Unfortunately, instead of apologizing or offering to remake the meal or provide a refund, the response was defensive, simply saying that it was listed on the menu. My issue is that I specifically asked the employee about the salmon meal, and she told me what it came with but never mentioned that the salmon was stuffed with shrimp. If I had known, I obviously would not have ordered it. When a customer tells you what they want and asks an employee directly, important ingredients--especially a common allergen like shrimp--should be clearly communicated.
