I had to print out my shipping label and Fedex makes it very easy and affordable to do on-demand printing. You email your document to printandgo@fedex.com and after you receive a retrieval code back, simply follow the instructions on the printer kiosk. After printing the label, I began browsing their various boxes for purchase (as my original box was torn up a bit), but the employee let me know that he could easily tape it up and salvage it for me! Not only did he save me some coin, he also made the process super seamless and convenient. He turned what I thought was going to be a slightly stress errand into a 1-2-3 process. When the recipient received the package, he [rightfully] complained about the damage to the expensive device which was clearly the result of very poor packaging. We ended up providing our purchaser with a $125 credit for the damage that occurred to the device we shipped. Manager (and subsequently owner) of the shop took absolutely zero responsibility, refusing the provide a credit for the packaging cost or credit to the purchaser. They insisted that we file a claim with the shipper, which we will not do, because it was clearly horribly packaged and is not related to the shipping of the item. Pakmail can't properly package items. Much worse, though, they can't recognize when they've messed up and make it right. Not worth working with.

Meanwhile, several other employees were standing around on their phones or joking with each other instead of helping. I felt bad for the one woman doing her best to handle an impossible situation by herself. It was disappointing to see such a lack of teamwork. When there's a line that long, everyone should be pitching in to help customers and support their coworker. Instead, it seemed like nobody cared. If Staples is going to accept Amazon returns, they need to staff appropriately or have employees step up when it's busy. This experience was a huge waste of time and left a very poor impression.

Overall, it was a nice experience. It was quick. It wasn't crowded. Check-out was quick. The only…read morenegative thing I would say is that the aisles are not labeled so I had to walk up and down each aisle till I found a copy paper which I thought was reasonably priced.
