Staff is very friendly and they do try to help you as much as possible. The only complaint is that people ask dumb questions that hold up the line for which they have and answer to. For example, a customer asked the Postal worker how come I got back 2 original copies of my birth certificate when I submitted my passport application...? (Maybe cause you mailed both, and they mailed you back any originals they received..? lol). Parking on street or across there's a lot for the shopping strip. Post office is small, but gets the job done for your mailing needs or passport services. read more

This location is pretty good. There isn't usually parking available in front, but sometimes you get lucky. You can park in the lot across the street for an hour until they will ticket your car. I spoke to the local business's, and the attendant to verify this. The signs they have posted are meant to be scary to deter people from parking there too long. The lines at the post office are sometimes long, but the lines moves pretty fast, and the people working there are competent, and helpful. There are lots of PO box's available on the left side. Overall no major complaints with this location, it's a very good post office, and seems well run. read more

On December 9, 2023, I was at this post office to renew a passport for my son, before going there, I called and the lady told me that this post office would accept walk in application. So, I went and arrived at the location, at that time there were three people were in front of me waiting, by the time it was my turn there were three people behind me. When it was my turn, I went up to this postal worker, he is white man with all white hair color, I said I want to renew the passport for my son, he looked at me and said I can not help you now, you have to come back in an hour or two later, I was shocked and asked why, he said he is busy and need to help the others behind me first, I was thinking, what is wrong with this government employee, refusing to serve me despite my pleas.. so, I had to wait and wait, then came back an hour later and eventually helped by another postal employee, and it took only like 5 minutes to process my application. I paid money for the service, and why I had to wait so long, the only explanation to me was that I was treated unfairly because I am Asian American? but I paid like all others waited online. The manager of this post office should look into this unfair treatment of a U.S citizen........ read more

Darrel is amazing! I paid for overnight delivery from Fl to this post office... the package arrived a day late (which was not this PO's fault!) but when the person picking up my package arrived... they did not give him MY overnight package?! I called this location hoping to get an actual human instead of automated at 1-800 # and I get so much better!! I got Darrel!! He was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help me find a solution! He went above & beyond because he understood this was an important package to get me a birth certificate quickly! Without his help I would not have gotten it turned around in time and it would have been DEVASTATING (You may have read my review at the town of North Hempstead county clerks office! lol) a million thanks Darrel ! read more

My ONLY go to post office when I need to renew or get a passport for my ever growing brood! Virtually no lines + Open on Saturdays + Photos on site = happy passport applicant! And the staff here actually seem to like what they do, actually like people and actually genuinely want to help. Plus they are a short walk from the LIRR so it's even easy to get to without a car! read more

I love this post office and I am actually proud of it being a Manhasset resident lol. They have the shorter lines and reasonable hours compared to nearby post offices. The staff are friendly and usually have a smile on their faces. I only had one issue with this post office which was trying to get passport pictures. I called ahead of time and they gave me the hours available to take pictures. When I arrived they said that their camera isn't working. Why couldn't they tell me that when I called ahead of time so I don't waste a trip? Anyways, they are otherwise solid for all of your typical post office needs. read more

Although this was a 25 minute drive from my home and there are other post offices around me, I am glad that I came to this one. The workers are very friendly and patient. I love the US Post Office, they offer quality service at affordable prices. Does it get busy sometimes, and could they be open a bit later on weekdays and Saturdays sure. But they are reasonably priced and they actually delivery on Saturdays, Standard! UPS will not deliver on Sat unless you pay a steep fee. The US Post office blows away UPS in every way. For Amazon prime they even deliver on Sunday's, UPS will not even acknowledge that Sunday's exist. read more
