I first approached Staples in PB, but was told to call after 2 pm when Staples supervisor came in to work to get a quote how much this littie strip would cost me. She said the strip cost $2.00 but I had to use THEIR POSTERBOARD, not my finished product, so they know your job will be compatible with the lamination machine. Well supervisor told me the posterboard cost $12.00 so she quoted my little 1 inch strip by 17 inches long, to cost $14 plus tax! I think I got something laminated over 10 years ago, and I brought my own materials in. I called FedEx, which is closer to my house anyways. Their charge is just $4.95 for the 18 inch x 10 inch lamination sheet sleeve. The $4.95 includes the lamination, so I ws out $4.95 plus 28 cents for tax. The employee did it for me, too. So 5 Yelp stars for Fed Ex and 1 star for Staples.

Every live animal shipment I have received over the past 7 years through the Heater Court location has been handed to me at room temperature, as opposed to too warm or cold, which is vital to maintain the health and safety of live animals during travel. I have NEVER received or sent out a DOA animal through this location. It's a much better experience with a recent pickup. Boxes were picked up on the scheduled day…read morethough 2 hours after the pickup window. LBC is the definition of running on Filipino time. My scheduled pickup was to occur between 10am and 2pm. At 1:50pm, I called customer service since it hadn't been done and was told, "the driver is in the area." They'll coordinate with the driver. It didn't give me a good sense of security. The driver showed up closer to 4pm. He was quick, efficient. He's got the method locked down. Paperwork and labeling the boxes only took 10 minutes. He hauled out 1x extra large and 1x large box with ease. I'm really hoping that things are better. Thankfully, I was still able to make my appointment. Waiting for LBC to arrive really takes the entire day regardless if the appointment exists. What really needs work is their communication - i.e. reminder email day of or before pickup day, or text updates on the day of pick up, or updates that the driver is en route, or real information from customer service agents instead of canned messages. We're just very happy that this pickup is done and complete!
