I went in the other day to send a package to Japan. I have never sent a package to Japan before and I was a bit nervous. Kenneth helped me out and really provided a pleasant and professional experience. He helped me step by step, from packing, to address, to customs, all to help me get the best rate and ensure my package got to my friend in Japan. I went in at around 5:30PM and they close at 6:00PM, but Kenneth helped me past 6:00PM with a smile on his face the whole time. I didn't mean for it to take to long, but Postmarks showed me they were committed to doing it right instead of just fast. Kenneth and Postmarks has earned my business and I will be going back again and again for future packages I need to deliver. read more

Can always count on amazing customer service! Thank you for your consistency and kindness!

I go here because it's convenient, and I find that all of Ken's staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Sometimes, I even stop by just to say "Hi" on my way to Nugget. I love that they remember my name and know exactly what needs to be done, especially when I'm short on time. Over the many years I've worked with them, I've never encountered any issues. They are fast and efficient. I would definitely rate them 5+ stars! read more

Just ridiculous. I've been having a wine club shipment shipped here for 2 years now. SUDDENLY TODAY there is a $5 "pickup fee". Total b.s. I'll NEVER be back here. Never. read more

They went above and beyond to help me with a package! Definitely recommend Postmarks!

Excellent service, great help and great little shop. Had passport photo taken and found adorable cards.

I always appreciate the excellent customer service provided in this business. They are patient with us crabby old people, take their time, and communicate well. Highly recommended. read more

Friendliest staff, all-around great service, and a hilarious colleciton of greeting cards. Go there any time we can.

I brought in ink cartridges to return to Cannon to recycle but neglected to print a label. The clerk went out of his way to figure it out, print a label for me, use post marks return address for simplicity, and didn't charge me a cent. Was so friendly and helpful, I have consistently had this experience at Postmarks and use their service whenever I can ... great place!!! read more

PostMark's definitely gets all my business! Why wouldn't it! It is close to my house and always provides 5 star Yelp service no matter what my needs are. As opposed to driving a few miles to the Davis U.S. Post Office where I would constantly be standing in a long line waiting and waiting. And rarely having the GREAT customer experience I receive every single time I am at PostMark's! It seems like PostMark's has been here forever. And, there really was a Mark who first opened the shop! It was an immediate hit as I recall and Mark was a cool dude who greeted everyone by his/her name! Not sure what happened to him but eventually there was another owner. Happily the Biz remained awesome and life went on. Just recently and during the virus I read a new owner (owner #3) has taken over PostMark's! What I really love is he has been posting on the Nextdoor Neighbor's site keeping the Community updated on the availability of those hard to find items we so want during these tough times. Masks, gloves and sanitizer. And even better, you can call and place your order as well as pay then pick up curbside! Just shoot them a text when you arrive and someone will come out and bring your items. I love that! Anything you need from the regular Post Office, you can get or do here! In addition to any kind of mailing supplies, stationary goodies, shredding availability, p.o. boxes, passport pics, you can find the best greeting cards ever! Did I mention UPS drop off! So my "YELP Thursday Thank You" goes out to PostMark's. It just wouldn't be the same without you! read more

Five star service. I've lived in Davis for twenty years and this has become a staple for my existence. They do so much--ship, receive packages, notary public, passport photos, sell basic shipping stuff, make copies....I've used all of these services over the years. MOST IMPORTANTLY---you can trust them. I regularly hand over prepaid packages for USPS and UPS and they ship them immediately. Employees are friendly and incredibly helpful. They'll tell you the best way to ship your product and will also pack it for you (for a fee, of course). I can't recommend them enough. Yeah, it might be cheaper to stand in line at UPS or Fed Ex in West Sacramento, but who wants to do that when you can support a local business? HIGHLY recommend! read more

Alex helped us out in an emergency to keep our business running, maybe boxes are something that you think are not emergency related item but if you want to keep your customers happy and we ran out, their prices are fair and the service is great. They are also willing to order any specialty items you need and sizes. read more

Thought it was so convenient to buy my stamps from them so I woudn't have to wait in line at the post office during the holidays. First the guy tried to give me one of the 20 packs with a stamp missing. Then when I bought 80 stamps he just charged me and once I got home I realized that they mark up the stamp price by almost 25%. They are legally allowed but they conveniently don't say anything about it. What a rip-off. I would rather stand in line to save myself almost $15. read more

I love this place! I usually come for copies or printings and some shipping. I always feel confident of excellence in customer service and delivery of product. Alex and staff always ensures the accuracy of my order, provide kindness and enjoyment in customer service. I am generally stressed at paperwork I am doing at the time and always feel much better after my order is complete. Sometimes it is very busy and they acknowledge customers and let them know about the wait period. Margo read more

I have been using Postmarks for nearly 10 years and in that entire time I've always had a great experience. I feel lucky to have a local pack and shop operation in our part of town. A much more personal and positive experience dealing with a local business instead of going the FedEx madhouse in downtown Davis. read more

My boyfriend came here to ship some items because we are moving. Alex was extremely helpful and friendly and made a generally stressful task very easy! Definitely come here if you need anything shipped, etc. Customer service is superb, which makes shipping tasks a lot easier. read more

I have been going to them for years. They've always been reliable, and every package I've dropped off at their facilities have always made it to transit. They are adding a few extra touches right now, like Funko pops and pokémon cards. Which are cute little last-minute gifts. Overall, highly recommend them. read more

I came to Postmarks for my live scan. Alex, the technician, provided great customer service!

The people working there are always so nice and helpful. They know their business well. Highly recommend them for all your shipping needs!

I've been doing business here for many years, over the course of three different owners, as I live down the street. The current owner is very nice and his long-time employee, Alex, is fabulous. Unfortunately, however, the newer employee, a young man, has given the business a bad name. For example, this morning (8/20/24), I arrived at 9:00 a.m. to a closed store (unfortunately not the first time). I saw another customer approach the store a few minutes later, disgruntled to see no one there. Finally, at 9:20, the store was opened. I walked into music blasting, (as it was last time he was manning the store) and handed him my package, as I asked if they were supposed to open at 9:00. He paused, and lazily said "yea, I was running late." He said nothing more, then printed out a label with a different name on it than the label I had originally placed on my package. I had to ask him for the package back and a pen, so I could manually correct the name. Still he said nothing. It has been a very long time since I have encountered such apathy from someone who is in customer service. If it were just his unfriendly, apathetic attitude, I would probably continue to to tolerate it because the location is convenient. But this, plus never knowing if they will be open on time, has tipped the balance for me. This store has lost my business. read more

I love this place so much. Been coming here for years. Alex is the best. Always friendly and helpful. Usually I swing by after work to mail things and even when I've had a long day and feel exhausted, the good music and kindness of the folks here always makes my day better. I mean - no one really looks forward to mailing packages but Postmarks definitely makes it a good experience. read more

After going to the Davis post office right by my work which was a nightmare I decided I needed to look for another place to take my UPS returns and came across Postmark's, lucky me!! First off, the parking lot here sucks. It's rare I'll find a close spot. Everything else about the place makes up for it though. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The young guy who is always there when I come in is great. Pricing is very fair and they don't make me buy a whole pack of envelopes when I only need one, or make me purchase a whole roll of tape like the Davis post office did. I'll continue to come here all of for my mailing needs. read more

I love coming here. The guy who works there is very inventive with communicating with me. Always asking what is the sign for "thank you" and recently I came to drop off a package, lady asked what the sign was for "welcome" so sudden I feel so welcome here! read more
