I was there with my daughter on 6/8. The store had a long line of folks dropping off packages (per usual). That is a very busy store and while it can be frustrating for both the customer as well as the employees (specially with the AC not working), I want to acknowledge Ms. Stacy Lancey for keeping a smile on her face the entire time we were there and providing great customer service to each and every customer including myself. She sets a great example of what immaculate customer service should be no matter the circumstances. All the staff are friendly and helpful but i wanted to shine light on Ms. Lancey today. This location is so chaotic and disorganized. When I arrived today, the line was completely double wrapped around the inside of the building- 22 people deep. Not only are the workers undertrained, the customers seem to have no idea how to help with efficiency. The employees are very nice and willing to help but it's completely unprofessional that you have to hold the line up to call your boss to ask for pricing! It's really not their faults it's such a mess- a good owner/manager would look ahead for pitfalls and solve them early. The only thing that will help this location is having two separate lines. With only two people working, it's completely unfair to the people who simply need to have their packages scanned for drop off to have to wait 45 minutes in line because someone gets up to the counter and takes FOREVER. I've held my tongue long enough about this store! I'm done coming here. UPS itself needs to upgrade the inside of this store to be bigger, they need to hire more workers, and if they can implement a self-scan station, that will save everyone so much time and frustration. read more

This is a standalone UPS store and comes with all the bells and whistles that are associated with UPS. Copying, printing, packaging and shipping are all done here. Do note, if you are planning to print a shipping label, it won't be cheap (that's true for any shipping store, to be honest, be it UPS or FedEx). The printing costs at such stores tend to be on the higher side per page so I avoid printing if I have no other alternatives. The staff is courteous helped me with an issue that I had with my package when it was sent back. I got to this store and inquired about the package and the rep checked up on my behalf. I've returned some packages here as well and it all went smoothly. They have ample parking space so no worries there. The shipping and returns depend on a number of factors and the experience here can vary, however, I never had any issues. They have all the services that you'd expect from a UPS store and the staff did a good job accommodating my requests in a timely manner with good customer service. The store had once taken my drivers license to verify my package during a busy weekday morning and forgot to give it back and it had completely skipped my mind to check before leaving the store. After a couple of days after checking my wallet it hit me that I never got my license back from this store but thankfully the store had kept my license safely (which every store should do) which was a big sigh of relief. UPS stores are a one stop shop for all your shipping needs. From quick service to tracking packages, the store accommodates every service. They offer printing services as well but in my honest opinion, this should be your last resort for printing any kind of documents. This is the most efficient shipping center I have ever been to. Everyone is friendly and helpful. UPS may have won me over as a customer vs FedEx based entirely on my experience here. They are limiting people in the store to 3. I pulled up to a huge line, and I was still in and out faster than places where I've walked straight up to the counter. Bravo team!! read more

I went to this UPS store to have some paperwork notarized. I got there at 5:45pm, the store was very crowded so I waited my turn. After 30 minutes It was finally my turn. I was told notaries stop after 6:00pm. I told the representative that I had been there In line prior to 6pm. He shrugged his shoulders and said "I'm sorry" and then the woman that does the notaries said "I stop doing notaries at 5pm actually" with a very nasty attitude. It would've been nice to know that. I sincerely hope the store will have the service times posted in the future. I also hope the customer service representatives go through customer satisfaction training. read more

Very nice! I enjoy going to the UPS store over the USPS because of lines, customer service, cleanliness, and weekend availability. The location closer to me is great, but their credit card machine has been funky lately, requiring you to type out your entire number rather than swipe. Not convenient if you have to pay. This location didn't have that issue! They were training a new employee, but it still wasn't slow, they were very kind, and helped me ship my package the cheapest way possible and still have tracking! Very cool! They had multiple things inside of there that seemed weird for a UPS store, like study guides and keys, but strangely I impulsively wanted to buy some of it. I didn't. But mainly because they had house keys and not office ones . The store was pristine in cleanliness, in a great neighborhood, and convenient if you find yourself on FM 1960 often. It was a great experience and I might take the extra few minute drive to come here more often! read more

Not recommended for Amazon returns. They take weeks... literally 3+ weeks to send off drop-offs for Amazon. This has happened 4x in the past 3 months so I know it is not just random. It's so annoying. When you ask them about your package they advise they are waiting for some sort of box to be full before they will ship Amazon returns. The only reason I ever came here was for this purpose but no more! I would rather drive further to another store than do another Amazon return here and have to wait a month to get my Amazon refund. read more

Needed to print 2 black and white pages (the Amazon return slip and mailing label). Charged me $3.03 for to print the 2 pages. Long wait, more than 20 minutes to print and drop. To top it off, the checkout clerk was rude and chewing gum (open mouthed) the entire time. Just ugh read more

I had a package to send with a prepaid return label. This was about the best experience you could possibly have. Easy to find, on the south side of 1960 at Champions. The store was clean. But, the best part was the young woman that helped me. Absolutely fantastic customer service. She should get a raise. Because no matter what she is being paid, it should be more! The box had the previous shipping labels on it and they needed to be covered. The return shipping label was one that you print and then put in a plastic sleeve. And the box itself needed to have packing tape across the main seam and the two sides. I tried to do these necessary things myself. But, was not allowed, she took care of everything!!! woohoo!!! Try just getting a piece of tape at the post office. You would be more likely to meet the pope, than get any assistance! lol This will be my UPS Store for sure!!! read more

This store went above and beyond what is expected. I had two large boxes to drop off, all ready to go with paid labels attached, but I have a one-year-old and a four-year-old so juggling all that to come in and drop off is always a hassle. I took a chance and called to see if someone could meet me at the curb and she didn't even bat an eye at the request. Lots of places give you a heavy sigh and a roll of the eyes but this lady was super nice about it. So instead of having to get out my stroller, put the baby in the stroller, get out the four-year-old, put the boxes somewhere or try to hold them while pushing the stroller and making sure the four-year-old does not run into the parking lot, drop off the boxes, come out, put the four-year-old in his car seat,put the one-year-old in his car seat, load the stroller back in the trunk, and leave... I was able to pull up, hand off my boxes and go :) You can't beat friendly service! read more

All these bad reviews don't make sense to me. Ive been coming here for 6 years or more and every single person I've ever spoken to at this business is nothing but kind and friendly and not just to me but everyone. Life lesson for those reading this: the energy you're carrying can translate to others, so if you are already upset about anything , subconsciously it can spread like a flu to other people without intentionally doing so. All the staff here are just wonderful and with how busy they stay consistently, I understand how exhausting of a job keeping up the smiles for 8 hours can be. Came here on Friday to pick up my mother-in-law's phone unfortunately it took one business day to get here so I had to wait until Monday which I returned and I didn't catch any names but the whole staff was bomb.com. It doesn't matter if the system was down for AT&T or another system. The fact is the system was down which prompted me to go to another UPS store at 249 and Louetta. By the way, their system was up and running. Even though your store is closer to my home, we purposely drive the extra distance to the UPS store on 249/Louetta or Louetta/ Stuebner because their systems are more reliable. Why not try to research and fix the problem instead of denying it on Yelp and telling me the system eventually came up that day. read more

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEED TO TAPE YOUR PACKAGE! Last time I was here to return a package to Amazon, I needed to tape my package closed and slap on the shipping label. Lady said I had to pay some "taping fee" of like $2 (a sign was posted on the wall). I had been to this UPS before and last time they didn't charge me. In fact, I was just at another UPS store today on Jones Rd. to return a package and they didn't charge me for taping. I rent my college textbooks via Amazon or Chegg so whenever I need to return them I always print out the return label and just tape everything when I get there. UPS has always done this for me for free but for whatever reason this particular time at this particular location they charged me. I haven't been back. read more

I've been using this location for years but today was the LAST time I'll darken their doorway. I went in with 3-boxes returning items to my company in FL. Two of the boxes needed to be taped up. The woman tells me "We now charge $1.00 per box to tape them up". Honestly, at first I thought she was trying to be funny but sadly she was not. You know who doesn't mind taping my boxes up for me at now extra charge? FedEx and my company has an account with them as well.
