I've been sending packages and tracked letters through this UPS store for years and have always received very good service. They also do printing and laminating. The store is open six days a week (closed Sundays) with early opening times (currently 8:30) and plenty of parking. Usually little to no wait to be served. I recently returned an old Spectrum cable box there free of charge including packing and tracking - a great deal! Lemme tell you service at the East Meadow UPS Store beats the big Uniondale UPS facility's (with its long slow lines and rude service) by a landslide, and pricing is the same. Last week I was told Amazon returns were no longer accepted an hour before closing today I went in at 3 and was told only 3 Amazon returns per person. When I asked if it was a new policy he said not really a new policy but we enforce it when we are close to Our limit. I would love to know what limit that was. There was no one else in the store and two employees that looked like they didn't want to work. Even the Amazon keyosk was shut down. Never heard of this before. read more

This isn't my go to UPS store since I tend to go to whichever one I'm near and I have a few near me. And I mostly go to drop off Amazon or eBay packages. But I made an appointment on their website for this specific store for notary services. I show up on time and there was a line which was moving fast. I was next when a worker asked what service I was in for and I said notary. She said there wasn't one on staff. I don't understand why have the appointment setup on the website if they do not have someone on staff to fulfill that service. I can understand they probably do not have a lot of requests for notary but don't give the option if you're not gonna provide. read more

I arrived at approximately 2:00-2:10 PM on March 6, 2026 with several items to return. When I approached the counter, a young female employee told me to go directly to the self service machine because she did not have time to scan my returns. I politely told her that I was happy to wait until she was available. At that point, she rolled her eyes, appeared visibly irritated, and continued working while making it clear through her attitude that she did not want to assist me. I calmly asked her if there was a problem, because her reaction felt very inappropriate and unprofessional. Shortly after, another employee, who appeared to be a manager or supervisor, came over. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he also approached with an attitude and spoke to me as if I had done something wrong. I simply explained that I was waiting patiently and had said nothing disrespectful. He eventually said he would help me and began scanning my return items. During the entire interaction he continued to sigh, roll his eyes, suck his teeth, and express visible frustration while assisting me. He also commented that my return codes needed to be larger next time, again in a dismissive tone. Throughout this entire interaction I remained calm, quiet, and respectful. I visit this UPS location regularly to ship and return items and have never had an issue before. However, the behavior and lack of professionalism displayed by both employees today was extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. This was the first time I had ever seen these two employees, and unfortunately it was a very negative experience. New worker by the name of "Alex" with red hair is extremely rude. He kept stopping what he was doing and when i asked him to reprint my receipt and finish helping me because i waited my turn - he snarked and said "that's not my problem". The man at the counter just bold faced lied to me and another customer stating returns using QR codes aren't accepted after 4:15pm on Saturdays and 6pm Monday-Friday.. this is an absolute lie. I even called him out and he stated that this is a UPS rule that is practiced at every location. I have done hundreds of returns and NEVER heard of such a thing. I'm posting another positive review because this is Day 2 of me trying to find my dog and the UPS store coming through in a clutch. I sent Eric, one of the clerks, a file to print so I can post flyers all over my neighborhood and he did it so quickly. He was so nice and understanding and I had no issues with the print quality. He even helped me to resize some of the flyers so I could get the best visibility. I'm a mess right now and just running on autopilot trying to find my dog and am just happy to have people who are willing to help as much as they can. read more

Ran into an issue. Had to print three distinct labels for returns. A mixup occurred when the guy took my phone to scan the first barcode and when it was handed back to me, it was on a different photo saved that had a different barcode for another return. How about not grabbing my phone and using the gun to scan it as I hold it to ensure proper matches for the packages and labels. How about taking your scan gun and scanning the one I give you as I hold my own phone. I said thanks after the transaction and thanks on the way out.... not even a thank you or acknowledgment as I left since he was apparently angry that I got mad when he could not verify the label was the proper one in the first place. Your job is not that difficult. Figure it out Rude and will pass using this one again. read more

I would give this store 0 stars, but Yelp does not give that option. If you need to have something professionally packaged to ensure its safe delivery to its final destination, do NOT entrust the "Certified Packing Experts" at this location. We sold a tv on the Seller market of Amazon. Bought UPS shipping. Brought the tv to the East Meadow UPS store - after all, on the UPS website, it says "We're in the business of making life easier, and the Pack & Ship Guarantee can help you feel more confident about your priority shipments". The tv was subsequently damaged due to major deficiencies in the packaging (per an official UPS investigation/inspection report that we have obtained). We called the UPS store and spoke to the owner. He said that his argument would be that the tv was packaged sufficiently. His own company says otherwise! He pointed us back to Corporate, Corporate pointed us back to him. We have paid over $200 in shipping and packaging costs, and now have to refund the cost of the tv to the Buyer. We are out over $1,000 out of pocket, and no one will take responsibility. Unfortunately, our next course of action will be to report the incident (and all supporting documentation) to the Better Business Bureau. This should have been an easy resolution and instead has caused much undue stress, and hours upon hours on the phone with people not empowered or not willing to assist us. read more
