    They are stealing packages at this location! Do not leave your package without a receipt regar of what the sign says!

    this is the worse experience i've ever had at a P.O. so my…read morewife & i scheduled an appt to get our 8y/o son his passport. i can write a whole report about the completely unprofessional way all THREE employees handled this yesterday, March 09, 2026 but i don't want to lose ppl. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE 2 LADIES whom will do whatever they feel with your documents. i have a NYS govt Issued id which they did not want to honor in completion of my application only because they were unfamiliar with it. they inferred it wasn't a legitimate id card and refused all other id i presented them with when i asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, the lady whom came from the back was annoyed she had to pause her personal phone call to help us and just proceeded to make any excuse why the clerk feels she can't application. they told me to see the clerk, a man who based only on what he heard from the two young ladies told me he cannot complete my application either due to the fact he "is not familiar with this form of id & doesn't know how to verify it" mind you, there's several fields on the application for OTHER forms of id just for situations like this. he totally denied me any help, service or some way to help this situation and not once did he look at any of my documents or id. he totally disregarded based off what his coworker said all without checking himself. he also seemed annoyed he had to come to the front from the back doing absolutely nothing. so my wife and i took our application to a neighboring P.O. with the same & only id i had presented at the Floral Park branch on tulip ave. my application was completed & processed without a problem. These completely unprofessional young ladies at the floral park branch PO are more concerned with keeping up with their social media while working that they give not one F about doing the job they're paid to do. and of this seemed far fetched, read some of the other reviews from this branch on google particularly. they're all consistent with what happened to me yesterday. these ladies don't have proper training in terms of customer service, nor are they familiar with PO policies concerning verifying documents needed for passport applications. i can go on with the totally appalling experience i had yesterday but thank God the ppl at the NHP branch knows what they're doing & was able to help ! God bless them, but please, beware of F Park PO. i hope their district manager sees this. they def need new training so this doesn't happen to anyone else

    Very disappointing experience at this USPS location. The staff member who assisted me was extremely…read morerude and unprofessional. She did not explain things properly and had a very dismissive attitude when I asked questions. When I politely asked for her name, she refused to provide it and instead told me to speak to a supervisor. That level of behavior is unacceptable. Customer service here was one of the worst I've experienced. It felt like helping customers was not a priority at all. USPS should seriously look into improving the attitude and professionalism of staff at this location. I would not given 1 star.

    Earlier this week I called and spoke to a female employee at the NHP USPS who informed me I could…read moreget my fingerprinting done at this location. I confirmed the date and time I would arrive at the post office and received verbal confirmation from a real, live, person that I could do this. I took an Uber to get there because my car was in the auto shop. Upon my arrival, the male employee told me I couldn't get my fingerprints done, despite me having a barcode which indicated they were a USPS location that completes fingerprinting, a printout of my pre-registration, and having called a few days prior to confirm I could do it at this exact day and time. He said the machine "wasn't activated yet," and could not tell me a definitive time it would be fixed by. I asked to speak to the manger, a female employee, who told me that no one would have told me to come this date/time as the machine was broken. I didn't speak to an operator, I spoke to a live female who told me she worked here! Absolutely ridiculous. She refused to do anything to help me, despite me paying for a package a few minutes earlier. She said there was nothing she could do for me and that I'd have to call their supervisor Fran when she was back from vacation. The story changed, of course, and Fran was the only one who could fix the fingerprinting machine... it's not that "it wasn't activated yet." Despite having print outs of my registration, a bar code in my email, and calling beforehand to check, I wasted my time and energy. I will be calling Fran when she gets back from vacation to fix this. Disgusting customer service and attitude from the employees and a lack of willingness to help.
