When we had our Passport photos taken here, they were patient and had fun with my 2 year old while trying to get him to make a neutral face for the photo. UPS isn't perfect, but this particular store is run very well by kind people.

In NYS it's illegal to charge more than $2 to notarize a document unless it's a remote notary (which is not what this was). I mentioned to her that I was also a notary & knew the laws & regulations, so instead of doing the right thing & accepting my $2 payment, she ripped up the document, so now I have to go back home and reprint the document in hopes of finding someone today to sign it. This nonsense that she replies with on her Google & Yelp reviews about this being a service or convenience fee -- you can't charge an additional fee on a notary service! "A notary public may charge a fee of $2.00 for administering an oath or affirmation or for taking an acknowledgment or proof of execution. UNLESS OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED BY LAW, A NOTARIAL FEE MAY NOT EXCEED THIS AMOUNT." Every lawyer I've spoken to has conquered that is 100% illegal to charge additional fees. I get it, running a business is expensive and it can take years to actually turn a profit. But that's just part of owning a business. I have reported this person to the NYS department of licensing services and the Secretary of State. I also spoke to the library director who said she had no idea and will tell her staff to stop recommending this business. Being a notary is a public service and we agree to abide by certain rules & regulations. To take advantage of that role for monetary purposes is morally wrong.

I requested to deal directly with Ron Robinson whom is the owner to address my concern. I left my name and number for him because I would really like a call back. We worked with Rafael (i believe) and he helped us for over an hour and over two days emailing, chatting and just keeping the good vibes going as we delt with this annoying task. He was helpful, kind and patient. This wasn't even an expensive print job but we had the best quality. I am planning on doing all of my wedding stationary with this location and am super greatful that they could help us with a last minute print job distaster.

I have also helped my husband drop off multiple packages for the company he worked for at the time and there has never been a problem, even with up to 8 boxes already labeled to ship out, the interaction is under a minute. If you don't want to wait they also have a station in the front end of their store where you can scan a pre-labeled box and put it in the container they have.
