I have sent packages from here and gotten passport photos taken, and had a great experience every time. The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly. When we had our Passport photos taken here, they were patient and had fun with my 2 year old while trying to get him to make a neutral face for the photo. UPS isn't perfect, but this particular store is run very well by kind people. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this local UPS store! The longest I have ever had to wait on line is a few minutes. They try to move folks through quickly and smoothly. I typically do my amazon returns here so I am well prepared with my bar code but they have also helped me with shipping personal goods to friends or using their printer. I find the managers I have dealt with there to be very useful and friendly. They are customer service focused and seem to care about their roles and helping people. I might be a little biased as I live close by but this is definitely a good spot to go to for shipping! The also have a notary and take passport photos. read more

Notary Public ~ Yes! Was happy to hear that this location has a notary public onsite. Typically I would go to the bank and get this done, but with all that's shut down currently [Covid19] was excited that I could still get my very needed signature and stamp for important document before the due date deadline. The store was clean, tighty and even had boxes set up at counter to keep us properly socially distancing. The associate was very kind, quick and efficient. Getting this service done here is at a cost verse no cost at your personal bank, but in a crunch with a timeline looming, $2 fee is very minimal and totally worth it. I'm totally going to keep them in mind for future notary needs, as well as all their fabulous shipping options. read more

Brought items for a care package to be packed and shipped, paid for both services, unfortunately they chose to just shove in a box with no bubble wrap around a glass jar. It broke during shipping. Do not trust them to package things correctly, I pointed out 3 times there was a glass jar that needed to be wrapped, but the didn't do it. They are making it difficult to be reimbursed for a very small claim, can't imagine trying to deal with them for damages to something of significant value. read more

I always had good experiences using UPS until this one instance: I was injured and unable to attend my cousins bridal shower in PA so a week before the shower my mom takes my package that I was supposed to bring with me to PA to the UPS store to ship to my aunt for the shower. The package contained $166 of table cloths and table runners. A few days before the shower I'm told the package is missing and untraceable. My aunt even called UPS headquarters in her town and was on the phone with them for 2 hours being told the tracking number we received isn't even a real tracking number. My aunt then had to last minute go out and rent $230 worth of table cloths for my cousins bridal shower bc they were never delivered. A claim is set up 2 weeks or so later. I am then told that I can only be reimbursed $100 bc that was the declared value on the package - my mom didn't know the value of what was in the box and I was physically unable to ship it myself. After speaking with SO many people and given SO many different numbers to call I am being refused the total amounts of the contents of the box and the fee my aunt had to incur as a result of their error. I am so upset that a company I have used so many times and has always been helpful in the past will NOT admit their errors and reimburse us for THEIR mistake I will say that everyone I have spoken to has been very nice and understanding, but no one is willing to correct this. I've dropped off textbooks to return to Chegg and Amazon here half a dozen times throughout my college career. The people working the desk are always kind and know what they are doing. They just scanned my boxes and printed a confirmation slip for me. It can be hard finding parking in the area or even getting to the store if you're coming from the other side of sunrise highway. This place is the best shipping and package store in the area. One cannot say the same for the FedEx Office store in Lynbrook. Unlike FedEx, UPS operates most efficiently and has very helpful associates. Great with customer service and packaging so that you can get in & out quickly. read more

Jose is the man!!! Extremely efficient, professional, and got everything done in a timely manner. He was also able to answer every and any question I had. Amazing personality, definitely someone i would want to represent my business. The Store is great as well, maybe a tad on the messy side. I have been avoiding stores lately but I was surprisingly shocked when I didn't have to wait on line at the Rockville center UPS Store. The service was impeccable and super quick. I had four separate shipments that needed to be packed and shipped to my sisters across the country. I was in the store for all of 10 minutes! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming but I must say, Jose is a true asset to the store. He was taking care of everyone in some fashion while diligently taking care of me. I purchased a Hammock with a stand and padding from Brookstone - long story short it didn't work out and I had to return it. It came in 5 different boxes - 2 of them "oversized". I had to return the items to Brookstone because they do not accept returns of "oversized" items. Brookstone however was nice enough to e-mail me all the return shipping labels and all I had to do was drop the items off at UPS and they boxed everything up for me and attached the labels to the boxes. (I of course had already thrown out all of the original boxes) - so it cost be about $30 in boxes/shipping material but it was well worth it because I literally had to do nothing but drop the items off. I highly recommend the RVC UPS Store! read more

Great service, parking is tuff at times great staff.

I was dropping off a box for my mother who is handicapped at the ups store in RVC on Tuesday. I was with my mother and my 4 year old son and parked in the handicapped spot in the side parking lot, leaving my mother in the car. I was in the store for maybe a full minute. Upon exiting the store a man sitting in a car said "you know this is a private lot?". I said "I just dropped a package at the UPS Store and my mother is handicapped. Is there a problem?". He replied "your attitude is the problem". Apparently he didn't like being challenged by me to why was he asking me what I was doing there. I said "do you work at the UPS store?". He said "I'm the owner". I then told him "well you won't be getting any business from me anymore". He said "good, drive to freeport". My 4 year old asked me "why is that man mad at you?". I just told my son that some people don't have manners. I have no problem driving 2 towns over or 10 to avoid giving this man a stitch of my business. I have been in customer service my entire life and I can not imagine being so rude to a customer. read more
