Disaster ! my wife left a package of a valuable item to be shipped to California for appraisal. Shipped 2 day air for $64. After 2 days the shipper (UPS) had no record of it ever leaving the store ! Went back to store to talk to manager. He said he repacked the item because he over heard my wife say that there was a valuable item in it. The item was very securely packed the day it was left at the store. We gave him no permission to repack it. It could not be insured as we had no appraisal of the item. We reported the loss / theft to UPS corporate. They are in the process of their investigation. read more

This business's comment to my original review clearly missed my point. Yes, the staff is amazing and always helpful and friendly. However, the owners should be more concerned with the accuracy of hours open being accurate to when the store is actually open. Not being open on Sunday is inconvenient but even more inconvenient is the fact that everywhere online and on the storefront the hours show as open on Sunday. read more

For the same rate, Box is smaller compared to USPS. FEEs up the whazoo: $10 late payment fee, whereas USPS has 15-day grace period w/o any fees until USPS locks your box that needs to be re-opened for $25. Mail Delivery may be slower than USPS (in by 10 am) as you have to wait for it to be delivered (add transit time from USPS to UPS). At UPS, CUSTOMER SERVICE is priceless! Comforting that someone always picks up the phone. Answers your questions. Stores your package. Reasonable Fees gives you a peace of mind that your mail will *not* get lost in space. Great service, fast and easy way to send packages. They also sell envelopes and other packaging gear, birthday cards and it's never too busy. This UPS location is terrible, staff is unhelpful and have gotten product that I paid them to package dirty. As many other reviews mention, they price gouge customers for standard printing. The UPS Store depends entirely on the staff. As an entity in and of themselves, UPS is a terrible company. Everything about the way they run their business is a nightmare. They have some of the worst customer service in the industry. This review is for this location and this staff and their services and not an endorsement for UPS at all. I had previously posted my review highlighting shipping damage I had and the lack of response from my claim. I quickly got a response which was obviously computer generated from their "Customer Relations" team. I responded and now 2 weeks later nothing further. I have just given up on this which I suspect they hope with all claims...delay until people just give up. My take away...never have them pack anything that can break as they take no ownership or responsibility of their work. Second, don't waste your money on insurance as it is meaningless. read more

I had a major last minute printing emergency and Cameron came through for me. I called early Saturday morning, sent my files and he got it completed straight away. He even sent photos of the print job before it was picked up. The staff at the 2027 store are golden in my book. read more

This store used to be awesome and the staff still is. However a new owner bought it and decided not to support insurance claims. I shipped an espresso machine to be repaired in January and had it packed by the store & paid the insurance premium. The unit arrived damaged in New Jersey - and since then the owner has done nothing to help push the claim forward. As a result I had to talk to the UPS damage team - which was helpful until the store stopped co-operating, the UPS capital claims team - that I never got hold of as they don't pick up their phone and the UPS customer relations team - that is overworked and requires you to hold for an hour every time before talking to them. Still have not gotten my check - but if you are shipping something valuable, any UPS store in Chicago will be better than 207 E Ohio read more

I'm changing my 5-star review from 2015-'16 to one star! Management has apparently changed hands and so has the level of customer service. I placed a simple print order yesterday, went in to pick it up today only to be told they could not print it due to their system's errors. That's fine, I said..just refund the cost and I'll be on my way. The "manager" refused to refund the cost, but not before trying to get me to go back home and send him another print order (?!), so that he could try printing again (?!) So not only do I not have the print order I needed- I've been charged for services not rendered, and he is holding the funds hostage. Mind you, this is the same newer employee who never acknowledges me as a customer when I come in so I usually just quietly wait to ask another employee for assistance when he's at the register. My solution will be to contact corporate, let my bank dispute the charge, and to never patronize this location again. Ghett-o! read more

Left my return label at home and they were going to charge me $5 to print a new copy. But apparently making a photocopy is only 10 cents? Representative was not helpful when I was confused about the charge. I will be avoiding returns here moving forward. read more

I have scheduled an appointment for notary service online, received a confirmation number for this morning. I called last night to confirm that they said that I need to show up on time, which I did. I was then told by Juan (who was very indifferent about the situation) that they do not perform notary services at all. I then asked him to get a manager who is not on site. This is another typical system failure, where nobody cares about anything. They can say: " I am sorry, but this is the way our system works, " and there is no incentive to fix the problem. I am not expecting them to respond to this, but I will at least tell my friends and colleagues at work about this incidence. Fortunately, I work nearby, and we have many choices. read more

The public computer wasn't working, so the customer before me had his papers printed by the employee (Ricardo). When my turn came, he asked if I wanted to wait for the computer to reboot or that he could also just print them for me. He wasn't sure how long the public computer would take to reboot, so I said he could print them. He charged me 1$/page for B&W instead of the 0.25$/page advertised, which he said was only if I used the public computer. He hadn't mentioned that and presented the option of printing it himself because the public computer wasn't working. What a ripoff, totally taking advantage of people. read more

I've been coming to this UPS location for years and have never been disappointed with the quality of service I've received. The employees are always helpful and move at lightening speed when there's a line so you aren't spending your entire day in there. The prices can be on the insane side for some shipping options, but that's an issue I'll take up with corporate not the store. Two thumbs up overall to this location for the excellent customer service and vast amount of shipping supplies they have for those of us who don't have extra boxes, packing tape and styrofoam packing peanuts around our houses. read more

Useless for Notary Public services. Scheduled an appointment two days prior, as a Saturday was my only chance to get documents processed and returned to Los Angeles. Received a confirmation of the appointment in the morning. Notary was a no-show and no contact had been made to reschedule or update so that I could try to arrange other options. I can say quite confidently that UPS as a whole does a really great job as far as the customer service in its UPS Stores. I have yet to walk into one and not receive exemplary customer service, and anyone who knows me knows I am a stickler for customer service. The one I used to go to back home was the same way - they just get that people are fed up with shoddy service and will promptly take their coins elsewhere if need be. I can appreciate a business hat goes beyond for their customers. The UPS Store seems hypertuned to that. The folks at this particular location are so on it that after maybe one or two visits they remember your name. They're prompt, friendly and helpful whenever I have questions. I think this place is managed by a guy named either E Or Ed (I can't remember) and he's doing an excellent job of it. I'll continue using them for my shipping needs just based on my experiences with their customer service. Score in my book. A packege was returned to the sender from Arizona and U PS did not delivered the packege for 3 months ...The packege had my address on it and for same reasons they kept it for 3 months ,didnt delivered it and then they distroyed it .In the packege was an idem of 1100 dollars ! they refuzed to give us any information of where the packege went . just needed a notary on a simple form. Called ahead to confirm. Waited ten minutes for the notary was 'in the back with a customer', which I thought was unlikely and later determined was untrue. Notary strolls in and gives some lame excuse why he can't do what I just 30 minutes ago called to confirm he could. If you can't notarize properly, then don't advertise you can, and I won't waste an hour of my day. Try a different UPS store, these folks are amateurs. read more

They close early. Rushed to get here by 6:30. They were closed, door locked, lights dimmed, counting drawers and refusing to open the door (to take my already packaged and labeled item. I just need a drop box.) at 6:28. They saw me and did the cut off at the neck motion to let me know they had no intention of serving me. I don't expect much from UPS, but not being open during published hours? Super inconvenience. read more

I just walked out of this UPS and had to Yelp about it. This is probably the fourth time I've gone, and the staff is ALWAYS super nice, knowledgable, and helpful. Today I was mailing a projector (seriously) and Emmanuel not only assured that my package would get where it needed to be in plenty of time, provided me with a tracking number, saved me some money by asking if it was a "business to business" shipment, and told me how it would be packaged due to its fragile nature, but he also told me he would package it up himself. Everyone should take the pride in their work that this staff displays on a regular basis. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful staff at this location. Thanks, guys! read more

I hate having to give a bad review but I have never had such a frustrating experience with personnel yet alone the store manager. I came in to send something with the needed instructions and forms and I kept getting told rudely that I was missing a form. How is my fault these people don't know how to run their business.
