When you're traveling, that kind of ease makes a big difference. They also had my medication in stock, which I really appreciated since I wasn't sure what to expect being away from home. The store employee kept saying it didn't start until noon and she should know that but clearly the employee from earlier in the day wasn't aware of it either. Is there something in the water here!!? This is the second employee at an establishment that I've seen bully an elderly person today. Circle K would absolutely not be ok with this kind of behavior and even though I'm not directly involved I will be calling the corporate office and complaining. Dani's behavior was borderline psychotic and a local woman egging her on was just bizarre. These women are old enough to know right and wrong behavior. We decided not to get gas here because we don't want to contribute to their economy when this behavior seems to be normalized. Weird.

I was tired a bit from working hard all day and got to see a really cool virgin cave that had a 30 feet vertical and it was soo good to see this place on my drive back out to civilization! I got one of those cappuccinos from the machines and while not what I usually drink, it was good to have this for the 3 hour drive ahead. Stopped by after exploring the park and picked up some souvenirs and some soft serve ice cream. They have towels and water shoes here if you're planning on getting in the water. They also have plenty of snacks if you're hungry. I would definitely recommend the soft serve ice cream, especially on a warm day. It's so satisfying and it definitely hits the spot. The cashiers are really nice and helpful. There's a $10 card minimum but it's pretty easy to spend more than $10 here. I picked up a few refrigerator magnets while I was here and they look really nice on my fridge (I collect these). For a smaller state park, it's nice that Slide Rock has such a convenient little market like this.
