Staff is rude, provides wrong names (most recently Jane), if they dont want to work, they say "wrong address, no one is home or left notice. In the last 10 years, I've meet with a new manager once, who said "I am here to fix the issues, and there are many, please bear with us." He did turn things around while he was there. Recently I had to deal with a delivery issue, and its repetition all over again. "Jane" answered the phone with a horrid attitude, told me to hold and hung up." I contacted their head office, who made a case, which lead to Miss Carter contacting me. Miss Carter was very pleasant and jovial, promised I'd get my package the next day and I promised I'd leave a wonderful review for her service and commitment. I got a visual IVR link for a survey. A survey that is designed to leave out, avoid & not address the post offices accountability, which leads to not giving grateful recognition to the staff that is deserving. This is my reason for my long winded post. Miss Carter, you were wonderful. You are an example of what customer service is. I do hope your head office acknowledges your hard work. She yells at the customers too (no private sector employer would allow this). Another couple of clerks like to find ways to deny you full service unless paying top dollar despite following the rules. If you want to save money and get friendlier service go to another location of USPS. Avoid this location if you can. This location does consistently call by telephone if you complain about issues related to mail getting delayed, not tracking or not getting delivered. This is a positive of this location. They will do this the next day or two if you call 1-800-ASK-USPS first. A supervisor from the branch will call you.

She told the customer before me to wait so he could be next for continued service as they had to verify something. NO PROBLEM! The problem that I have is that I am at the window now tending to my business because it is my turn. She abruptly discontinued the service and explanation with me to talk and tend to the prior customer. She should have finished the explanation with me and take the guy waiting. I was sending a letter overnight. The clerk has an extremely difficult time trying to explain the difference of overnight and express overnight. Monday guaranteed or 4 day no guarantee. I chose Monday. I Stepped off of the line to fill out the form. I get back on the line for her to tell me that the Monday guaranteed won't get there by Monday maybe Tuesday. For $31 plus dollars, I'll go the cheaper route. So that meant I had to get off of the line again and fill out the first form that I had. She was not very knowledgeable. So, the original form was now guaranteed for Monday delivery. She was unintelligible and did not know what she was talking about, trying to give more information than what is needed by starting off with, there is no overnight deliver after 4 o'clock. I will not return here; I will make sure I have enough time to travel elsewhere!
