Creole shrimp Benedict
Alexis S.

Me and my friends finally made it here after talking about it for a while, and it didn't disappoint. We knew that they didn't take reservations in advance and that there would likely be a wait for Sunday brunch (even on a freezing day). One of my friends got there before me, and put her name down with the wait being about an hour. As a note, they have no waiting area inside the restaurant, so if you come, be prepared to wait in your car (or outside in the nice weather) until you get a text message. The restaurant itself is very cute and comfortable, but quite small with a handful of bar seats and maybe 10 tables. Once we were seated, we were able to order right away and our server was great. We ordered a number of things including the cinnamon roll flight to share, the avocado toast, the shrimp Benedict and the chicken and waffles for our entrees. My friends ordered the mimosa flight and I ordered the pear spritz mimosa. The cinnamon roll flight was very good, but very sweet and easily shareable between 3-4 people. The entrees were all good, though my friend commented that her shrimp were quite salty. The drinks were okay, but nothing to write home about. I'd come back here again!

Eggs Benedict (Classic)

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Expected a long wait but only waited maybe 10 minutes. Food was good, albeit a bit heavy. Had the eggs Benedict which were good but the biscuit was a lot. I did like that it was served with greens as well as potatoes. Had a pomegranate mimosa to go with it. Our server was good. Would have like to have been offered water without needing to ask for it. Like the cute and cozy atmosphere and it wasn't overly loud. Would definitely try again.

Cinnamon Bun Flight

Great service, great food, and a menu that clearly understood the assignment. The specials are creative, unique, and delicious. Yes, it's a small place, and yes, you will probably wait at least 25 minutes but trust me, you'll forget all about that once the food hits the table. Do yourself a favor and order the cinnamon bun flight, hot coffee flight, huevos rancheros, and the Nutella French toast (or honestly... just order everything). If you haven't gone yet, stop scrolling Yelp and go eat here.

Really good food, but pricey. $75 for 1 drink and one coffee for two people. It's really good and you get what you pay for, but I'd like to see more bang for my buck. The servings are generous the advice is excellent. I loved the atmosphere, bunny 4 stars because my frugal butt wants a deal.

Carbonara for breakfast with an egg sounds like a perfect brunch

We brave the snow and ice so we had an opportunity to sneak in here without our little one! We sat at the counter, which was still just as lovely because we got to be served by Brianna! Her smile, her charm and her service level was exceptional! We went with some big classic dishes that were amazing and now we have some have lots of leftovers! Everything was delicious!

Make your own mimosa

Small cute bar and restaurant. We ventured here to try their brunch. The restaurant opens at 9am and we arrived at 9:04am and the place was almost full to capacity. I was wondering how many people were lined up at the door waiting. This was definitely a good sign. We started off with the make your own mimosa. Even though it was 9am here it was 5pm somewhere else so we ordered the bottle. They came out with a brut cava we were surprised and happy. We preceded to order our entrees and it was hard to narrow it down but we did. French toast, Chicken sausage, home fries and a brunch burger. Awesome choices, we were very pleased. The wait staff was very pleasant and moving quickly because there was a wait list. The rest room was immaculate - no complaints. Tasty Tables is worth the trip and we will be back.

Mimosa Flight (Cotton Candy, Mango, Pear & Lavender)

Super cute and charming spot, definitely worth visiting. Came here for brunch on Sunday, this place was very busy, but was seated immediately. Cozy ambiance, super friendly and attentive staff (Lisa and Val were awesome), excellent service, and the food and drinks were amazingly delicious. Must try the iced coffee flight, my other half enjoyed it and his favorites were the twix and vanilla wafer. I had the mimosa flight, and my favorites were the lavender and mango. The blood orange mimosa is the most popular but will have to try next time since they ran out. I had the eggs benedict with a side of pork sausage and my other half had the american classic. Everything was very good and filling. One of the best brunches I've been to, I can't wait to go back and try everything else.

Pear mimosa
Emma M.

The place was packed which is a great sign. We put our names down and were seated within 15 minutes. The pear mimosa was really delicious, and it was filled to the brim in a big glass which is amazing. I got the pistachio latte as well and it was FABULOUS! I'm not sure if these are both seasonal drinks but definitely get them both. I got the brunch pizza too and it was a 10/10. The place itself is very cute too I will definitely be back

All American ($17). Two eggs, thick wheat toast, thick cut bacon, breakfast potatoes. All excellent. The thick toast was delicious!

Great easy place for a delicious breakfast or brunch. Easily accessible to all parts of Westchester, and even though the parking lot is small there is plenty of street parking. The menu is huge, possibly too big, but it is attractive with many appealing dishes - classics done right. The inside is cute albeit a bit tight. There is a nice little outside section that was well shaded. The menu is reasonably priced but it can add up with many add ons. Coffee was a bit much for $4.00 in my opinion. Portions are large, very well presented and ingredients fresh. You can tell a lot of thought went into the presentation.

the "latte"
Barry C.

I ordered an iced cookie butter latte from The Tasty Table, and it was seriously disappointing. They didn't put any espresso in it--just milk and cookie butter over ice. No caffeine, no coffee flavor, just an overly sweet drink pretending to be a latte. How do you forget the main ingredient? Definitely not worth the money. I won't be ordering coffee from here again. Edit: In response to your reply to my review. Why would I ask you to remake it if i didn't even order it in person? Maybe you should have made it properly the first time or perhaps hire someone who knows how to put the espresso in a latte which should be second nature. It's sad how you're getting defensive when you could've just had some accountability. Do better.

Iced coffee flight
Melissa R.

We went on a Sunday- the wait was long and they don't take reservations. There's also nothing really in the surrounding area. A lot of people are just standing and waiting right next to the outside tables which can be uncomfortable for the people there eating. The inside decor and bathroom is really cute. Everything pictures awesome for posts (see pics) the food is just ok though. The iced coffee flight is cute for a post, but for taste, I wouldn't recommend if you're a big coffee person. I probably should of went with a mimosa flight instead.

We went on Easter for brunch, which we decided to do last minute and they let us know they could squeeze us in. We sat on the screened in patio. They were massively busy, but the staff was on their toes, checking in, taking away empty plates, being very kind (even though they were clearly crazy with how busy they were). We started with the Brie stuff pretzels. They were more like pretzel sandwiches (pretzel sticks cut in half with Brie in between), but were really tasty. It was all so good, I kept forgetting to take pictures until after we had already dug in. The pretzel app came with 4 pretzel/brie sandwiches. We also got the spinach an artichoke dip. It came with a nice amount of chips (hate when they give you too few and then you're just left with gobs of dip and nothing for it). It also came with salsa and sour cream, which seemed odd, but was nice for the extra chips and also family friendly if the dip didn't appeal to kids. The dip itself was really nice, it didn't taste as rich as spinach and artichoke dips often are. I could really taste the spinach, but in a good way. Usually dips like that make me feel overly full and are so heavy, this was a refreshing take on it. We got the Dutch baby pancake, the kids Mac and cheese, the pimento cheese and ham omelet (which I got scrambled), chicken and waffles, and the hot honey chicken. Overall, the food was delicious. The flavors all had depth and were really satisfying. We came home with lots of leftovers and we were all very happy when the meal was done. We will definitely be going back.

It takes familiar dishes and presents them with a bit more care and a bit more intention. You taste that difference almost immediately. The food doesn't just satisfy; it reassures you that it was made thoughtfully. Of course, that level of care comes with a price, and you feel it. But in most cases, the quality justifies the cost. You may hesitate when ordering, but not when eating. The undeniable centerpiece is the Bulleit Burger. It's rich, balanced, and memorable in a way that lingers beyond the meal. If you're ordering from Southern Table, it feels less like an option and more like an obligation. Most of my experiences have been through takeout, which has held up well. Still, dining in offers its own appeal. The space is large and comes with an easy, welcoming energy that works well for a casual night out. Highlights: * Bulleit Burger * Elevated presentation and ingredient quality * Consistent execution across visits Lowlights: * Pricing is on the higher side

We were heading up to Croton-on-Hudson for a show and none of the restaurant options were looking appealing. We wanted something with a view of the water since it was the first truly Spring weather day we'd had this season. I saw that the rating for this place wasn't spectacular, but loved the photos and decided to read recent ratings, and we decided, even if the food is "meh" at least we'll be outside by the water. The Boathouse did not disappoint. The host who seated us was friendly and enthusiastic. Our server was everything you want in a server: Friendly, Confident in making suggestions, Attentive without being pushy or annoying, and just an honestly great man who was so fun to chat with. We both just had mains: Husband had the seafood gumbo. Wow! So packed with flavor, and yes, the spice hit you on the back end, but SO yummy. Packed with seafood and sausage, rice that wasn't gummy, and I am sorry Tom Colicchio, the okra was delicious! The "slime" that we all fear had more of a velvety texture that was not off-putting at all, and the flavor was really unique and enjoyable. i had the Shrimp Luciano. Five jumbo shrimp without a hint of vein or shell, sautéed in an egg batter that crisped at the edges. The sauce...omg....so flavorful. I find so often that chefs add too much of spice and herb but not here. It was well balanced and so yummy. If I wasn't in public, I would have licked the plate clean! Oh, and it came with green beans, one of my least favorite vegetables because again, I find so many just over cook and over season. This were lightly sautéed so they had a fresh from the garden taste and a perfect snap to them. Garlic mashed potatoes...made with red bliss...had a sweet element, not sugary, but there was a flavor were just couldn't identify....maybe a hit a nutmeg? Regardless, they were heavenly. Then we made the decision to share a slice of the crème brûlée cheesecake. We didn't have room, but our "neighbors" at the next table said we had to try it...so we did. WOW! This was not your typical heavy overly sweet cheesecake. It was light, had specks of vanilla, a very thin lovely crust and the taste....sooooooo good. The wine by the glass choices were great: $12 for a wonderful glass of Albariño?? It was so crips and light and perfect with my meal. Husband had an IPA...we think it was called Maine Lunch and it was also delightful. I will note: the tables are NOT on the dock. They are a ways back but the water view surrounds you. I saw some tables set up right by the dock edge near the water and apparently they have a bar and music there once it gets warm.
