    #14 ale on the patio

Who would have thought a Super Market would be a place for Beer, Wine and Cocktails? Just keep in mind last call is 9pm. Located in the shopping center off of Sylvan and Oakdale, parking for days! They always have multiple beers on tap, you can also get food and snacks ready made for you. If you go to the butcher area they will wood fire grill just about anything for you. Then you take your fresh food back to the Tipping Point and get some great drinks to pair with it. There is an outdoor patio, with heating and even TV's I really like stopping in here from time to time. It is a bar without all the barflies!

Hi I love, Savemart I give the upmost respect. The store is very clean. The cashiers and workers are very professional they greet you. They say hi good morning good afternoon can I help you? They're very polite but I bring my working crew and I bring other people family and friends over to the bar to the tipping point and there's a rude employee over there plus you're cutting hours which is going to eventually cut people from coming the Manager over there at tipping point. June is very rude. I watched her from far but she had three people in a line. She was cutting up lettuce taken care of one order never greeted. No one never said hi never or smile. Or looked up Trust me. I'm watching her from far and I'm not a secret shopper. She went into the back and left those people hanging at the front line. Never said I'll be right back with you or can I offer nothing for the wait time. Can I offer you some nachos or something to hold up there wait and then she said how can I help you with a demand in her voice a couple of my employees and a couple of my friends don't wanna come back when she's there now we hear that she's here permanently cause of the cut of hours Save Mart management team is this what you want I'm just asking the bakery is great. Oh my goodness and your deli is fantastic. The floor is white glove clean I give you guys that I come here from far. I live in Modesto I would never shop nowhere else other than Save Mart but the tipping points where I come relax, have a drink enjoy myself after work after a hard day with the family, but if I'm gonna meet up with an employee, that's very rude She pulls and has a attitude with her employees online in front in front of customers I witness her arguing with an employee called Jennifer and next I know Jennifer is no longer here. Unacceptable but I don't know the story behind that but for the rest of your team everybody's wonderful I'll give you a seven out of 10 and I see corporate in here every now and then but you should access a survey your customers the customer after 4 o'clock that comes here to visit Not the ones to the midday that are not here like Mother's and not discriminate against mothers but Mother's father's husbands and wives come here to endure our self and all we hear and see is rush rush rush, rush you need a nice little party outside in the patio to invite people over since you have the auto store next to you and in and out over there next to you you need to get those people back. The holidays are coming. You need my help. Let me know.

Service was super quick, and the workers were so nice. The salsa bar is a nice addition, and was well stocked!

Savemart quality ingredients + restaurant quality menu = Tipping Point. Honestly didn't want to give the Tipping Point a review because sometime I like to keep things good for me only! But Inside of savemart is an amazing lil restaurant or whatever. Reasonable prices !! Super delicious food, cooked wood fire! I'm just in love, words can't describe it.... So look at my photos and come in and try The Tipping Point. Follow my instagram: RealRonaldReviews

Amazing tri tip! The salsa bar has an amazing pineapple salsa! & their bbq sauce was delish! Had a great lunch with my daughter. We got hungry & decided to eat before grocery shopping!! We split the 2 tacos (i got one tri tip for me & a chicken for her) we loved them! One taco was plenty for each one of us!! Reg size tortilla not the little ones. The tortillas was yummy & crisp! Totally recommend giving them a try!!

Took 25 minutes. Tacos first then cold corn on the cob next. Tacos were just tritip and celantro. Meat chewy and corn cold. My last visit.

Donoby's - A Soft Spot in the Night…read more I walked into Donoby's tonight while waiting for the crowd across the street at Toriis to thin out, and honestly... I'm glad I did. This bar has an underrated, easygoing pulse that a lot of places try for but can't quite land. No shouting, no chaos, just gentle conversation, light laughter, and that familiar hum of people enjoying being out without needing to prove anything. The bartender, Amy, we actually sang "Broken" by Seether & Amy Lee together at karaoke here a couple weeks ago, pours with care. You can feel when someone takes pride in the small things, a clean pour, a quick smile, a read on the room. She has that. The crowd here tonight is relaxed. Mixed ages, no pressure, no edge. Just people unwinding from the week. It is a place where you can sit with a beer, breathe for a minute, and not feel like the world is tugging at you. Plenty of seating, the lighting is warm, the décor is classic without being stale, pool tables in good shape, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for just one more....because it is comfortable. That is rare. Donoby's isn't loud about who it is. It doesn't need to be. It just is....and that's what keeps a place alive. I'll be back.

This worked fine for us. We had our menus and drinks in a reasonable time, and had a relaxing time throughout. We both had the pulled pork sandwich along with the ice tea. I also had the cup of chili - nicely spiced). I enjoyed my sandwich (skipping the bun, as I am trying to limit carbs). My friend, whom I realized often fusses about the meals we share, was more critical. His comments were "Wrong bun, hamburger bun shoulda been an onion bun" and "How long does it take to make a sandwich?" (The wait time was totally reasonable to me.) He didn't like the potato salad (but ate it all with little time spared). He liked the meat in the sandwich, giving it a 5 out of 5. He liked the service less (I felt it was on point and just fine.) The twisted pig is a good place to eat, if it is noisy inside (as it often is) check out the patio.

The "hamburger" was clearly made from frozen patties with no flavor or effort put into it. To make things worse, the waitress tried to charge me an extra $10 that wasn't even supposed to be on the bill. When I questioned it, the attitude was dismissive instead of apologetic. Bad food and questionable service -- definitely not worth the money.

Inside room is ok, a bit cold feeling with concrete counters, floors, etc. There were several groups at the bar, 3-4 guys on one end, 2 guys at the other, so I sat in the middle. The first red flag was the female bartender, who was dressed in sweats and a ball cap, like she had just rolled out of bed. Very unprofessional, even for a beer/pub. She seemed disinterested in serving me and was more concerned about talking with the 4 guys. Then another guy & girl joined that group. They all knew one another, obviously regulars. The beer list was decent and well-balanced. 4 IPAs, a couple of Pils/Lager and Stout/Porters, Hazy IPAs, Cider/Selzer, and 4 grocery store beers: Coors Light, Modelo, Bud Light, and ? IPAs were from Henhouse, Drakes, Dust Bowl, and ? Large food menu for such a small place. From the bar, you can easily watch the cook on the flattop. After reading the list of sandwiches, I figured the turkey/ham/etc. was the Sysco-type, inexpensive kind, so I opted for a cheeseburger. Burger & fries arrived on a metal sheet pan. The burger looked good, and the fries looked a bit undercooked (not golden brown). Bun was toasted on the flattop and had a bit of mayo, no mustard, ketchup, etc. Fries came with a small 1oz thimble of ranch. As I suspected, the fries were undercooked. I cut the burger in half, and the center was undercooked. Then I noticed the burger patty was actually two thin patties pressed together. WTF? First bite was a warning- the meat had no seasoning and tasted like cardboard. Thankfully, I got a second beer and washed down the burger. Only ate half of the burger. I'm guessing they sell a lot of booze, because there is no way people are going for the food. I wouldn't be surprised if this place is closed by the end of 2026.

I would give it 5 stars for the friendly service! But I had to knock off 2 stars because what I ordered was not very good. I ordered the Thai tacos and they offered a low-carb version on a bed of lettuce instead of tortillas. The presentation was nice and I know they really tried, but it was pretty bad. The sauce tasted more like ketchup and did not taste like a Thai sauce at all. It was supposed to have chopped peanuts in it but it hardly had any. The chopped chicken pieces were drowned out by the ketchup tasting sauce. I thought there would be more avocado on it but there was only a tiny piece on each taco and they chose a bad avocado because the avocado was turning brown with stringy fiber in it. I couldn't eat it after a few bites. On the other hand hubby had fish and chips which he liked. The french fries were good. So my dish was a bomb while hubby's was decent and predictable. I would return if I'm in the area because the service is so friendly and nice, but I would not order that again. I would try something more mainstream that's hard to botch up like maybe a hamburger or a sandwich.
