I had a doozy of a request - my parents forgot their electronics as we rushed to the airport and I needed to get it overnighted to my parents. Joey and James were in the office this day and both immediately jumped to my rescue. Joey made sure to ask permission before touching their items, and talked me through how they would need to safely package things for transport. He quoted out two different scenarios in order to help try and cut costs. James did a fantastic job ensuring things were accurate in the system and then packaging things up. 24 hours later, my parents had all their items completely across the country and were very complimentary of the prompt support the UPS in Cedar Knolls gave. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Cedar Knolls, New Jersey

I find myself at this UPS location fairly often, as it's the closest place to return packages from Amazon! The location is small but they have clear floor markers for a socially distanced line. They also only let in a few customers at once, so if it gets too crowded the line extends outside. Usually the line moves pretty quickly, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you have a package that is sealed and ready to go you can drop it off at a box in the front without having to wait. Overall, it's always a quick and easy experience here. The staff is friendly, and there are proper Covid restrictions put in place. read more

Conveniently located adjacent to Starbucks, the staff here is always friendly and highly motivated to get me in and out of the store quickly and on to other projects, while never failing to remind me that the UPS Store can handle all of my mailbox, shipping, and printing services. Parking in front of the store can be a bit of a hassle due to the limited number of spots but there's plenty of parking on the side and behind the store. read more

This Was my first was my first time at this location. I usually go to the Morristown one and after today I will stick with that. The lady helping me out was not friendly and was just telling me things that I needed to return my package like I knew what she was talking about. I wish she would've been a little more helpful. I left not getting done what I needed to. I'm going to go to the other store where they are kinder and more helpful. Never coming back here again. read more

I've been to a lot of UPS Stores being a commercial customer of 20 years. This is a new store near the Shop Rite in Cedar Knolls. It's the best run UPS I've ever been to. Pleasant people that go out of their way to get you out quickly. Good parking right out front. I'm in and out in a few minutes. They should send some of the other UPS store employees to learn from these guys. read more

I went to this ups store with a pre paid label and shipping tape. I needed a small long box to ship back a small vacuum and planned to package it up and place the bagel on it. They wanted to charge $30 for the box! Just the box. I thought they misunderstood me and I reiterated that I already have a prepaid label and would wrap it up myself. They again told me the box would be $30. UPS is out of their minds for charging a customer this amount. $5 for a box would have been too much. Needless to say I turned around and left. The person behind the counter could not even tell me why ups would charge that amount. Besides that they were a bit rude as well. It is a shame the consumer is always getting the short end of the stick. read more

I used their service for shipping several times and found it convenient and people working there are nice. However, I was surprised today when they charged me for $3.20 to print a shipping label from my USB memory stick. It was free when printing from a QR code in my cell phone. I also use a FedEx store in RT. 10 and printing is less than a dollar. If I knew it would cost that much, I would have printed at the FedEx store and just drop off the shipment. read more

I went to this ups to mail 2 very small swatches to a customer in NYC. The woman brought out a very large envelope and I said don't you have something smaller. She had no reply and then tried to charge me $40+ to mail it. I said no way and was about to walk out. she then said there was a smaller envelope and it would $20 and $4 for the envelope. I reluctantly paid but I will never use this place again. Not sure why people think it's ok to pull one over on a customer especially in today's environment. read more

Have been in this place a few times. Every time has been a great experience. For example today just was a nice encounter. I had UPS and USPS the guy was able to take my USPS packages as well which saved me time. Also the post office down the road I've had a couple bad experiences there. Unfriendly. Impatient. Crass. Though I was told this location was independently owned, the employees should still follow the standard of kindness I am accustomed to exchanging w/United Parcel Service. Most recently, I visited this location to ship a pre-paid package back to G.A. I was given a difficult time because I was comfortable using MY time to wait for a receipt for the package I needed to ship. The 1st employee told me just leave the package on a counter and he would get to it. I informed him that I would like a receipt. He told me my wait would be long because the gentlemen ahead of me had a lot of items. So I should just leave the package. Again, I told him I would like a receipt and I did not mind the wait. A few minutes passed. A 2nd employee walks out from the back of the store. The 1st employee said to me if I need a receipt that bad, I could step up to that employee's window. An unwarranted, attitude-filled comment especially since I was patient and understanding w/the potential wait time. I left this location feeling unwelcome once again. I know pandemics can bring out the worst and the best in people, but the treatment I received today was no different than past experiences.
