I usually don't have high expectations for a hotel restaurant, but this may have been a anomaly. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly and chatted with us when appropriate. I had a Cesar salad to start, and it was one of the best I have had. Perfect dressing with enough to keep me happy, homemade croutons a plus. Wife had a popover with maple butter which was also excellent. We then shared a pepperoni pizza. It was good, but average. So if you're staying at Grand Summit hotel do not overlook their restaurant. A final note was they also had a great selection of local taps. Clean, warm and inviting.

    Goodbye 2022 drink special!

Delighted with our dinner, drinks, and entertainment! Delicious French onion soup and Caesar salad. My husband had the pizza. I thought the menu had excellent selections of appies, pizza, sandwiches. BUT I LOVED the drink special which was called Goodbye to 2022 - Stoli raspberry, fresh raspberries, pomegranate. Beautifully presented. Live entertainment - very talented vocalist.

Best burger and fries I've have in a while. I did take out, but the atmosphere seems nice and the bartender was very friendly

A small bar as you enter that was full when we came in. We sat at a small table in the bar area. Everyone was very nice and our waitress was attentive enough - but she seemed a bit busy. But all was fine service wise. So....the food. It's weird. Like trying too hard to be different but just didn't hit the mark for me. I see bread on a menu and I get excited! So immediately I ordered the Parmesan bread with dill pickle butter. The bread was warm and I enjoyed it but the butter with dill pickle just didn't work for me. Lots of other things to me could have complemented the bread better. Then we order the lettuce wraps, they were ok. My friend ordered the duck and I tried it and we both really liked it! The vegetables were good! My sirloin....the steak itself was good despite being a tad overcooked for medium rare. Something on the plate had a curry flavor - it just didn't all go together well. Then the lemon ricotta cheesecake....we didn't taste any lemon, it was thick and weirdly dry for a cheesecake. It also had freeze dried something on top....we actually weren't sure what. Some bright spots - the food quality! You can tell that these are top notch high quality ingredients, and the cocktails! They were yummy! I just don't like the weird combos and what (to me) feels like being weird for the sake of being different versus just being good. Since I only come up here a few times a season I likely will go to our other favorites or try new spots.

My wife picked a seltzer which was also good. They had huge tacos. Two was enough for me. The beef taco was spicy... just right for me. Nice facility. They have outside seating. We were the only customers that arrived right as they opened which allowed us time to chat with one of the owners. I forget his name, but he was so welcoming & fun to talk with. We pulled up a seat at the super long bar & took in the atmosphere. There was another associate that was prepping for the daily taco bar (?) they do. From what we understood, they don't serve food until 3pm or 4pm. The location is so unsuspecting for a brewing company. We found the place on our GPS but it's definitely not a building you'd easily see when passing by. It's very industrial in appearance & getting to it was a bit different. Outside there are chairs & cornhole boards. I believe there was a fire pit & they had lights strung throughout. We only stayed for a beer but we'd love to come back in the summertime & hang out outside & get a better feel for the live entertainment they have & meet some other beer-loving people!

I want to start by saying both the food and drink were beyond exceptional, but I sat alone in the bar, and the service was extraordinary! I walked into the bar and was immediately greeted with a welcoming smile from Megan (the bartender). I sat down and browsed the menu for a moment before she came to take my order. I hadn't been to the moat before but really wanted to try one of the valley's local craft brews. I didnt really know what I wanted or what to expect, but Megan walked me through all of the tap options and helped me pick the perfect beer to end my day. Not only did she help with my beer choice (boneshaker brown ale) and food [the longhorn nachos (chef's kiss)], but also was there for every dining need or question that I had! Needless to say, I will absolutely be back! From exquisite cuisine to amazing attentive and authentic service, the moat has it all! One of North Conways best places to dine!

Highly recommend the Moat, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they have one of the best breweries anywhere.
