I really wanted to like Bodega Style. I was actually warned to avoid them and referred somewhere…read moreelse, but decided to give them a chance anyway. At first, everything seemed great. They were one of the few places I found that carried prefabricated quartz countertops within my budget. That's where the positive experience ended though. The countertops that came in looked like a watered down version of the floor sample, much more plain and washed out. I understand these are manufactured items and won't be identical, but they should still be in the same range as what is displayed. We even reordered with a different style, thinking that might solve the issue, but the second set had the same problem. After two failed attempts, I tried to cancel the order altogether. The items never left the facility, but Bodega would not allow a return. My contractor even tried to convert the order into store credit to use for another client, and that request was also refused. Customer service only added to the frustration. I came in right at opening one day because I needed to get in and out quickly before work. Despite that, I was passed over while staff handled a large tile delivery, which could have easily been done before opening or at a less busy time. I understand waiting my turn, but this felt poorly managed and inconsiderate, and it nearly made me late. Overall, this was a disappointing experience on multiple levels. Between the product issues, lack of flexibility, and poor service, I would not recommend coming here.

I searched for the 2 best reviewed Yelp shower remodeling contractors in my area, invited them both…read moreto bid my 2 shower remodels, and picked Jeff Roberts of Roberts Tile, I'm glad I did. He was not the cheaper of the 2, but I care more about getting a quality job done than saving money. He was the one I felt most comfortable with, and who took the time to really explain what he envisioned doing. Jeff suggested a few tile places in OC where I could pick my tile. Since Jeff had the walls opened up anyways, we asked him to replace the galvanized plumbing serving the showers, toilets, and sinks with copper at an extra cost, which he did an excellent job on. Jeff takes his time, doesn't rush a job, and only works on one job at a time. He does all the install work himself, with only one helper for the demo work. The only thing he doesn't do is install the glass shower enclosure, so you'll have to hire that contractor separately (I recommend hiring your own glass contractor rather than using Jeff's contact for that like we did). To save us money Jeff suggested we buy the shower rails, and fixtures ourselves, and then just have him install it. Jeff was super helpful in explaining to us what we needed to buy and what to look for. As another reviewer has said, Jeff is an old-school pro who takes his time and doesn't rush a job, he does a thorough, error-free, high quality job. His best attribute is explaining everything so well so you understand everything, and his suggestions / recommendations between the options. Highly recommended, thanks Jeff!

Well laminate flooring is not waterproof so I had to pull up the planks. It was flooded. After that though it was going to be like a puzzle putting back together. So I reached out to A&E and Eric got right out to me & gave me a reasonable rate and had someone at my house with in 2 days. Miguel did a fantastic job of piecing the pieces back together. We wanted a unique, retro style and material for our floor, and he helped us get the right amount and type of supplies. When the time came to do the work, his team was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They replaced some previously water-damaged subfloor and repaired it like nothing had ever happened. Best of all, they were able to finish the job in half the estimated time, and we were able to get back into our kitchen and start enjoying our new floor! It was worth every penny, and was a great value. I wish we hadn't waited so long. I'll be happy to call A&E again for my next job, even beyond flooring.
