I am someone who ships parcels internationally multiple times per year. I came to this location and was greeted by two snarling women, who spoke down to me when I asked if I could send the package. One of the women even referred me to DHL in Davis! It wasn't until I said I was not interested in the service, I was finally offered a quote. I took my business elsewhere. I suggest you do too! Unless you'd like to have two middle aged women rolling their eyes and turning their nose up to you. FedEx did amazing though. Friendly service. The customer service at this UPS location makes me wish I lived in Dixon. Samantha helped me with notarizing documents. She was informative and very professional. Bad customer service. The lady closing the store was rude not just to me but everyone else that came in before closing. She kept complaining and giving everyone attitude... It felt like she didn't want to do her job and wanted us to do it for her. She kept directing everyone to the Dropbox... I was kinda confused since my orders didn't fit in the dropbox and she got mad... I was last in line and she wanted to kick me out of the store and not take my order when I had been in line for over 15 min. She was a bit unprofessional and felt like she didn't want to deal with anyone or do her job. Hope management can review this and watch how she was also acting with another lady that needed help but employee was trying to avoid helping her at the counter. This was the last 25 min of the day. Right before closing on 1/24/24. A bit Rude, Short tempered and sounded annoyed with her job. Hope not to deal with her again! read more

I just want to add my two cents about the 5 star excellence of this store. I had legal documents that were emailed to me from Michigan. They do NOT have e-signature in Michigan. I had to have these documents printed out, notorized and overnighted back to Michigan......I had to have 35 pages printed out!!! I REALLY needed some personal attention......This lady walked me through my documents like a legal expert! We got everything taken care of ..... I was there for an HOUR!!!! I will never use this location again for anything. And I will think twice before using UPS at all after this. They refused to accept my RealID compliant Military ID. They wouldn't accept my perfectly valid drivers license paperwork from the DMV with my license. The person at the desk was rude and wouldn't even consider they could be wrong. This place and UPS cannot claim time support the military because they don't. Update: I went across the street (N. Lincoln St.) to the Farmers Insurance Agent. They were highly respectful, helpful, and accepted my Military ID. And they were $5 cheaper for a Live Scan. Skip UPS and go there. read more

I was having the worst day!!! I had to print out something important and my printer wasn't working. I was able to print to the ups store email. My email wouldn't send,I finally got it to send . Corey a staff member was short to me after asking simple questions about my return. Then got very short with me again when I asked a question about a tracking number that didn't show up on my receipt. She was rushed, and very rude and acted put out that I asked her a question. Too bad. Made everyone waiting uncomfortable. No one should tolerate such rudeness from those being paid to provide customer service. I'm a semi-regular customer to this UPS, and I'm always an unorganized mess. I'm the type that has her kid in one arm and a package in the other, but I also need to print and tape things. AND I ALWAYS FORGET THE TAPE. Sam is always a sweetheart and helps me. She even saved my kids toy when we forgot it. I've been helped by almost everyone here but Sam always sticks out in my mind playing with my kid, helping me organize my stuff, taping, boxing, and sending me off on my merry way. This place is quite useful. I've been in here for livescan (fingerprinting to chaperone a field trip), notary services, sending a fax, and shopping packages. Quick & easy every time. I'm always presently surprised how easy they make everything. I dropped off some rented textbooks to return ship them; I had the box and the address label, they packed it right up, taped it, and handed me a receipt in about 60 seconds. I'd expected it to take much longer, I didn't know what to do with myself! They carry packaging supplies, some greeting cards, etc. Conveniently located in the Safeway shopping center right off the Pitt School Rd. exit from I-80. read more

If you run out of tape would not recommend dropping your packages here! They tried charged me $2 just to tape packages for ups packages I need to ship it. Drove 5 minutes away to another UPS for much better customer service. read more

So, I already wrote this once, and it didn't show up... irritating. Perhaps it takes awhile to post. I went to this store awhile back needing fingerprints for a visa/immigration. I asked the girl behind the counter for help, and she said she had to check to see if the notary guy was available. She walked five feet to her left, and asked in a voice I could hear, "Are you here?" I heard a male voice respond from behind a small partition, "No." She came back out to the counter and told me that the notary wasn't available, and that I'd have to come back another day. She asked me if I wanted a card so I could call in advance to see if he was there. I said, "No." I won't be going back to that store, if I can help it. I was extremely irritated and angry, and I had to go to the next town down the interstate to get my fingerprints taken, because I wasn't going to wait till the next day just so I could go back to the same lame UPS store. The notary guy had told me on previous visits that he is there up until 4pm every day, and that all I needed to do was show up before 4pm and he'd be able to help me. I was there at 2pm on that day. I guess he wasn't being completely accurate. Additionally, the notary guy, or the store owner, only hires young girls (late teens, early twenties). These girls aren't great in the customer service. Niether of them that I have seen go out of their way to explain things and offer short, often terse replies that leave me feeling like someone has put ice down my shirt. I'm not impressed. read more

I stop by the UPS Store in Dixon at least every other week or so. It is located in a small shopping center next to Safeway and the staff are always nice. Chad is the one who helps me whenever I'm there to get documents notarized and he's super helpful and friendly. read more

First I get NOT all employees here are bad but this new lady was Rude! I usually have had great experience here. Asked to mail items of value/heirloom to a family member paid big bucks etc ... then told items would not be packaged in front of me after paying for my shipment and could possibly lay loose on counter until Monday! Unacceptable! Then told if I stood here waiting it could take awhile if customers walked in as she would have to attend to them first? Customers weren't even in the store! I couldn't understand why this was even a issue? I simply wanted to make sure items were secure inside a box. Then she argued (even after saying I would wait) that it had $100 insurance but thats not the value because these items had no value as it was (family heirloom) Unbelievable experience. This person could not understand why I was reluctant to leave? Very rude and disrespectful. If I could have I wouldn't have mailed it out and paid for it today but now they had my items and it was paid for before knowing this would happen! Crazy customer service! Highly NOT Recommended and if I was the manager I would fire her for poor customer service. Very rude! read more

This UPS Store has the best people working for them. The owner is always friendly and so are each of his employees. They are always to help and their service is the best. We at YAH-WHOOO Organic Gardens ship packages 3 to 4 time a week anywhere from 1 to 11 large boxes each day. We have never had any problems. It is a pleasure to deal with them. read more

I had a horrible experience here with a clerk named Bryan. I was feeling pretty sick but needed to get something out pronto. I don't normally use priority but was in a tight squeeze and asked Bryan for some help. He gave me an 8.5 x 11 priority envelope. I asked him how much it was and he said $10.95. I thought it was kind of pricey but dont really have that much experience with usps services in general, on top of being sick. I obviously found out later that such a priority envelope only costs $5.60 at most! Bryan definitely took advantage of my inexperience as well as me being sick to make some extra money, On top of that, THAT UPS store also missent my letter to the wrong USPS sorting facility and delayed a time-sensitive item. Maybe he had a bad day and decided to ruin someone else's, i dont know. BUT I WOULD NEVER GO BACK HERE. read more
