Staples closes at 6 pm on Sundays. I came in at 5:30 to try to have some balloons blown up. I asked a worker in the balloon aisle about the cost of this service. He proceeded to ask me how many balloons I had and what the price would be. I said "ok, I can do that." Then he said, "oh, we are about to close so I can't do it now." You can't blow up 6 balloons in half an hour? What a joke. Why not just start with that instead of telling me all that info. Smh. I went to Michael's after that, which was my first choice anyway. I visit Staples mainly for Amazon returns. But while I'm there it doesn't hurt to check out whatever home supplies you may need.

I feel like so often these days I go into a store like the staples and literally everything seems to be out of stock. I came wanting simple index cards Blank, regular index cards. They were out of every kind of index card. All they had in stock was a huge stack of 500 index cards in one package. I went walking down different isles to look for other things. Truly, everything was out of stock. In their card section - out of six variations, one was in stock. This was really frustrating, especially on a Saturday in the middle of February. There's no reason none of the shelves have merchandise. If you want something, you probably won't find the here. Staples near Tricounty off of Hempstead Turnpike. Note (see pix) they now are a "TSA" precheck at this Selected Location. Signs also note: Passport Photos. (TSA requirements are: photo IDs Birth certificate - name change/marriage certificate) There is a fee for the service which they then fingerprint you and you get an email notification when processed. One goes on line and fills out questionnaire- check to see if there is appointment schedules for the location that is visited. This TSA precheck helps at many/ most (but not all ) airports. There is a separate TSA line upon boarding that is to go faster as information is already checked. I did not do this process at this location so some information may differ. I went in to get a card and sealed with 2 copies. I did not ask nor did they say there was any discounts or specials at the print area. The two girls were pleasant enough and it cost me over 11 dollars but it served the purpose. read more

He also saved me money on my shredder because the sale price was still up, so when he checked me out at the register, he honored the sales price. Want to give a big shout out to Emmanuel, the computer technician. Needed to upgrade my Windows from 7 to 10. Not only did he do the upgrade but did a tune up within 4 hours. I have to say he was so courteous, kind and professional and certainly knew computer technology. So pleased with our recent upgrade and would highly recommend him. I stopped in yesterday to get copies made of a document verifying rabies vaccination to get our dog properly licensed but the documentation was emailed to my phone. I was completely ignorant as to how to retrieve the document in order to get it copied but the two people at the copy counter went above and beyond in assisting me with this matter. I wish I would have gotten their names , a young lady and a young man, because they definitely deserve some type of recognition for their exemplary customer service and their knowledge of their job. I really appreciate everything they did and because of them I will be back. They are an asset to your business and more businesses should have employees like them. Levittown location: great parking. I was very sick and under a deadline to get paperwork to my employer to secure my job. Stephanie helped me and was absolutely fantastic. She got everything i needed to do done accurately (scanning, email, faxing). She helped me out big time!!! She was calm & patient with me who was kinda losing it from meds & my jobs deadline that my drs office missed. I can't thank her enough. This is a very professional place who knows their jobs spectacularly. I have used them after this day & ever single employee in the office center knows their job to the tee. Went in today to pick up some paper and have color copies made, which I've never had done at Staples before. The copy center was busy and I thought I'd have a long wait. The line moved quickly, however, and I got to the counter and met Elijah. He worked quickly and professionally. I had a printout but also a pdf in my email. Elijah told me that it would be better to use the pdf, even though it was clear that meant more work for him and there was a line behind me. Over the years, I've grown tired of mediocre, uninterested, ill-mannered workers. Elijah was absolutely wonderful. A great representative of Staples! read more

I always come to staples to print out etsy invitations for various parties that I host, and am usually very pleased with them. Tonight, however the photo attendant who "helped me" Elijah was so unbelievably rude and condescending that I almost walked out of the store. Luckily, I then dealt with the manger who was wonderful and super helpful and was able to print my invites without a problem. I remember normally dealing with someone named Donna Marie, who was also very helpful, but was very disappointed with this new person today. Customer service needs to be taught. read more

I wish I could give negative stars! This store has horrible customer service. After making almost $500 worth of copies, I asked for a box or bag to put them in. I was told by a rude sales associate that I had to purchase the box for $1. It was an used dirty box with address labels ripped off. I asked why they charged for a box. I was told in a very nasty tone because. No other explanation just because. I asked for a new box since I had to pay for it and I was told the sell boxes in the shipping dept. I asked for a manager and a man who I assumed was the manager came over and said its a corporate thing and walked away. I wish there was somewhere else to shop for office supplies but there is not anything close enough. The staff and management do not have to be nice because there is no competition. read more

Woww... today was bad day. Usually copy center at Levittown Staples is very helpful and nice job. I just asked for cutter to cut one to four small passport photo. She brought photo to very far place from counter and cut it for 15-20 minutes under guidance of Elijah who is used to be very helpful. But he was not this time, and his assistant mading busy with that only cutting with fat turtle movement which I can do by myself with a couple of seconds. Then the photos I got were not equally as well. That's all are Elijah's command and I didn't have time to argue with them and wanted to leave from there quickly. Moreover, she did not tell how much it cost ahead and charged me almost 4 bucks, and had me to wait another 5 minutes for receipt with pregnant turtle manner. I was so upset and will not come back there again. I will go Plainview Staples instead. read more

I had Amanda help me in the printing area I was literally there for like two hours and she did everything she could to get me what I needed for my wedding printouts and menus!!! She was so sweet and helped me in every way she could she let me figure out how to work things on the computer to change the font to what i liked and was very patient. My Mac documents were not compatible with Staples but she took her time and eventually got it to work and print out at Staples and when I noticed a mistake she was patient with me as I fixed them. read more
