electronics inside and she treated it like a sack of potatoes! And to come on here to see the managers/owners blaming the customers and biting back at them just confirms that the problem with this company begins at the top. I went for a fingerprint appointment. My appointment was for 4:00 I showed up at 4:07. There was a line, and by the time I got to the counter it was 4:10. The lady behind the counter said that she canceled the appointment because they have a 10 min late cancellation policy. I apologized for being late and asked her because there was no one else in the store if she can still take me. She never looked up at me, and said no, and when I asked if I can rescheduled for another time, she said no, again not looking up. The woman who was working this morning when I went in was extremely rude to me for no reason. Originally telling me I need to leave as businesses are not allowed to use their shipping center, I let her know it was all personal no business and she gave a big sigh. I waited patiently while she finished helping the person in front of me and when it was my turn I asked her if she would be able to tape my packages shut for me and she said I could but I'd have to charge you, I let her know that would be okay and she again gives a huge sigh before barely taping 1 piece of tape on my boxes and literally throwing them into a pile. Now I know the post services might not take the best care of packages but you would think at a local packing store she would've at least waiting until I had left befor she started throwing my items around. The lady that works here (I believe the owner) is so extremely rude. I came in with an Amazon box not taped and before I could get to the counter she exclaimed "you have to come in with the box taped shut". I replied letting her know I can buy her tape and that she is very rude each time I come in and if she would have let me speak there is a reason it was open due to a question I had. Maybe there is a reason it needs to be taped upon arrival and she could have educated me rather than be rude. Interestingly enough another customer came in with all kids of items to ship, no box, no tape and it seemed to be quite alright...for her obvious friend (even stating "I didn't see that item go in the box"). read more

The owner is just rude. I've talked to her about it and thought that the discussion went well, but her behavior is the same. She seems angry most of the time. If you drop off a package that is labeled already for free shipping, she acts really pissed off. She'll be passive aggressive with you, making you wait for a long time for her to scan it in two seconds as though to punish you for her not making any money off the transaction. I asked her once if it bothered her for customers to drop off packages and she told me that she didn't make any money off that. If I go in and she's on the computer or the phone, she won't acknowledge me at all and seems to take her sweet time getting off the phone or computer. Now, they don't offer gift wrapping and she said she didn't know who did. I'll have to drive a little further, but honestly, I am tired of supporting a business that treats me this way. read more

I've had a very similar experience to many others that have left reviews. I goto this location because it is convenient. I've had interactions with a couple different employees - all were pleasant except a lady who I came to find out is the owner. She was incredibly rude every single time I came in - never greeted me upon entering, did not address my presence while I waited, and always waited until it was convenient to her to "help"...and when she did, it was always with limited interaction, not to mention she THROWS every single package I've ever dropped off into a pile of other packages. Not only that, but she expects you to respond to her after such treatment. Something needs to be done because no customer deserves the kind of disrespect she shows every visit. read more

I like the convenient location and the ability to do multiple things in one place. I can park and do my mailing , grocery shopping and grab a coffee next door . I also like their hours. Dilworth packaging has cards and packaging materials so I can mail anything quickly.
