I have always ordered from Macys and they never asked for signature upon delivery. But this time they asked for it and there was no way I can be home to sign for the package. After the second attempt I decided to send it to an UPS store. The two guys at the UPS store were extremely helpful and sweet. The two packages were too big for me to carry. They opened the boxes and emptied the contents into a bag, double the bag for stability, taped the opening closed and made a handle for me to carry it easily. All without me lifting a hand. One of them even suggested that I send all my future orders there and pick them up there. Other UPS store that I have gone to were not this friendly and helpful. They provide other services (copy machines, notary public). The place is nicely organized and spacious. read more

Went in here on Monday evening to return two packages. I'm giving two stars not because they were rude to me, but because someone came in after me and they were giving him a bad attitude. It turned me off completely. The staff should at least try to seem a little more happy and be nicer to customers. This place was so depressing. read more

I visited this location to mail a birthday card to CA, for 2 day delivery - price $33???? I asked Leonardo if he can give me large soft envelope since I had a return to ship to Amazon...he said yes and then asked for $3.50???? For a soft envelope, he had like hundreds of them laying around his desk. For such an expensive price, they charge for envelopes now???? I previously had a mailbox at another UPS store and they charged a good premium. After the rental ended, I went to look for another UPS store that was a bit more accommodating. I found this store and am glad I did. The rates were competitively priced and also they have longer store hours than the other store I had previously been with,. I currently rent a mail box from them and also will be looking to use their services for my future shipping needs. Although a new UPS store opened near me, I prefer to go to the one on 39th Avenue especially after reading reviews from people about the Baybridge location. Everyone is courteous and experienced. Even though parking is difficult, I was told to double park, call them, and they would come out and get the package. That is service! read more

I live very near by and always drop off packages at this location for amazon returns, every time I walk in this ups location, I always get friendly greets and the members try to service you at earliest! I've seen too many other ups, fedex (not to mention USPS) the staffs are like living in their own world, never see how long the line out there and just keep chitchatting behind at the back! I had a horrible experience at the bay bridge shopping center ups store. I was waiting half an hour for the guy to pul out the receipt to ship out something and after that he said he couldn't do it. He called the representative from the company I was sending out the package and they were telling him that they created new label and still he wasn't able. At the end the representative told me to go to another ups location to try to do it. I did go to 39 ave and they did it in a second. Of course is very difficult to park there but the people are friendlier and they doing their job instead of being lazy. read more

I've been going to the UPS store for awhile now and have always been super impressed with their helpful, happy. Informative, and overall positive customer service. Last week I walked in requesting help with my 200+ page tenure portfolio that had to be scanned and emailed. My tech skills are terrible and the thought of doing this was terrifying. Bryce came to the rescue! He was amazing! He took control of the situation, gave me great ideas for it to look super professional, and within 30 minutes I was out the door. I went to another ups store in flushing and had a horrible experience. I ended up going to this one and first off it is much larger and not a hole in the wall like the one in Flushing. Second they were more than happy to help me and also put the label on the package. They were very professional and helped me as soon as I walked into the place instead of waiting 5 minutes like I did at the one in Flushing. This is the best one in the area and I would recommend this one to everyone. read more

I've dropped off pre-paid packages with this place a few times and every time left without problems. The staff seemed on the ball, courteous, and diligent. I got a tracking and acceptance receipt every time and service was fast. Street-side parking not that great depending on time of day, but not really an issue with the store itself. I'm not sure if this is standard but the Bell Blvd UPS store charges $2.00 to print out an email label. They also charge for a strip of tape for your package. Not even USPS charges for tape.. I feel this is extremely petty when it comes to customer service. The last time I went, I left my tape for others to use if needed. The parking takes longer than the actual visit at the store. In my experience, the Little Neck and Great Neck location has never charged for printing of the email label or a strip of tape needed to close up a standard 8x5 box. Employees are nice though. read more

Great customer service and incredible bubble wrapping skills. They tend to go above and beyond whenever I bring an item in. I have sent extremely fragile merchandise and my packages ALWAYS arrive in the same condition they leave the store in. I will continue to come to this location anytime I need to send a package. I was visiting my folks last Sept., and had some paintings I inherited, that I was meaning to take back with me to California. I figured I would be able to carry them with me on the plane. But once I had wrapped them up, it was evident that these would never be allowed as carry-on items (too large), and there was no way I was gonna check them in and risk having them damaged, which they surely would have been. So, UPS Store to the rescue! Their Pack n Ship service was WELL worth the extra money for the convenience and peace of mind. The staff handled everything, all I did was hand over the paintings, give them my shipping info, and pay. Quick and painless. They did such a pro wrapping job that I think even if the package got kicked across the USA, my paintings would have STILL arrived OK. I received the package a week later in perfect condition using their Ground service. Such a good experience, that I had another painting packed and shipped to me last week with the same result. I would trust them with packing any fragile items. Not cheap, but like I said, well worth the peace of mind, and not having the hassle of buying special shipping supplies and packing it yourself. read more

My Mom died and I had an huge cedar chest filled with pictures and fragile glass items, 100 lbs worth to be shipped from NY to Las Vegas. The guys at this location did such a great job packing everything in bubble wrap, they went through every piece of it and packed it appropriately. It came in about a week and in perfect condition! I would have been heartbroken if anything was damaged.....nothing was. read more
