When the recipient received the package, he [rightfully] complained about the damage to the expensive device which was clearly the result of very poor packaging. We ended up providing our purchaser with a $125 credit for the damage that occurred to the device we shipped. Manager (and subsequently owner) of the shop took absolutely zero responsibility, refusing the provide a credit for the packaging cost or credit to the purchaser. They insisted that we file a claim with the shipper, which we will not do, because it was clearly horribly packaged and is not related to the shipping of the item. Pakmail can't properly package items. Much worse, though, they can't recognize when they've messed up and make it right. Not worth working with.

These require…read moreme to visit this store at least several times a week, on average, In doing so, I have found the three guys that run this place to exhibit, at least in my view, the ultimate in customer service. Pat, the guy that manages the store and also routinely mans the front counter, is always very upbeat and I find, extremely customer friendly. He is always willing to help those that don't understand the shipping process. There are many repeat customers that are used to bringing in different types of online sales returns, but also those that have not been there before or often and are not aware of what's involved in packing and shipping properly. Pat is always willing to help, and in that way can be very informative as well. He has in the past made labeling suggestions to me that have been very helpful. He is also the location's notary, and is quite adept at streamlining and explaining what's involved and how it works, for those coming in for that, that are unfamiliar. I find at times, in an effort to better serve their customers, when the place gets a longer line, Pat can pick up speed to look to get customers out quicker. Damian, is the epitome of calm, and exudes customer service. He will routinely go out of his way to help people, and seems to have the ability to remain calm and relaxed, no matter what is thrown at him. Quite often I have seen people come to the counter, and after waiting on line, find they can still not locate their shipping label in their phone. Despite the mounting line, where he could just as easily tell the customer to come back when they find it, he will routinely ask the person if they might allow him to help, He then, very efficiently finds the missing label, hands them back their phone, with a shipping receipt and sends them on their way. I can't think of any place I patronize where the staff might show that extra effort and courtesy. Another member of their team, Tim, I have found to be the consummate gentleman as well. He is often there late in the day, and encounters people coming in, minutes before closing, While he is cleaning up to end the day, he will stop to assist the consumer and just return to his closing activities, without rushing them. When I had started leaving this post I noticed that the rating was not as flawless as I had expected. I saw that some were not at this level. In scrolling down I found many that were a decade old and before the revision of the location's operations and the change in staff, and even some meaning to critique other UPS Store locations included here. If you have any reason to need any of their services, of which packing and shipping are just part of many, I personally suggest that you visit this location. I truly believe you will be as satisfied as I have been in the manner I have been treated. Just an aside, people have commented on the difference in pricing between the UPS website and the store counter, as well as the cost of boxes and materials. Many are not aware, each UPS Store is individually owned and incurs its own overhead and payroll costs, hence there are two distinct pricing structures set by UPS. Any consumer is able to print out their own UPS label online, even set up their own UPS account in minutes, afix the label to their own box, and drop it off at the store with no charge for the drop-off, as I do myself.

FedEx is an absolute disgrace…read more We paid $75 for overnight shipping from East Meadow, NY to Clearwater, FL. The package was supposed to arrive Saturday. It didn't. When we called, we were told FedEx's system "mistakenly" scheduled it for Monday. Their error--and they refused to fix it. On Monday, it got worse. They couldn't even locate the package and told me I would have to go pick it up. No one could tell me where it actually was. I was sent from one FedEx location to another, wasting hours, with each location acknowledging the mistake but unable to resolve it. The only reason I even got the package was because someone finally located it at 7 PM the night before I was leaving--making the overnight service we paid for completely meaningless. The local employees were the only bright spot--they tried. The company itself is a failure. Then customer support. I was told to call for a refund due to their failure. Instead, I was passed around repeatedly until I reached someone named Claudia, who gave contradictory information, made things up as she went along, and ultimately refused to issue a credit despite the obvious failure to provide the service we paid for. FedEx lost the package, failed to deliver overnight, forced me to track it down myself, and then refused to take responsibility. This is not a delivery company you can rely on.

They are located next to a Home Depot and have a huge free parking lot that always has a plethora of parking no matter the time of day. Every time I return something from Amazon here, I always end up browsing around and then spend money at Staples haha so they're smart in being a place to accept Amazon returns! My last visit, I found some things on sale and one of the managers (I'm assuming) even stopped to ask if I needed help while I was in the aisle. Upon checking out, he was helping train a new employee and was very patient. I used a coupon that I received after returning my Amazon packages (another bonus for returning packages here!) which was a free hand sanitizer with purchase! The store itself is very organized and clean. Brightly lit with wide aisles and a lot of choices with office supplies and even some home items. I would say their stuff normal priced are a little higher but sometimes they have good sales (online too!). It saves a lot of hassle compared to dealing with missed deliveries or scheduling redeliveries. Inside you will find every kind of office supply imaginable. It is the place I go when I need last minute toner, inkjet cartridges, or even custom stamps. I once had a signature stamp made there and picked it up without issue. Prices are not always the cheapest but what you are paying for is reliability and availability when you need something immediately it is usually there. The only drawback is that the store tends to feel understaffed at times. Depending on the hour you might find yourself waiting a bit for service or to check out.
