Unfortunately automation had had on the computer the package was refused; and the next day it showed delivered to the wrong address to my horror. Ali the Long Beach usps Supervisor, became involved in tracking said package, sending a mail carrier to the wrong address to ask for the package. The tenants denied delivery despite what the usps scanner posted online. ALI Continued his investigation and finally after several days; Ali was able to track down the package on its way back to the seller. Thank you for all your help.

The staff tries their very best to have the lines move quickly and I appreciate that. The each are always kind and friendly. This is definitely my favorite post office. Lines can get long after 1:00 p.m. so be smart. Visit during opening for a good experience.

This location is wildly busy (I frequently walk in to find no line, hurry to pick out a box to ship my package in, and then turn around to find that five other customers also really needed to be at the post office at this time), but the employees work through the lines efficiently. Sometimes there is only one employee serving customers, but I never spend more then 5-10 minutes on a line. No matter what, they're always friendly and courteous! The envelopes, boxes, and other shipping supplies are always in stock in all of the different sizes and options.

Let's take a poll: Would you like the US Mail to be privatized rather than run by the government?…read more Let me help you think through this. The Post Office in Mineola looks old and tired, with a rather depressing appearance that can be quite off-putting. The Postal brick building has an old traditional apperance which fits well in the town. Recently, I have been having issues when it comes to holding mail and forwarding services. The service from government-employed postal workers can also be inconsistent; sometimes good, sometimes not so much. However, the service for ordinary mail packaging was good today. On the other hand, if the mail service were privatized, prices might increase, but the quality of service could improve significantly. For example, I often use UPS stores, which are privately owned, and their service is consistently excellent. However, changing the current system would require an act of Congress. There are substantial legal and political obstacles to privatizing the Postal Service, which makes such a transition complex and challenging.

Anyway, I sent her in by herself and told her to ask for assistance if needed. Well...the clerk was rude and bullying. He dressed her down in front of the other customers. People like this don't realize the harm they do to when they lash out at people with special needs. He should be stuffed into a back office and not be allowed to deal with the general public. When I went inside to check on her, he kind of sort of offered a lame apology. But it will be a bit more difficult for her, confidence-wise, the next time. Thanks, dude.
