i live across the street trucks pulling in from 330am on beeping and making noise . mail being constantly delivered to tenants that havent lived there in years. mail left on radiator in lobby. when i mail something it takes 3 weeks and when im mailed an invite i either dont get it or it comes 3 weeks later . everyone at my job got w2 except for me . by far the worse USPS ive ever experienced . laziness and lack of care at its best. I think a complaint should be put to the Manhattan post master in charge of all USPS in nyc. Alot of how our mail is handled is actually illegal. I'm not fond of this post office because they love to give mixed signals. Prior to coming here I did my research to see if an appointment was needed to apply for a new passport. No where on the website does it state that you need one. I thought to myself, "Great!" My hunny decided to take me bright and early Saturday morning. As we get there we notice a sign in the lobby that reads passports by appointment only. Once we walked pass the lobby we noticed another sign that read, "Apply For Passports Here". As confused as we were I stood online and inquired about the signs. It was confirmed that passports are by appointments only. Ugh what a waste of time. read more

I've had problems with this USPS facility in the past, mainly with a certain Letter Carrier who gave my dog a very unfair rating , and gave me a very hard time in getting my mail. That individual has moved on, and has been replaced by mostly younger people who do their job without complaint. I appreciate the efforts of these Letter Carriers in making our deliveries on a daily basis despite the terrible global pandemic that was, until recently, epicentered right here in Queens. I salute the courage and dedication of these fine USPS employees, who have been a lifeline during our self-quarantine here at home since 03/18/2020. I am accordingly increasing my rating by one star, and offer my gratitude for their exemplary and essential service. read more

The whole front end staff at the facility needs to be change. I've been using the PO because I hv no choice. Customer service stinks. Misinformation is prevalent. I had package delivered to mailroom, I came the same day of notification, male clerk told me package is there and with mail person for my area will deliver it and to return next day if not delivered. This post office needs 0 stars if possible. Their customer service is horrendous. I came for a passport appointment. After waiting 1 hour and asking why such a long wait even with an appointment, I was met with super attitude by one of the female postal workers. I was floored and almost gave her good telling off. I'm really beginning to hate this post office. All they do is lie (saying they delivered a package when they never did), now I just found out a package I was waiting on was returned to sender. Screwed up thing is THEY NEVER EVEN DELIVERED IT TO ME OR LEFT A NOTICE and I as I checked the site to see why it was returned they claim it was "undeliverable as addressed". The sender received it back today and I asked her to show me the address she sent it to, and wouldn't you know it was 100% the correct address. Now you all don't know how to read either. Lord how hard is it to do your damn job. Why are you scanning packages as delivered when it's 7:20 pm and I know your ass isn't delivering mail at that time. Understaffed, understaffed, understaffed. Did I mention this place is understaffed. I'm standing on the line at this very moment, and silently contemplating changing my mailing address. I've never experienced lost packages or failures in delivery. But today was an exception, I ordered an expensive coat for my brother, and have been eagerly awaiting it's arrival. THE WORST POST OFFICE EVER! The man that works there in the morning had such a nasty attitude, lacks knowledge on the prices and fees for shipments, typed the address up wrong, slowest worker there, and obviously hates his job. When asking questions he didn't know he got an attitude and talked down to me as if I was beneath him. I understand this is the holiday time and it can become overwhelming working in that environment but don't take it out on me. I have mail in my mailbox since Thursday, December 6 that is NOT mine. Left it sticking up in mailbox with a post it stating it is NOT mine. Here it is December 11 and it is still in my mailbox. The postal carrier keeps shoving it in the box along with the new mail. I was trying to call the Queens Village post office to tell them and I am now waiting on the line for 2 hours and 16 minutes as all the customer service representatives are busy assisting other people. If I could give it zero stars I would. The worst post office in America! So many times I've orders so many things that were just dropped off in front of my apartment door and got stolen. The mailman never leaves a note for me to go to the post office to pick up the package, he just leaves it there for anyone to steal. I have reported them again and again and nothing happens. Today I was expecting a package and never got a ring or knock on my door. My next door neighbor was kind enough to knock on my door and tell me there was a package for me just sitting there in the lobby near the mailboxes for anyone to steal. This is one of the worst post offices that I have ever visited. I will drive to Bayside, Great Neck or even Oakland Gardens. If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. I guess it earns one star because it is nearby, a main branch and it is open until 5pm. Other than that, avoid this post office if you can. The customer service is terrible, the employees, including the manager are rude and incompetent. The postal workers who work for this branch are thieves and apparently cannot read. Packages go missing, are not delivered, lost, stolen, delivered to the wrong address (repeatedly) and the branch manager do nothing about this and blame the customer! The said thing is that I actually love the post office and they are vital need. However, because of this branch, I wish the Post Office would go bankrupt. I have put a call out to the news networks, but they seem to only care if a worker goes postal. I will try and direct my complaints to the Post Master General, but they don't seem to care either. I only come to this post office because they are opened until 4 PM on Saturdays and the one closer to me doesn't open on Saturday. Every time I come here I've dealt with very long lines and poor service. I once paid for expedited service of my passport here and they lost it. They have a parking lot but it's very small and hard to get around. This is a convenient post office time wise but that's about it. I want to give this place 0 stars but there isn't an option. 3 Days my girlfriend has been waiting for a package and they haven't delivered. Now they are saying that they can't find the package. A gentleman named Tapas doesn't have a care in the world about what's going on or even how to help people with there packages. This is the worst Post office that I've ever been to. I don't know where management is in here. There's only one employee who actually works here, and it's a guy(I'm not sure of his name, but he's usually at the second window. The rest just do whatever they want. An employee was fixing envelopes while there were about twenty customers on the line. The wait to receive service is about forty minutes or more on an early morning Monday, so I can't imagine a Saturday. If you don't want to waste time do yourself a favor and go to another post office. read more
