Just visited this morning to ship an Apple Watch. I had my own packaging and asked for advice if the packaging was enough, was advised they could package it better for me. I looked at my receipt upon leaving, and they charged me almost as much for the packing ($13) as for shipping ($16). It is my fault for not asking and not looking at my receipt earlier, but I will not use this UPS store again. I was also asked twice if I would like insurance. Again, I should've scrutinized more, but I feel like I was taking advantage of, and the upselling was a bit ridiculous. read more

Helpful staff along with a tidy and organized store. I've only visited a handful of times, but each time had a different purpose. The first time I was just dropping off a package (I had already printed the label from home) so it was easy and the staffers were eager and willing to help process the package and give me a tracking receipt. The next couple of times involved me coming with various packages in different levels of readiness. I purchased some packing tape and they actually helped me get the roll started (I have no nails). The store location is convenient to a ton of other businesses so you can knock out errands in one shopping complex. The parking lot does tend to be busy, so just be careful to your fellow humans/cars trying to go about the day. read more

I really just had to laugh. I came in with my box and item with my label to make a return. The supplier provided the box to return. I asked "do you have a piece of tape for the box they gave me?" The owner said yes and pointed to the side wall. I looked over and it was the retail for sale items and tape rolls on the wall. I thought he didn't understand what I had asked for so I just made sure to clarify. "I just need a piece of tape for the end of this box. I am afraid the one the supplier provided won't be strong enough." Again the owner said yes we have those over there, again pointed at the $5 and up tape rolls. So I just wanted to make sure...and said "so I have a supplier paid return I just want to drop off, and I need just an additional piece of tape. However you don't' have one I could use but yet I can buy a whole roll from you for a 4" piece of tape?" He says yes. Seems their policy is if you bring your own box then no tape. If I was to give to them the item and return label - they would box up and use their own tape and send on its way. Then, yes I did, gave them the item and return label and said no problem here you go. However, he noted "you already have the box so we cannot use our box and pack up for you." So, yeah, I had to laugh. You can't fix greed folks. Or customer service, or logic. read more

The staff is always helpful and friendly. Well laid out Store and relatively clean. Prices to ship are more than USPS (but so is FedEx) but they always have everything I need, and much shorter lines! They have limited parking right in front of the store but there is plenty more a few steps away. read more

I stopped into this UPS store to get some double-sided prints made that I needed in a hurry. They charge .40 per side for color print which I thought was sort of pricey. However, the employees were friendly and helpful,so I went ahead and used their service. This may not be the least expensive option for your printing needs, but the convenience was worth it for me. I have used this store for years and each time I have been here in the last year I have been more and more disappointed. I tried to ship something back. In the past, if I needed a little extra padding they would help me stuff it with extra papers they had laying around. The most recent time, I was told it would cost me. For the trash that had obviously been discarded. This most recent visit was to ship something back to Amazon. I've always been able to have them scan the barcode or email and print the label. They're now charging for this. Which I can understand but the price I was quoted was exorbitant. I won't be back to this location. read more

While there is another UPS location closer to my neighborhood, I still choose this location due to the excellent customer service. Everyone I have met who works here is very friendly, knowledgeable and goes above & beyond to help expedite my shipping needs. I have not found a better UPS location in Charlotte than this one. read more

Is it my favorite place to go? No. Would I rather go here than the USPS up the street? ALL DAY EVERY DAY FOREVER. I like them. Basically, UPS provides mailing services for dummies. Could you do everything here on your own? Probably. You can figure out how to print a sheet of paper or stick something in the mail, you know plenty of other places to buy packaging tape. I come here for the convenience of walking in, slapping a few pieces of paper on the counter and asking for them to be mailed. I came in here the other day to mail in my application to renew my passport. I could have easily done this at the Post Office. However, I didn't feel like it - and they're rude down the street. So I came here. Put my papers on the counter and the gentleman behind the desk asked me for each required piece, put them in an envelope and stapled my picture to the application. Its easy. I even came in here once with a box of Oreos that I wanted to ship to England. Put them on the counter, and they took care of me. It cost a ridiculous amount of money - but it was easy to do. (and my American friend that married a Brit was THRILLED. Worth it.) The staff isn't always super friendly, but have patience, because I'm sure they have plenty of people who do not have patience. read more

Has anyone paid $2.47 for printing 2 sheets? Well I did at this store! I had a USB device and wanted to print a document. The guy tells that the USB ports on the printers have not been activated and I have to use the computer. He takes the USB device from me and sticks it into the PC and tells me where the doc would print. Then he charges me $2.47 because I used the computer, which he says most people only use to check email, etc. He refused to accept the fact that he knew that I only wanted to print a document. To top it off the store manager was extremely rude. Never again will I step foot in this store. read more
