I mostly use it to make Amazon returns, but I do see others shipping and picking up items from their boxes.. They are efficient and friendly. Need to use street parking which works out ok. They changed ownership a few years ago and it has improved from one star to five. read more

As I entered the store, no one was there at the front. After 10 minutes, the owner came out. I explained that I didn't have tape for the package and kindly asked if he could tape it. He already seemed agitated and began to rush me to hurry up and give him the package. Once finished scanning and giving the receipt he proceeded to fling my fragile package aggressively to the pile of boxes. He was beyond rude! I don't expect the customer service to be amazing for a shipping center but his unprovoked aggression was unacceptable. read more

Went to return an Amazon package. I didn't tape the top of the box. "He said no worries, next time". Then he didn't want to give me a receipt. So I insisted. Now all of a sudden he wants to charge me a dollar. Same guy that is pictured in the reviews on Google. How does this guy even still have a store. You're not always going to be the center of attention. it's not always about you. Not every store owner need to smile at you and ask how your dog is doing. You don't know what's going on in their lives. What, they have to kowtow to you every time you saunter into the place? Not smiling is a cultural norm in many parts of the world. The Russians say "Only fools smile without a reason." We in the U.S. flash phony smiles and ask "how are you?" and say "have a nice day" when we don't really feel good or give a crap about the person we're talking to. We often use "sir" and "ma'am" to preface or end a rude, snarky, or mean comment, statement, or question. I went in there for the first time ever last week. The lady was helpful and attentive. Her English wasn't great, but I bet she speaks English a million times better than you speak her language. Oh, and get vaccinated and wear a correct mask correctly. I order a lot of stuff from Amazon. I also return a lot of stuff to Amazon. This UPS store is convenient drop-off for all my returns. I also accumulate a lot of packaging air pillows and bubble wraps, which this store accepts. Mr. Kim is the owner. He is a man of few words, but he is very efficient. I'm always in and out of the store quickly. Mr. Kim also does notary service, which came in very handy on several occasions when I needed some documents to be notarized. This UPS store is an excellent place for all your parcel shipping needs! read more

Can someone please teach the one solo guy in the UPS store some manners? I'm in there almost everyday and say hello.. yet he doesn't acknowledge anyone who walks in the store or respond to questions/greetings. I don't understand.. originally I thought there was a language barrier but I was proven wrong after I witnessed him speaking with a relative or friend recently. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Visiting this store was one of the worst things I've ever experienced... but after reading other's reviews, it makes sense. I came in to return an amazon package and kindly asked the man that was working to scan the barcode on my phone. Not only was I completely ignored, but when this man decided to speak, he began screaming at me and told me that they do not accept Amazon returns and that I would need to purchase a box for $80 if I'd like to return it. I showed him the exact wording from Amazon that says returns are free to UPS locations and that there is no box needed. He began ignoring me again and serving other customers. I told him that this is unacceptable and that he needs to understand that there is an agreement between Amazon and UPS. At this point, he began shrieking saying "GET OUT OF MY STORE RIGHT NOW. GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT". This man then had the nerve to THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME. At that point I was in pure shock and decided to leave. He is clearly unwell and an awful human being- I am still trying to find a way to make a formal complaint to UPS. I have never been so disgusted with someone in customer service- this place needs a new owner asap. read more

Rude rude rude. Completely unprofessional. The scanner could not read the barcode and he refused to accept it. After I told him about the tracking number on the box that he could type in he basically threw the 3 boxes to the side and said "Fine.. You read" I read them... It worked and was entered...and the attitude continued till we ... Conversed at a high volume. Then he tells me he won't accept them anymore. I left... We'll see if he ships them. Looking like a continued not great experience with this UPS. My normal experience is great with other locations and I like that they're everywhere. This one sucked! read more

Not only was the store attendant slow to come assist me when I arrived, but he also tried to charge me extra money to provide a UPS envelope when I already had a label paid for and ready to use. I've never had a UPS store try to charge me extra money for the use of one of their envelopes. Very disappointing and UPS should be aware of this. read more

This owner of the store or whomever worked there is the worse! I went there today and opened the door because of lugged a heavy packaged in. He yelled at me for leaving the door open I mean yelled. After he found out that I had an amazon drop off he said in the rudest tone I'd "there's anything I need" I have never been spoken like this in any store or restaurant. I'm writing this review while waiting at the UPS store on Plandome Road in Manhasset. The owner/operator/sole employee at the store works excruciatingly S-L-O-W and with a bad attitude to boot! I've been to this store many times and not once has this owner/operator greeted me or been courteous. I intentionally said "thank you, have a nice day" every single visit and not once has the owner ever replied. He just grunts and ignores me. This has been the worst UPS store I have ever been to. The man behind the counter (I have only seen one employee working behind the counter since I started coming here three months ago when I moved into the neighborhood) is extremely rude. I have never once been greeted by him. He does not talk he does not say thank you, he does not say can I help you, he does not say hello. I greet him every time I walk in the door and he never responds. Today was my last time coming in not only did he ignore me once again but this time he threw my receipt on the counter.
