PostMark's definitely gets all my business! Why wouldn't it! It is close to my house and always provides 5 star Yelp service no matter what my needs are. As opposed to driving a few miles to the Davis U.S. Post Office where I would constantly be standing in a long line waiting and waiting. And rarely having the GREAT customer experience I receive every single time I am at PostMark's! It seems like PostMark's has been here forever. And, there really was a Mark who first opened the shop! It was an immediate hit as I recall and Mark was a cool dude who greeted everyone by his/her name! Not sure what happened to him but eventually there was another owner. Happily the Biz remained awesome and life went on. Just recently and during the virus I read a new owner (owner #3) has taken over PostMark's! What I really love is he has been posting on the Nextdoor Neighbor's site keeping the Community updated on the availability of those hard to find items we so want during these tough times. Masks, gloves and sanitizer. And even better, you can call and place your order as well as pay then pick up curbside! Just shoot them a text when you arrive and someone will come out and bring your items. I love that! Anything you need from the regular Post Office, you can get or do here! In addition to any kind of mailing supplies, stationary goodies, shredding availability, p.o. boxes, passport pics, you can find the best greeting cards ever! Did I mention UPS drop off! Thought it was so convenient to buy my stamps from them so I woudn't have to wait in line at the post office during the holidays. First the guy tried to give me one of the 20 packs with a stamp missing. Then when I bought 80 stamps he just charged me and once I got home I realized that they mark up the stamp price by almost 25%. They are legally allowed but they conveniently don't say anything about it. What a rip-off. I would rather stand in line to save myself almost $15. read more

They do so much--ship, receive packages, notary public, passport photos, sell basic shipping stuff, make copies....I've used all of these services over the years. MOST IMPORTANTLY---you can trust them. I regularly hand over prepaid packages for USPS and UPS and they ship them immediately. Employees are friendly and incredibly helpful. They'll tell you the best way to ship your product and will also pack it for you (for a fee, of course). I can't recommend them enough. Yeah, it might be cheaper to stand in line at UPS or Fed Ex in West Sacramento, but who wants to do that when you can support a local business? HIGHLY recommend! read more

I've been doing business here for many years, over the course of three different owners, as I live down the street. The current owner is very nice and his long-time employee, Alex, is fabulous. Unfortunately, however, the newer employee, a young man, has given the business a bad name. For example, this morning (8/20/24), I arrived at 9:00 a.m. to a closed store (unfortunately not the first time). I saw another customer approach the store a few minutes later, disgruntled to see no one there. Finally, at 9:20, the store was opened. I walked into music blasting, (as it was last time he was manning the store) and handed him my package, as I asked if they were supposed to open at 9:00. He paused, and lazily said "yea, I was running late." He said nothing more, then printed out a label with a different name on it than the label I had originally placed on my package. I had to ask him for the package back and a pen, so I could manually correct the name. Still he said nothing. It has been a very long time since I have encountered such apathy from someone who is in customer service. If it were just his unfriendly, apathetic attitude, I would probably continue to to tolerate it because the location is convenient. But this, plus never knowing if they will be open on time, has tipped the balance for me. This store has lost my business. read more

I went in the other day to send a package to Japan. I have never sent a package to Japan before and I was a bit nervous. Kenneth helped me out and really provided a pleasant and professional experience. He helped me step by step, from packing, to address, to customs, all to help me get the best rate and ensure my package got to my friend in Japan. I went in at around 5:30PM and they close at 6:00PM, but Kenneth helped me past 6:00PM with a smile on his face the whole time. I didn't mean for it to take to long, but Postmarks showed me they were committed to doing it right instead of just fast. After going to the Davis post office right by my work which was a nightmare I decided I needed to look for another place to take my UPS returns and came across Postmark's, lucky me!! First off, the parking lot here sucks. It's rare I'll find a close spot. Everything else about the place makes up for it though. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The young guy who is always there when I come in is great. Pricing is very fair and they don't make me buy a whole pack of envelopes when I only need one, or make me purchase a whole roll of tape like the Davis post office did.
