I asked the worker for help, and he told me where to email my documents so they could print them. After that, he went to help other customers. There were a couple of other workers there, so I was a little confused as to why he was the only one helping customers. After a few minutes, he came back to print my documents, but before bringing them over, he answered the phone and spent about 10 minutes helping the customer on the call. By the time I finally got my papers and paid, I was in a rush and didn't notice the extra $2.50 FS surcharge on my receipt. I looked it up afterward and it seems like they charge that fee when a worker helps you. So my $3.28 print job for two papers ended up being $6.31 The prints came out fine, but the fee should be mentioned upfront. This was probably my first and last time coming here, I'll stick with Copyland since I've always had a better experience there

Honestly, if you have the UPS logo on the top and in the middle of your sign out front, please do not refer me to a different UPS outlet. It's fairly deceptive to advertise UPS almost as your main gig, yet refer me to an entirely different location. Need to ship via UPS? Go to the UPS store. They'll even give you the address on a little sheet of paper.

He became impatient, lost his temper and kicked me out of the store, threatening to call the police for my simple question and rational request for understanding. We had a good experience here. We needed a van for only a couple of hours to move a bed, dresser,…read moreand some other large items. I called in advance and reserved a van without any problems. The gentleman at the counter seemed very knowledgeable and was clear and concise with us as to what the process was. Returning the van was easy and there were no problems or issues. Overall, this was a great experience. The van was in good condition. I like the fact that the vans have backup cameras (they show the video in the rear view mirror itself). I would rent from here again. TIP: When you get to the driveway, the gate will be closed (or at least it was when we showed up). You simply have to go to the callbox (left side of the driveway when entering) and the attendant will talk to you and open the gate.

All of my results with them were above expected quality, on time (often with only a few days notice given by me), and in one case, over quantity (they printed extra copies and essentially gave me the overage for free, despite me offering to pay for the extras). This is a family owned and operated place. If you stop by the office, you will even get to greet the very friendly and adorable "shop dog". If you want either "real printing" (offset presses with plates and real ink) or commercial-quality digital printing, The Printer is your place in Davis. In fact, this may be the only offset printers left in Davis. There's something special about printing done the old fashioned and time-honored way. Something about the whir of the rollers, the thump of the feeders, and the smell of the ink. And my goodness, the quality is to die for.
