Have always had a decent experience at this location when making returns with packages, until yesterday, Friday, July 3rd. Had a 3 to 3:30 window appointment for the notary. I arrived 2 minutes late, due to traffic. She insisted that I "reschedule" for another day, since her 3:30 was there and waiting. While I fully understood that her 3:30 client had a right to that time slot, she could've just ask me to wait until she was done with them, and took me afterwards. She was nasty and very unprofessional. Will NEVER go there for notary service again, and I highly recommend going to a reputable place where you're treated with dignity and devoid of smug, rude and unreasonable people like the one at store #5341 on Merrick Boulevard! read more

Staff is always friendly. Sometimes, there's a line outside of the store, but the employees move quickly to get you in and out, except when they have a difficult customer. The best time to go is on a Sunday they open at 11 am and you won't have to put money in the meters. read more

Horrible location to get anything done of real importance. The staff drags and the owner is very unprofessional. Place stinks of weed. Negative star is needed for these types of "business". Please they have released my full name in the reply which has compromised my privacy and safety. Valley Stream location is way better and I will not remove my review because they illegally have retained my information because I've used this business. My son is an online reseller and most of his packages have to be shipped by UPS. We use this location often , most times it's busy but the staff does a good job navigating the line. Several times they have come from behind the register to asked what services customers need and processed returns on the line. We have used them to print shipping labels and buy packaging. The prices for the shipping bags are a little pricey but I don't think the store sets the prices. read more

This is by far the worst customer service experience I have had at any UPS store. Go to the Franklin Square, Rockville Centre, or East Meadow locations. I have been consistently underwhelmed at prior visits by the service but I was told to come in for fingerprinting services AT ANY TIME only to arrive and be told they could not perform the service within one hour of closing because it may take up to two hours. I have had fingerprinting done at this location previously and it took a few minutes at most. I will be taking mu business elsewhere. And the response below references the fact that the other locations do not offer fingerprinting, which is correct but they do offer better customer service which was the overall purpose of this post. read more

Went here to return my Amazon packages, when I got there, the employee told everyone online that was returning Amazon packages to grab a bag, put our products in there and once we get to the scanner, we will scan and print out the return label and then seal the package. I was extremely confused because I thought that was their job, I understand that it is very busy but again that is there a job. That is what they get paid for and are also trained for. I do not care how easy it might be. If it is that busy, then they need to hire more staff. Also, two customers ended up messing up their returns, and one of the employees got frustrated because of that. But like I said again, that is not the customers job. Not a favorite of mine. Service is sloooow and the manager is rude...I will not be going there So. Today is 6/19/19 and I tried to patronize this establishment again. BIG MISTAKE. SAME RUDE AND UNHELPFUL MGR. Looked at me like I was trash. I needed a Notary and she gave me a nasty look and said "the notary closes at 7:30". IT WAS 7:36!!!! I RUSHED from work. SHE IS THE NOTARY! This is a family owned business. Also, if I did not personally know someone who knows the family, I would think it's just me. I came here after being told by a USPS worker that the package that I was trying to ship is a UPS package. I was frustrated. I asked her for the closest UPS and she told me there's one on Merrick and Springfield. Good thing I Yelped it for directions for the easiest route whether it would be by bus or walking. Come to find out it's closed, permanently. I decided to look for another location in my area. It's a quick run down Merrick Blvd. I was in and out under a minute and it was busy. Disappointed that service today was the worse it has ever been. Usually, staff here are on point - quickly processing your orders and getting you out the door. Since COVID however, things have taken a turn. Lines are out the door and service is at the speed of "very, very slow". I am especially annoyed that at the busiest time of the day, training is undertaken and that the trainer was more helpful to the individual she was training than to Customers. What should have taken less than 20 minutes to complete, took over an hour. Don't ask about the prices either, I don't think the most economical price was provided but hey - once bitten, twice shy. I went to send off my iPad the line outside was about 7-9 people. The store had social distancing. My time in the store was short. There were 2 people at the counter checking customers. I went there to print and the only way to print something was to send it to their email, which they charge $2 in addition to paying for the pages. Charging just to send something to the email makes no sense. Then what are the computers for? My print came out badly on their end. I didn't want them because the bad prints were of no use to me and I was told I had to pay for it anyway so I spent money for nothing. Would never come there again. read more

The worst store. Period. Avoid at all cost. They sent my overnight!!! envelope with important documents to a completely different location which now costs me money. Unprofessional staff, takes 30 mins to process 1 customer. Super slow. Hence the huge lines there. Substandard at all levels. Looks like they all are working while asleep there. RATCHET! Bunch of kids working in here don't even have professional appearance. They do however process your packages but noo type of professionalism here. Quick story, so boom They allow certain amount people in at a time. Unbeknownst to me I walked in and some guy was like "wait outside until somebody leave". Customer or not I don't take to aggressive tones so I just stared into his soul until he realized what it was and rephrased his statement in a calm & remorseful tone. I rarely need notary services, but I went to this specific UPS. I politely asked for notary services and was brushed off because the only individual available to notarize documents was on a break. He lacked the professionalism to tell me to my face. He had his co worker tell me to come back in one hour. I understand breaks are necessary for all of us, however; it is absolutely unacceptable that only one person was available to notarize extremely important and time sensitive documents. I came here during the pandemic with several large packages in tow. Online it stated that the store closed at 8pm, I arrived at 7:30 not knowing that their store hours had changed due to Covid and that they were officially closed. The super nice workers there allowed me to come in anyway and could not have been kinder to me! they took care of all my packages and walked me through some hiccups along the way. They were kind, generous with their time and oh so patient. I highly recommend this store and am especially grateful to Brandon and Marcia Phillips for all of their help! read more

There was only one customer in front of us, but someone came over to wait on us. She was very friendly, we were just dropping off a package. I don't think we've ever had such pleasant encounter with staff from any UPS location before. We usually drop items off, but more employees like her would definitely be a huge plus. I went in to this store to ship a camera to a repair shop in Virginia which is the type of mailing I've never done before and therefore I was just a bit nervous about whether or not it would go smoothly. Fortunately I had the privilage to be served by a energetic and very lovely young lady by the name of Sadiyah. First of all, she was serving multiple customers at the same time without making me wait for her for more than a couple of minutes which is the type of work effeciency I hardly ever see. Plus, she was able to explain approximately how long the shipping would take, what kind of things the final price consisted of and she even figured out an appropriate insurance that should be placed on my device based on the value of it. read more

During this horrible COVID situation there are many of us using online ordering and with that comes a lot of returns. If you need to use this location, don't let the long line you see fool you. It moves pretty fast. This location has social distancing practices in place, inside their small store. They did the best they could with their space. Complying with the 6 feet apart edict, there is room for 3 people on line, and 2 or 3 people at the counter. Once inside, the staff members on duty could not have been nicer. Very friendly. After being asked if I already have a UPS label for my package, I did, the woman looked at my package and informed me that it would be 75 cents to use their tape. When I mentioned that other stores I've been to don't charge for tape and would actually box it for you. She replied, we'll that's them. Not having any cash on me, i asked if I could use my debit card, she incredulously replied not for 75 cents. She was happy to see me leave. Great customer service. Supervisor keeps making excuses for him, then they said I wasn't home, which is BS, I' have been home waiting for the package TWO DAYS, they didn't even leave an attempt slip which means they are LYING!!!
