Because 0 stars isn't an option, I have to give this place a 1. I dropped off my package on 11/14 to be returned and they didn't process my shipment until 11/19. The store itself is not busy and I don't know why a return package would be sitting in store for 5 days. Bad customer service coming into the store, the workers were rude and unwelcoming. I've been here twice and had bad experiences both times. First time was to send a box out, second time was to buy stamps. Both times I just walked out. Plain and simple, the owner is always in a bad mood and does not understand what friendly, courteous service is. It seems like he's always on tilt, and other posters have written the same thing. I have had previous good experiences with a younger male employee...very friendly and courteous. That all ended today when I drove over in the rain to drop off three packages. I had to wait several minutes for someone to come out after the door chime went off. When the older man came out, he was very rude and just started yelling "Nope! Nope! Nope!" when he saw my boxes with prepaid postal labels. (I was going to ask if they could deal with those or if I needed to take them to the post office, but he started rudely yelling before I could even open my mouth to ask the question.) At that point, I figured I'd just pay to have the post office ship out my other packages since I was going there anyway. Their automated package kiosk is always ready and doesn't have the attitude that this guy did. Moral of the story: Hope the younger guy is there to help you. read more

I haven't Yelp'd in a few years and, while I have been meaning to, I was motivated to return now because of a recent experience I had at this UPS Store. My wife was looking for this particular store for shipping needs and we chuckled at some of the reviews. Admittedly, we read them with a "sucks to be you" smugness thinking that the reviewers were probably being a bit over dramatic when they slammed the owner/workers. Let me just say, our experience there was wonderful. The customer support was as good as it could be. We weren't there to have someone kiss up to us or do our heavy lifting. We just wanted competence and to complete our transaction in as short amount of time as possible. This happened, we're pleased and will definitely use this convenient UPS store often. read more

There is absolutely no way to find another UPS store manager is more grumpy and cold in the entire service industry. Here to return the spectrum unite asked a question and one older man was chewing gum and mumbled something that nobody heard him. During the actual service when it's time to request my signature, he was rushing me up didn't want me to read before signing. Before giving me the receipt, he didn't ask for the ID as the machine requested. The whole experience was horrible, he was acting like everyone was owing him a million dollar. I am sure he hates his job to guts...after seeing these many reviews, I am not surprised, also very sad that UPS has to hire such a grump person to work here in such a beautiful neighborhood... read more

A second day letter packet to Chicago will cost you WELL OVER $20 at this store. They charge $10 per "your" signature on notaries. Needless to say, it'll be wise not to take your escrow papers with some over 100 signatures between a couple of signers. Once, I took a pre-addressed UPS packet to the store. The older gent recognized the item as I was approaching the counter, got it off my hand, scanned it, handed me a receipt and turned around and went back to what he was doing before... while not making a single verbal nor eye contact. Of the few times I went there, the only smile I witnessed from the older gent was on the photo of the wall behind the counter. This is too funny if it were not so sad. I had the old Asian guy today and was sending a box to Direct TV. I was returning equipment. He tells me they cannot do it cause of New Years and something about Wednesday? I did not understand at all and the more he explained it made no sense. So we had no argument, the younger Asian guy takes over and it's processed just fine. I have been here several times and never seen the older Asian guy wether he is an owner or not, but for those of you saying that UPS should intervene are absolutely correct. I don't mind the bad service as much when I stop by to drop off my Amazon packages, but today when I wanted to actually ship something out I realized it's time to give up on this UPS. The workers are incredibly unhelpful... they don't offer assistance or keep an eye out for incoming customers, which just doesn't make sense to me. When the owner finally got around to helping me, he blew off my questions as though I should know what to do and all the answers. Wait, I don't work at UPS, that's his specialty, right? I'm so bothered by their indifference! At least have decent customer service. The owner acted at the same level of rudeness to the woman he helped in the middle of my transaction. They make no effort to help you with what you're coming in for, so if you want to speak with someone for your shipping inquiry, just go to a different UPS or USPS. Below zero stars. Okay, the miserable Asian man who works here is downright rude and mean. When I walked in, he was chewing on food and continued chomping that mouth the entire time that I was there. I (an older female) had Amazon returns and struggled with two large boxes (without his help) and all that he could grunt at me with (food in mouth still) was "Put it here!" (on top of the scale). After I heaved the box up there, he barked (still chewing food), "You need a label!" I handed him a label to scan and he basically brushed me off saying it wasn't enough and moved on to the next customer. Hey dude, this is a customer service business and the only service I got was a mouthful of lip service. At least give me a viable suggestion or explanation for how to return these large boxes after I went through the trouble of dragging them in here. You do this every day and could at the very least offer some type of assistance. I basically told him that he is useless and that he should not speak to customers with a shitload of food in his mouth. He told me not to yell at him. Truth hurts huh? We came here for notary service ($10 per signature) on a weekday late afternoon as a last resort, after being turned away by all of our banks and credit unions. (Same-day notary service for 10+ signatures just doesn't get people going.) The owner was very patient with us while we rifled through our stack of papers looking for X's to sign. Meanwhile, the rest of his staff efficiently handled everyone else's packages going out for the holidays. There were also a lot of regulars coming in, possibly to check their PO boxes, and it seemed like a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I don't know if our visit was an anomaly compared to the other reviewers, but we got what we needed with no complaints. read more

I only came here because it's the closest location to my house. I did a live scan fingerprint and pricing is extremely high and inconsistent with what is listed online. The owner or the gentleman working is quite rude. He didn't explain why the pricing was off and just told me that's the price. I've visited this UPS Store location and I must say my experience has been good when the OWNER is not the one assisting you. The owner is very rude to the customer's that walk into his business. I have visited the store 3 times. My first 2 visits were good because his employees know how to treat customers with respect. The only reason I had to go because Frontier Communications and T-Mobile use UPS when you have to return something you borrowed from these companies. I highly encourage anyone to visit a FedEx location, they have excellent customer service and they handle packages better. I even had my package delivered early to my residence 1-2 days early. I was hesitant to go here after after reading some older reviews. But I was in for a very pleasant surprised when I got there. I was greeted as soon as I got in. Had some docs to be notarized. The owner helped me put himself. When asked about the older reviews, he told me that they are the new owners and management has changed. Amazing service and an even amazing fact is that they are open on Sundays!! This is going to be go-to UPS store for all my shipping & notary needs. read more

This place lacks any customer service at all. I had a email confirmation that a package had been delivered to this store. I called the store to confirm the deliver and was told by the manager/owner it wasn't there and I needed to call another number. I told him I had a tracking number and confirmation number. He hung up on me. When I did go by a few hours later to pick it up - YES IT WAS THERE - The manager/owner offered no apology and had no recollection of hanging up on me. This is a convenient place for shipping UPS, however, expect the owner and the workers to be unfriendly. I use this location a couple times a week, I have to light up the interactions by saying to them "Hi, how are you?" The owner never replies back as if I'm suppose to greet him.
