Did a happy return for 32 Degrees and it was easy. They scanned the QR code and also the items (in their original packaging). She also inspected that the tags were intact. I requested for a receipt, for tracking. I wish they were able to use the box I brought but they refused it. I was able to be refunded the next day or so. read more

The young kid working at this location is a complete mess (I only saw one employee). Took forever to make ONE photocopy for the customer ahead of me. Then he started walking around like a zombie until finally asking what I needed (mind you I'm the only other customer and I was standing in front of the counter holding two packages)..blank stare. So, I turned over two packages with pre-printed UPS return labels loosely taped and hanging from the top of each package. I do this so the UPS store can place the label in the correct place before shipping. This was Saturday afternoon. Today (Tuesday), I received one of the packages back via UPS...why did this happen? Because Zombie-kid taped the pre-printed UPS label to one side of the package and left the shippers original label (shipped to me) on the other side of the package. DO NOT have them pack anything for you. They have a sign that says they send antiques etc and I trusted them to wrap and send an antique clock that has been in my family for over 30 years. They threw it in a box with minimal bubble wrapping around the sides. It arrived in pieces. They refused to take responsibility because I purchased the shipping online with ups yet I paid for them to wrap it. Lesson learned. Find another store. There are several in the area. One on Lawrence and one on Kedzie. The USPS store on Lincoln and Irving is very reliable. If only it was packed right. read more

I brought in a box to ship, and a USB flash drive with my prepaid shipping label on it (as a PDF). They charge $3.65 to print it out for you. $3.65! For one sheet of paper, that happens to be my bought & paid for shipping label. The FedEx stores I've been to do it for free. This is shameful. I sent my baby shower items from Chicago to Dallas. Upon opening it the items had been repackaged into a totally new box and I was missing some of my gifts. When attempting to file a claim UPS informed me that they were a separate entity than the UPS store where I had dropped off my box. They claimed that I had paid the store not UPS directly therefore the store held responsibility. But I actually paid UPS since we used are own shipping label, I only dropped it off there to be picked up. I then tried with the store and they gave the same response UPS did, I had paid UPS not the store. They gave us a phone number and rushed us out. Anyways now it's a game of pointing fingers. Between the store and UPS. Lesson of the day don't ship through UPS because they can repackage your items and potentially/probably steal your items. read more

YOU thought your holiday shipping was something insanely, stressful and crazy? Please. The fella in front of me spent $600 to next-day air holiday presents to his kids in time for Christmas. No Exaggeration. Certainly made me feel better about, well, not procrastinating, not having kids, and only having to send one teeny-weeny package a million ways away (two-day shipping with confirmation please and thank you). The smiling staff at the counter were the paragon of calm, helpful, graciousness for this poor panicked customer and it was a pleasure to watch them soothe him and make Christmas happen for his kids. Like Santa, but hot, in brown uniform. Can you handle more thoughtful holiday cheer? The fella behind the counter taking the holiday toys for tots donations to the Marine base took a minute to help me out too. So nice. And such a contrast to the post office! Ahem. See, USPS is terribly unreliable, the post offices notoriously filthy, slow, mean and freakishly impolite... the negatives are legendary. UPS on the other hand, is fast, efficient, has excellent service, smooth tracking online, signatures on delivery and good-looking delivery men. This station is always calm, polite, clean, organized. So the TL;DR of this is, Facebook updates are more important than customers. I'm confused what kind of store this really is, it says UPS Store on the sign outside and the employees are wearing UPS Store jackets and hats., But when it comes to actually shipping something with UPS, with a UPS number, I was told they can't. I was in a rush, I didn't have time to run to my go-to UPS store location up on McCormick, and I didn't want to get stuck in the beginning of rush hour traffic. It was early afternoon and all the schools letting out on Kimball. Google points me to the closest location here on Foster. I have a package to ship with my client's UPS number, with no line and two employees in the store it seemed like a no-brainer, and I can get back to my other pressing tasks The young lady is texting on her phone and the young man tells me that UPS stores can't ship UPS packages, I'd either have to pay to use their UPS number or that I would have to go to a UPS drop off location. I wasn't going to argue, this is the first time I've been to this location and now the last, Facebook updates are more important than servicing the business customer wanting to ship. I took my business north another few miles to the UPS Store. 6257 N Mccormick Rd Chicago, where they were able to ship the package with no issues and I wasted the next 45 minutes in traffic driving back to the office. read more

Clean, newish facility. Staff is friendly and efficient. You can drop off UPS and USPS packages at the store. My issue with the place is the store has no parking and it is located on a one way side street that does not allow you to turn off of Foster. Unless you can walk to the facility, not exactly the easiest place to get in and out of. read more

Prompted by a BAD experience at one of the other UPS stores (NORTH AVE AND HARLEM)..I decided that a review for this location was warranted. While the other UPS location wanted to charge me to put ONE roll of tape on the top of the box..this location every time I come in..are always friendly and courteous and QUICK...They will tape something up for you complimentary as long as its not taping the whole box together..Based on the other reviews, I guess I have been lucky as I have always encountered stellar service here... The only reason..for the minus star is that sometimes with the heavy traffic congestion and the fact that they do not have a parking lot..it makes it hard to find parking and access the store...but that is my only complaint which probably has more to do with the City of Chicago than the UPS store...... read more

Being a pet friendly realtor, I really like the fact that the owner brings his black Lab to work with him! Very sweet dog! I sent my package via UPS 3 day. It was actually a few dollars cheaper than the 3 day mail service from the US Post Office would have been. My sister received the package on time as well! I came in to print and ship a document and was treated very unpleasantly by Dan - not sure what his issue was. It was obvious that he and the other person working there are either unhappy or miserable at their job. When I arrived, I was treated rather rudely and I was ironically in a good mood. I was very patient until he continued his unpleasant treatment. I sadly told him off and I paid $3.65 for printing two sheets of black and white paper (unreal). I left without using their shipping service. This store has a management problem. read more

I have been a customer at this location for a long time now. The service I receive from the employees is just extraordinary. I am always satisfied with the kindness, respect, and willingness to go above and beyond for the things I need done. The employees always make sure that I come in and leave with a smile on my face. The services provided here make my life so much easier to get printing, copying and shipping done. The gentlemen that work here are so helpful and kind. They guaranteed delivery for a certain day and I spent a lot of money to get the package there on time. It was a day late. The item was delayed because of weather conditions, which is completely understandable. However, what is not understandable is that A) they did nothing to let me know ahead of time and B)refused to refund any part of the money I paid. That is just not right and it's bad customer service all the way around. I went in and told them what I thought of their policy and they decided to argue with me about it. I will NEVER set foot in their store again and highly recommend that anyone reading this avoid them. Customer service is important and instead of trying to convince me I was "wrong" They should have found a way to make it right. They didn't even try. I am grateful that my UPS Store is taking precautionary measures to protect their customers and themselves during the COVID-19 outbreak. The staff wear masks and the store has installed plastic shields to protect themselves at the registers and they sanitize regularly. They are also insisting on the city's social distancing measures. So if you must leave your home for UPS services, know that this store is being careful. I am appreciative they are still open and working during this time. read more

I have made a lot of color copies here, and it's much cheaper than your typical Office Max or Kinko's. They picked up my generator and shipped it while keeping me posted during blackouts and delays due to conditions in PR. Thank God for this place. This is such a wonderful business! I walked in with a bag of wrapped gifts to ship to my family for the holidays, and Ryan took the items to pack and ship on my behalf. Per my control issues, I was a little nervous about leaving the items to be packed by someone else (what if something was left out of the box?), but it was also refreshing not to have to worry about it.
