I know I've written a review for this location twice but Yelper just decides to throw away peoples reviews as they see fit. So for that I must write another review for this location because their service is impeccable and I've never had a sour taste in my mouth from the employees here. I have had many UPS stores in my life, just like everyone else, and I usually get met with an "I don't want to do it" an attitude. This location greets you and when you're waiting in line they let you know they'll be right with you. Sometimes I don't have the simple bare necessities for shipping like tape and they don't cry they just help you. Today was another private example of that, I was in such a hurry that I left the house to get my daughter to school and of course I wanted to get a couple things sent out because I've haven't had the time lately. 'Tis the season.... I show up at the counter, we go through the whole process of getting it all ready to ship and print out the label and then I go to reach for my wallet and it's not there. The lovely lady at the counter said why don't you just call me with a credit card and I'll take care of it for you. Talk about a can-do attitude, in that particular situation usually a business will just send you on your way. Lucky for me, I left it in the sunvisor so I was able to go right back in and take care of it but I was so impressed with her willingness to come up with a solution vs the typical "it's your problem" attitude. Seems like new management is making this the next UPS Closed. Last 3 visits have been fairly consistently disappointing; long wait, rude short correspondence, twice overcharged for no reason-they must be hurting for money. Our romance (10 years) is over! Really sad your appreciation for your old clients does not mean anything to you any more, So glad there are plenty of options out here. Taking all my references with me! read more

Notary Fee Schedule Compliance (A.R.S. §§ 41-316): A notary can charge no more than $2 per signature. Notary fees are set in rule (A.A.C. R2-12-1102). See the notary rules starting on page 47. This is what it says... I'll get clarification from Arizona Secretary of state if it is per notary signature or if it is per customer signature. I'll update my review after I hear back from them. Absolutely hopeless. Why anybody uses this company I do not know. They have "mislaid" 31 large boxes but whoever you deal with in UPS just passes on another number for you to chase. They get one star because I cannot post this with any less. read more

I've been a customer for a few years. The service is unmatched. They will earn your business every visit!

I try not to complain but I feel future customers need to be aware of some of the incompetence at this store. I have had a lot of time wasted by the same employee giving me the wrong information more than once. Not all the employees are properly trained and even give the incorrect information or not enough. Not only is there a lack of professionalism at this store which can cost you your time and money but to make matters worse, management doesn't seem to be aware or want to do anything about it. I have also received other people's mail in my mailbox several times, including someone else's check and I have received my mail late because it was apparently put in someone else's box. It is a shame because generally, the employees are nice enough and I know they are good people but it doesn't make up for the headaches and stress they have caused me. I have let several mistakes go without writing a negative review but I've reach my limit. read more

I needed a passport photo to be taken today. My Internet search took me to this UPS store noting that passport photos could be taken. Inside of the store is a hanging sign that reads, "passport photos and ID photos." I asked the checkout person for a passport photo. He said that the store does not do passport photos. I noted frustration because both the Internet and the signs inside the store indicated that they do. This was not the nearest UPS store to me and I came specifically to the store because of the Internet information and the signs inside the store. The person helping me seemed uncertain of solid information so he turned to what I assume to be the manager or the owner. The manager/owner was brusque and said shortly, "you may have seen it on a website, but not our website!" I pointed to the sign directly above the cashier station that indicated passport photos. I was told to "read the fine print" that not all services are at all locations. I said I'm fine with that, but it's frustrating to be led to the store with misinformation and have the signage inside the store not be correct. The poor customer service from the second employee convinced me that I won't be using this location for any future services. I intended to leave one star, but as I stood outside of the store looking for another nearby place at which to get a passport photo, a third employee named Spencer (I didn't catch the name of the other two employees) came out to apologize for the situation and gave me locations of other nearby businesses that could help. I really appreciated that he tried to do the right thing and had a conversation that was not confrontational. So, if the owner of the business is reading this review, Spencer is a keeper. Got 4 B/W prints from a USB, was charged a download fee. Total WITH a coupon was $.56 a page. I was just ripped off. Go anywhere else! Even another UPS, they are individually owned. read more

I have using this UPS store the last four years. I was told from day one that each item shipped was automatically covered for $100. no additional insurance needed unless I valued package higher. I recently shipped items and again when I brought up insurance I received same story. The package in question this time was marked 'Fragile' and of course this one and only time since shipping from this particular store, several items were broken. I called store to ask how to start a claim. I have tracking number and was told an investigation would be started. I called today and no claim was filed. Then today I'm told the $100. Is only guaranteed if the store does the packing. I've never been told that by anyone in that store until now. Now I don't blame the store that items were broken but I do blame them for not being honest and upfront on insurance and shipping policies. I would of bought additional insurance since I was sending that was breakable and wanted extra assurance. If I'd known about policy the insurance was only good if they packed, I certainly would of paid the extra money for them to pack. I feel I have been deceived. When I expressed my feelings I was told the person that waited on me would of made sure I knew the policy. Then I was made to feel I was lying and trying to defraud them. Yes I got angry very angry. Used a few choice words and hung up. Theses places are easy and convenient to use but when you need to file a claim there is always so loop hole for them to get out of it. Went in to ship 3 bike tires. They didn't have a bag big enough so we put them in a box. $47 dollars to ship $18 worth of tires!!! Needles to say I declined, then she charged me $11 for the box that they put the tires. I won't be back to ups read more

The Owner, Brian, is incredibly rude. I shipped an international package through them and he processed my order and asked if i needed tracking, I said yes. He then asked the value of the package and I told him. We concluded our transaction and I was on my way. No disclaimers or anything else. Nearly 2 months later, package hasn't been delivered and I came in to inquire why. He told me he shipped it through the post office and that he was only a pass through party so he couldn't track it or do anything. I told him that he should have told me that up front as i intentionally didnt go to USPS as i needed tracking. He scoffed and said that i should have assumed that as he's been doing this for many years and thats common sense. I told him he never disclosed any of this and i specifically told him i needed tracking the whole way. He said that cant be true as he always tells customers everything they need to know and said I was lying. I asked how I was suppose to know that and he got frustrated and walked away and said "i'm done talking to you, you should have known". He is the worst type of business owner and should have his location shut down. He is an absolute disgrace to the UPS brand. read more

this UPS Store will be my "forever" UPS store from now on, simply for one reason. a mistake was made on a transaction that I completed last Sunday, (btw did you all know that they are the only smart UPS store that is open on Sundays, in the entire state of AZ ?) that's another example of just good business and "capturing the market". the mistake was realized on Weds. 4/29 and I promptly called the store to report my disappointment,, spoke to the owner, Brian. At end of our conversation, he offered to come directly to our home within the hour and rectify the situation, which he did! then he even followed up with a phone call today to ensure all had been correctly completed! What great customer satisfaction in this day and age!!! Anyone can make a mistake, its how they recover from it and make it right, that counts in the long run.
