    Bacon and avocado burger yummy!
    Marshall M.

We came here for lunch and it was solid. We got two burgers and chicken tenders for the kids. We got our burgers with fries and onion rings. The burgers were both delicious one had bacon and avocado and the other one was the one with sourdough and grilled onions. Both burgers tasted great and cooked nicely. We sat outside in the middle patio area and it was great for family and kids. The chicken tenders were great as wells

Very good meal to start the day! Servicer even brought to table even though they gave me a number to pick up from counter, very nice of them. Great spot in Paso Robles and nice cafe right next to them!

    Looks sooo good...!

The Third Degree is located in the Paso Market Walk 1825 Spring St in Paso Robles, CA. Easy to find, with decent parking...should you, my dear Yelp Review Reader(s), decide to go and go you should...getting there will not present any issues. Since this establishment is in fact in the Market Walk, you won't need to worry about getting a table and seating...there are plenty available, and there is an outdoor seating area as well. There are paper Menus or you can view the Menu Board in order to decide your choice of "eats". Upon deciding on our order, we stepped up to the counter and Daniel greeted us promptly. Daniel was courteous, helpful and accommodating. Thank-you for your Customer Service Daniel! With Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches and Paninis being the offerings here, we ordered a Salad - Berry Hill (WOW, this was "the bomb"...a definite 5/5), 2 Burgers - The Suspect (amazing taste...another 5/5), and The Lawyer (very yummy...4.5/5) and finally a Sandwich - 2X Crispy Buffalo Chicken (both could have been a bit juicier...4/5). From the Sides & Extras - Onion Rings w/Ranch (delicious...5/5). Our drinks...a Clown Shoes IPA , a Cliche Wine Seltzer and a Firestone Walker 805 Beer. The order was brought out to our table by Daniel (a nice courtesy) and our feasting began. Good conversation, great company, a very casual atmosphere and darn good food made for a memorable meal. Therefore, on this occasion...in this Yelper's opinion, The Third Degree "firing on all cylinders", truly earned this "highly recommend" 5 Star review.

Was trying out different meals from the local market. Decided to get a few items from this place. The burger was okay 3/5. The buffalo chicken wings were really good 4/5. The fries were thin and crispy 5/5. Good spot for American food.

Inside the Paso Market Walk, this is one of the three locations opened early morning. We were walking around looking for some breakfast at Third Degree happens to serve a few breakfast items including the delicious chorizo burrito. With a hint of spice and sides of sour cream and salsa (more spice if you like!), it's a greasy but oh-so-good breakfast! It's a pretty huge burrito so perfect for sharing with another. Great service, would be happy to come back!

$16 for a very greasy, very thin, very undercooked burger? Maybe other menu items are brut, but I won't be back.

I went in planning to order the $11.95 cheeseburger combo, but I swerved and got the gourmet western burger combo for $14.49 instead. Excellent decision. The skinny fries with the skins on came out steaming hot, and the burger was fantastic--a big, flavorful patty hanging over the edge of a fresh bun like it had something to prove. No gimmicks, no overthinking, just a solid local burger spot doing burgers right.

It's a small place, not fancy, but it felt friendly and relaxed, the kind of place that doesn't try too hard and knows what it is. Here are the details... *Service: everyone was very friendly. The guy at the front was genuinely nice, but he was pretty confused and confusing when I asked about the daily specials and pricing. He tried to explain it, but it made understanding what was what harder than it should have been. Nothing negative intention-wise at all, just a little chaotic and unclear. *Food: I ordered the burger medium rare, no cheese. It came out medium well with cheese and a very small piece of pineapple. Not exactly what I ordered, but it still tasted good. It had plenty of condiments, lettuce, tomato, a thin slice of ham, and mayonnaise. Flavor-wise it was solid, just not what I asked for. The fries were excellent. Crispy, fresh, and clearly made from real potatoes. They slice whole potatoes in-house with a slicing machine and turn them straight into fries, which I thought was really cool. They also had some kind of seasoning on them that made them even better. They have a lot of good burger options, plus chicken sandwiches, salads, and chicken strips. I liked that there was variety beyond just burgers. They also do a daily special burger for $10.99, combo meals are $13.99, and you can sub onion rings for fries for $0.99, which felt fair. *Ambiance: it's pretty clean, open, and small, about ten tables inside. It felt comfortable and simple. There are a few tables out front and a picnic table under a big tree, which is a nice idea, but it's right off the main street so it's not super peaceful. *Value: it felt like a pretty good value. The pricing made sense for what you get, especially with the daily specials and combo options. Nothing felt overpriced. *Overall: this was a solid but not standout experience. Friendly people, great fries, good burger flavor, but the order accuracy and confusing explanation of specials held it back. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It's a decent stop if you're in the area and want something casual and quick. I added a bunch of pictures to help you get a feel.

Food was taking a really long time (also expensive for what it is), the person taking the order at the counter wasn't that nice to my family that I was translating for nor was the server. After people around us were served that ordered after us, I said "I want my fkn fries" at a totally normal volume to my family privately, and the server (owners gf) heard me (my bad) came over with the owner to scold me lol. Which is crazy bc the owner has cursed at people and called them names in responses to reviews here! He's been so nasty to any low reviews. I tried to post his responses but Yelp flagged it or he got it removed idk. Also I hate leaving one star reviews you can see my history so this was truly a unique experience and treatment.

Yeah well, this is definitely not the case here at Primal House. First time visit here, which we stumbled upon just by driving around and exploring. Now this place will definitely be a "must" whenever we come back into town. Ordered the Primal Burger, which in my humble opinion is second to none and probably one of the best I've had thus far! 4oz (x2) of the freshest, most succulent, meat-forward tasting, and perfectly cooked beef (medium rare) you could ever imagine! WOW, just wow! Superb service the day we came and we were also humbled to have met Chef Marcel who just happened to come out to the dining area to say hello. That speaks volumes in my book. We come to Paso Robles pretty regularly to pick up our wine club deliveries -- yes, we're those…read morepeople -- and this spring trip we finally decided to give Primal House a shot. Made a reservation for seven, brought our own bottle of J Duci (obviously), and settled into the fine dining area, which was noticeably quieter and more relaxed than the bar scene. Great call. Now, we came in as wine people. But the beer? Genuinely blew us away. We did a flight just to be thorough, and my dad -- a man who loves his wine -- abandoned ship entirely and went straight for the black cherry dunkelweizen. How do I describe it? Imagine someone took a Dr Pepper, gave it a glow-up, and turned it into an actual craft beer. Bizarre. Wonderful. 10/10 would confuse my taste buds again. On the food: the artichoke dip had a nice little kick to it that snuck up on you in the best way. The pretzels and cheese sauce? We need to have a serious conversation about the pretzel-to-cheese-sauce ratio, because we ran out of pretzels long before we ran out of sauce. That's not a complaint -- that's a cry for help. Send more pretzels. Three of us went for the prime rib special and my husband got the ribeye with mushrooms. The salad that came with the prime rib was fresh and crisp, and the blue cheese dressing was legit. The prime rib itself was juicy, well-seasoned, and not overly fatty. Fair warning though -- it seemed like they roast it and then finish it on the grill, so getting a true medium-rare is probably off the table. Ours came out closer to medium, but it had this great steak-like texture that honestly worked. Would I order it again? Absolutely yes. The mashed potatoes that came with everything were also quietly excellent -- the kind of side dish you keep going back to without realizing it. Really looking forward to coming back and working our way through more of the menu. Hidden gem alert for anyone doing the Paso wine trail!
