The owner Dr Green called me today claiming I never closed a mailbox from 2021. He demanded a $600 close out payment, and when I asked why I was just hearing this he claimed they had been contacting me with no response. I told him this sounded odd and asked for more info and he said he "doesn't have f***ing time for this, he has 20,000 other calls to make today so needed to pay", continually swearing at me and essentially calling me a liar. I sent the text to his personal cell and proved his records were incorrect. He refused an apology for his incredibly rude behavior. It's sad that a business would be okay taking advantage and treating customers this way. This is a sad mark on The UPS brand. read more

Won't take Amazon returns with a QR code because they said their scanners have been "down for weeks" when in reality it seems like they just don't want to take the returns. I also recognized a man that previously worked at a neighboring UPS location (maybe he works at both now) who harassed me at the other location on a different occasion and asked me to hold up the clothes to my body I was returning to Amazon so he could judge if they would fit me or not. It was very inappropriate and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Do not recommend coming here or to the UPS location on California. read more

Went in to ship something today (12/13/24) and Morrell Steve Neely (franchise owner) was working behind the register. I asked if I could ship something and he told me "No, the system is down and probably won't be back up and running until February." I asked "the system has been down a while now, right?" to which he responded "Get out!". I tried to explain that I was just asking and he claimed I was "attacking him". He kept telling me to get out and never come back. As I walked out he also told me to "suck his cock and Trump's too". I wish this was a joke but it's not. I have no idea what is going on at this location but it is super shady. They haven't been able to scan packages for months. Also, I dropped off a prepaid label package 2 weeks ago and it never made it into the system and wasn't picked up. I had to physically walk into the store to inquire. They pointed to a large U-Haul truck parked in front of the store which was apparently stuffed with unshipped packages. That is not normal. This is a UPS store. They refused to search through the truck to find my package. Was tempted to call the cops as this is basically theft. Idk if they are going out of business or what is actually happening, but they are being shady and dishonest with customers. If you ask too many questions they start getting belligerent. So, there is a serious problem with this store. Hopefully they will go out of business but in the meantime don't go in there for anything whatsoever, including dropping of a package with a prepaid label. So very strange. read more

Not an authorized UPS store apparently. Items won't be picked up by UPS. Per neighbors 50/50 whether items are sent out for delivery

I have been taking UPS packages to this location for as long as I can remember. Last week I brought a package there. The two guys working there told me their computers were down but the UPS guy was picking packages up at that end of the day. They suggested I take a picture, which I did to track the package. 24hrs later I went to the store to ask about my package. The guy at the store stated UPS picked it up and there were no packages there. 5 days later the package is nowhere to be found. I called UPS to inquire and the merchant started an investigation. The merchant stated they would review cameras and ask to speak to the driver. Today I spoke to a local UPS driver who told me no one is picking up packages at that location because the new owner has not paid their licensing fee. And so now, I am without a package. There is some sort of scam happening here. read more

My first visit to this UPS Store and I wasn't disappointed. I had to get a package shipped out. So, this was the closest UPS Store to my house. The minute I walked inside I was greeted with warm friendly faces. This is the first UPS Store that I have been into that plays music. It fits this location very well. I looked around and noticed how each of the guys were interacting with their customers. Give them full attention. Zachary was awesome. His upbeat personality made me feel appreciated. Very professional and went above and beyond to make sure he met my expectations. Way To Go Zachary. He was even so kind to put some extra taping on my package to ensure that it was securely sealed. I was quite impress with my first experience at this UPS Store. Fast efficient and Great Customer Service. The only thing is the parking is too small. You have to be super careful when entering and exiting into this parking lot. read more

this review is long overdue.... I moved back to MA after 10 years in the city and had a lot of expensive bath and cosmetics that needed to be shipped. I unconvincingly tried to assure the staff of my safe pre-packaging of the products as they moved the boxes to the back room. I stressed that I didn't care if the boxes didn't make it intact, I just needed out!, and I'd done the best on my end to protect the contents. They looked skeptical as to my packaging job, but were so kind and helpful during our interaction regardless. A few days after I returned home to MA my boxes came, and to my delight the staff had thoughtfully bolstered the boxes with EXTRA bubble wrap and protection. WHAT! I was so relieved! It would have cost me extra money, and I truly had neither the funds or the time to do that job myself before shipping. A lot of people end up with damaged products as a result of careless shipping and handling. Not me! And its THANKS to the staff at this location--they truly cared. So sorry for the delay guys but I remember! You're so thoughtful!! read more

Another UPS store in the west town area that is too cheap to tape 1 box for you. Already printed the label myself. I refuse to accept this level of service.... It's your job to ship. Why nickel and dime customers and force them to buy tape? The ups on Clybourn and Cortland will tape everything and has the friendliest staff so I recommend everyone go there. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but when your time is wasted and you don't get an apology you feel like you have no choice. I called the store earlier in the day and asked if they had notary services. They said they did but only between 11 am and 4 pm. I repeated the times they told me just to confirm and then set out to find my business partner to meet me there at 1 pm (between 11 am and 4 pm). After we switched somethings round on both of our schedules, my partner and I met at this UPS Store at 1 pm. When we asked for a notary we were told the notary was on a lunch break. I told them I had called the store and I was told notary services were available between 11 am and 4 pm. The clerk started giggling and said, "yeah, between 11 am and 4 pm...when they are not on a lunch break." We didn't have the time to wait around so we had to find a notary somewhere else. As other reviewers have mentioned, the employees are friendly (as in the "hey bud, I'm so hiiiiiigh!" friendly). However, the owner is downright rude and has demonstrated, what I consider to be, misogynistic attitudes towards women. The first clue was while I was waiting in line, he loudly berated an employee who was asking how to price some materials. But he doesn't just talk this way to employees, he is condescending to customers when if they dare question prices or services -- like they are stupid to not understand that he can charge more than regular UPS rates because his rent is expensive. As alluded to above, this is a turn-key franchise. So yes, he can charge his own "fees". But when customers call him out on the price discrepancies he aggressively responds that they don't understand business or the economy... well, if you're operating a neighborhood business and residents will go out of their way to go to another UPS store, then you're the one that probably doesn't understand something about being a small business. Yeah, he got a convenient location so he feels entitled to be abusive to both customers and staff? I don't think so, I will not support this business. There are many other great UPS access points and stores in the area. read more

these guys are really cool! It's great to have FREE PARKING on this street to get some things done. When I walked in for a laptop to go back, I was already in the system and they had everything else under control. I had asked where the nearest Post Office was to mail letters, they told me to just grab my mail and they will send out with their items. This was great customer service! Not to add that they have more supplies than some of the smaller UPS Stores. read more

I had an Amazon order delivered to this store. I ordered two items a subwoofer and an 8 ft. RCA cable. Amazon delivered the items in separate packages at the same time. When I went to pick the packages up I was charged, as expected for the subwoofer package$ 7.00 . They also then charged me $7.00 for the small cable package which cost $9.99. They will not refund my money. so I will not be using this service again and recommend that others do not. The manager whined about his payroll costs as if the small package charge would have bankrupted them. It's not the $7.00, it's the principle, which they don't have. read more

This place is a pretty convenient and functional UPS store. The staff is always friendly and there's never too long of a line. They take amazon returns which is pretty a nice part of this store. They also offer printing services and all the other basic stuff that UPS stores offer. They sell boxes and packing supplies. Overall, I bring all of my packaging needs here. read more

Recently went to ship a package, and i gave the guy the address i wanted to ship to on the packing slip. He requested i read it out to him even though it was right in front of him. This place charged me close to $150 to ship a bike. That's almost $60 more than if I would have just had UPS pick it up my apartment. I called 1800 Pick UPS about that discrepancy in what I was quoted online and what the UPS store charged. UPS explained they are a franchise and will charge "fees" UPS will not. Pretty Lame. My bike also sat there for 48 hours before it was shipped. The douchebag I spoke with informed me "that's how the economy works" when I asked why I was charged an extra "fuel charge" by their store that UPS itself wasn't charging. Awesome! Owner/manager (didn't really figure out which, don't really give enough of a shit to find out) is a serious asshole. I tried to ship a couple of tiny boxes out and they quoted some ridiculous figure, so I ask if they know of a cheaper way to go about it. The guy I was talking to started lecturing me about how he was running a business, not a charity. All I could think was that I'll never come and support a place run by a greedy idiot. I went to ship a few books and get some passport photos taken. They were going to charge me some astronomical amount for the books so I took them to the post office instead. As for the passport photos, they were way too dark. I checked with the post office to make sure they were light enough and they said no, so I went back to the store to get more some taken. This time they were so light that you can't even see the outline around the pictures. I'm also confused as to why they didn't cut the pictures down to size as opposed to leaving them on a sheet for me to cut. I got the distinct impression that I was bothering the guy who worked there both times I was there. It would be nice to be met with some common courtesy as opposed to feeling like an annoyance. read more

I've been going to this place for years and liken it to the barbershop in the old days. Its not a place you seek out social interaction, but you often leave thinking, wow, that was a fine conversation I just had. Now sometimes they are busy or the fun people have the day off. But for those days there is the free candy dish. They are not the cheapest. If you want cheap, go down the street to the post office at Milwaukee and Ashland in the Jewel/Kmart shopping center. Then wait forever in line and suffer through the mean, unsmiling, slow, staff who really doesn't care if you get your package mailed or not. This was the first bad experience. Usually love this place and recommend regularly. I was in there today explained I had an Amazon return and had never done that here. I was talked down to instead of having it explained. Amazon just said bring it in. So I didn't know anything about a code; on the box, in my account, did I miss something I actually needed to print? Instead of explaining... I was told can't just send it back... i said I didn't ask you too, I was asking for help, which you seem unwilling to provide. Rough attitude and unfriendly. Honestly will never return if I see he is in there and not certain I would recommend. I'm in customer service as well and we all have bad days but I did nothing to be talked to on this manner. Teach me don't intimidate me. If you didn't realize at first, gave you a couple of opportunities to back pedal and not let me walk out the store upset. Could have said misunderstood that you didn't know and explain what I do next. I'm even more upset now writing this. read more

When it came time to pay I realized I left my wallet in my other purse. I apologized and said I would have to come back later. Will, who was helping me, said "No problem, I'll throw it in the bin now so its sure to be picked up with the next shipment coming soon. Just call me later today or tomorrow and you can pay over the phone". Mind officially blown. Seems a bit weird to love a UPS Store, but hell, I love this one. I wandered in one day to buy a box to ship random items (not yet purchased) to the UK. When I explained what I needed shipped ("a large box of Goldfish crackers, Crystal Light, Easy Mac and a few other random US treats), the customer service rep laughed and offered me a box while explaining that although it might be bigger than needed, she could cut it down to the perfect size once it was packed. The box was cheap...and I headed to Dominics to buy goodies for my UK buddy. Two days later, I returned to the store with the box full of treats. The customer service rep weighed the box and said "to tell ya the truth, you'll get a better price if you ship via the usps. I'll cut down the box to the right size, tape it up and give you a customs form though so that you'll have everything you need before you get to the post office." Ummmm, seriously? Thank you awesome honest dude. The post office price was cheaper and service definitely not as nice, so I will be heading to this store for all my future domestic shipping needs. Beyond shipping needs...this store also has bday, anniversary, etc cards. Not lame Hallmark brand, but funny laugh-out-loud kinda stuff! read more

The service at this UPS store is SO stellar, I just had to write them a review! My husband and I have had a band, but alas no printer, for years. This UPS store has been my husbands printing center for all things band-related. He has raved to me about the level of customer service at this particular store on many occasion, and I have had nothing but above-and-beyond experiences myself. They are so nice, helpful, and here's the best part--very sincere. Positive attitudes go a lonnnnnng way! My husband has had so many positive experiences and mentioned Andrew and Nikki (sp?) by name. Seriously, who knows the names of their local UPS guys?! That's how great they are! I just called to see if my package had been delivered to their UPS Access Point, and Andrew was kind enough to search for me.
