My frustration is immense right now with Apple. I had decided to purchase a new M2 MacBook Pro and decided to trade in my old MacBook Air from 2019: The proximate value I was supposed to receive was around $450, However the actual amount I received was $350. When I contacted Apple to complain about this issue I was directed to the fine print which read " Apple reserves the right to change trade in value". The worst part of this messed up situation and bad customer service is that I would've never ever decided to trade in my old MacBook Air if I knew the trade-in value was going to be this low. There is no reason for there to be such deceptive practices from a company that's worth $3 trillion. Apart from this major issue however, sending in the MacBook Air was a breeze and Apple had sent a box with a prepaid FedEx label and compartments for the MacBook Air to fit in so that it would not be damaged in transit. I was provided this location over the phone from Apple's customer service as a place I can drop off my parcel. The staff help me out and accepted the package. However it still baffles me that Apple can change its trade-in value so loosely. My mother is a Samsung person and she had had her trade in for the S22 Ultra, she traded in her old S10 Plus. She was stated to receive $500 and that was the exact amount and Samsung gave her. Samsung did not try to swindle her like Apple did to me. And that's how a company should behave both of them are trillion dollar companies and should treat their customers in that way. It loses customer trust even if your product is absolutely amazing like the M2 MacBook Pro. Ironically however both Apple and Samsung use FedEx so my mother also had to use this place to drop off her phone. So at least I don't think that they reduced amount of value and receiving is due to FedEx. I hope that's not the case. Overall I just wanted to write this warning for anyone working with trade-ins with Apple. So that they know that they could potentially receive a reduced value than what they're promised and hence if they're planning on selling the product on eBay or Amazon or something it might be cheaper just to do that. Because if I just sold my MacBook Air on eBay I would've received at least 200 more dollars. I strongly regret not doing so read more

I get so frustrated with on my returns it's one of the reasons I hate online shopping on a whole. When you have to return something at a store it's very simple you just go in and you say you want to return it. I don't have to deal with any of this nonsense. Given I'm a college student I'm always getting books in the mail and different things I need from my schoolwork like my new laptop. It becomes increasingly frustrating when I have returns where I have a lack of familiarity aka anything that is not amazon. I had ordered textbooks from my biology class but I didn't wanna spend the exorbitant $240 in total for both books. So I just decided to rent them each for in total about $50 for the semester. At the end of it Chegg gave me a label. The only issue was that it was not a UPS label. I am completely unfamiliar with using FedEx and there is a UPS store right next to my home so I'm just used to going there. But finally I decide to just put it into Apple maps that I found this place. I dropped off my book and received my confirmation. It wasn't as hard as I thought so I'll probably be getting more textbooks from Chegg going forward. What you should know about online returns is that you always need to do a research on how the returns happen. I find myself frequently sending out packages for work and it can be a hassle to find a proper place to drop them off and I don't really feel good using FedEx drop boxes because there isn't a receipt that you receive. There is essentially no proof that you are actually dropping off a package. If FedEx can make a digital system with a box actually tracks you and allows you a touchscreen panel to Scan in your passages. While also printing you out a receipt, it becomes a more reasonable place to drop it off but I still wouldn't feel fully safe for it. I wanna give it to a physical person whether a driver or an employee at a ShipCenter like this. It gives me a little bit of relief to know that it's going through an actual person that I can see rather than just leaving it in an unintended space. I've used this place to also drop off envelopes and they go out the next day as long as it's before 6 PM. if you have a FedEx account you can also order packaging directly to your house so you don't have to constantly ask for an envelope when you have documents that you need to send out. You can simply just attach the label at home and then just drop it here in a pinch and it save a bit of time. read more

I make homemade art pieces which I sell on eBay and Etsy. It's a fun process and being able to use the prepaid FedEx labels on eBay are a huge boost. FedEx has this location near my home and I can easily drop off here. I would suggest artists that are going through the process of selling their works online to avoid Amazon starting out with because Amazon charges a high subscription cost and they also take a large cut of all your profits. You should only create an Amazon once you feel confident enough in selling it works and know that there is a demand in it. Meanwhile in comparison eBay allows for you to have an account as a seller without paying a subscription, and the same applies to Etsy. Between the 3 however Etsy is by far the easiest to use. The interface is so intuitive and you can always understand what you're doing very easily unlike with Amazon or eBay which make things increasingly confusing to use. The process of uploading a work of art to sell should be as easy as possible because as an artist you have so many different pieces you want to sell over a period of time and dragging the process out making it hard to upload in the works, is not ideal. read more

I had Wayfare returns which rather annoyed me because they are such large couches that they expect you to deliver to a FedEx facility to return. When the item is so astronomically large is a couch and weighs a ton it should not be something that I have to bring in my van to any location. There should be a free pickup and I should not be forced to deal with it. Despite all my frustrations which were endless with this. I had brought it to a different FedEx location that had told me they had a size limit which was insane because I literally just brought the couch out of my car into the store to be told that. It's fine if you do have a size limit but it should be advertised clearly so that the situation doesn't happen. Both me and my dad had to bring this heavy couch back inside our van. It's so much ridiculous to allow that situation to happen rather than just taking the couches or at the very least one I had already brought inside the store. I had then use Apple Maps to find this location, and thankfully they finally took the package and I was issued a receipt for both couches. I just got out of a troublesome situation with my University wear my school transcript was lost. I had sent it via USPS priority and there was just an entire headache when you sent the package especially a package that is time sensitive, and then it goes lost. I was just simply taken aback by it. Not only did my documents not arrive in a timely manner but I found out that they had lost my documents. So I decided to send FedEx express instead and it arrived the next day and I was free of any sort of headache with it. Luckily I did still make the deadline but that was only through shipping through FedEx and not USPS. I also have lots of textbooks that I rent and then send back through this location using Chegg's labels as well as some other companies because it works rather well. This place is also located in a nice shopping strip where they have an amazing pizza store and Carvel. If you're visiting this FedEx facility I strongly recommend stopping by the pizza place because it is good. If you're looking for a typical FedEx facility this is it, nothing to knock your socks off just a place for you to drop your packages and ship out packages when you need them I had return my MacBook here, because I bought a MacBook Pro. I heard the new M1 variant was a lot more power efficient so I had to try it and I went to trade in my old MacBook Pro on apple.com. They offered me around $400 credit for it so I just jumped up label and they sent package and through the mail. This is a local FedEx ShipCenter in Deer Park. It's perfect for drop off's or sending packages across the country. There are also mailboxes within the facility which can be rented if you are wanting to receive packages here. There are a not as many FedEx places near Deer Park so the location makes it convenient. They also handle product returns from Chegg, and other sources. There is also packaging on sight so if you do not have a FedEx envelope; you can just pick one up from here when you are visiting here. read more

The post office has really long line so that pushes me to come here and it's usually much faster than the alternative in Deer Park but my complaints are that the parking situation in the Deer Hills shopping center can really be packed sometimes especially in the summer I should not have to hustle to get parking and I shouldn't have to park so far away from the building. I had shipped a package to the outskirts of India, a village, Kalap in Uttarakhand and I expected FedEx to reach there sooner than it did. It took over a week. It did eventually reach there yet they had to reschedule delivery because my uncle was not home to sign for the package. It is stupid to require signature when delivering any international package. There's not as many FedEx facilities around Deer Park so this is perfect for dropping off packages for work or if you have to send out any parcel for your own needs. I've had Apple returns that are exclusively FedEx for some reason which is a pain and they can easily go through this location which is decently helpful. Apple should also allow the option for UPS returns but they don't seem to do that right now. read more
