I love being able to grab my own banchan and sauces. Our server, "Kai", was very attentive and helpful to my family and I. He constantly picked up our plates and trash and always checked on our table. :) The butcher cuts and kitchen food selections were quite fresh and well kept! Most of the time, the shrimps at most restaurants are spoiled without them knowing, but these shrimps were great! Great place for a group dining or with friends and family that doesn't mind the "pub" vibe and lively atmosphere. Inside is a bit warm because of all the grills so I'd dress light. The restaurant playlist had so many throwback songs so we loved that too hahaha Will bring back more friends next time!

I came for comfort food and left emotionally attached to pie…read more The chicken pot pie was next-level cozy. The crust was perfectly golden and flaky -- not soggy, not too thick, just that buttery, shatter-when-you-touch-it kind of crust. Inside was creamy, savory goodness packed with tender chunks of chicken and veggies that still had a little bite. It tasted homemade in the best way, like the upgraded gourmet version of something your favorite aunt would make. But the real surprise star? The strawberry banana custard pie topped with mochi. I did not expect to love this as much as I did. The custard was silky and not overly sweet, the strawberries added a fresh brightness, and the banana gave it that smooth, mellow flavor that tied everything together. And the mochi on top? Such a fun, chewy texture contrast that made every bite interesting. It somehow felt light and indulgent at the same time. Savory, sweet, creamy, chewy -- this place understands balance. I would 100% come back just for pie... and that says a lot.

They are fully cooked so I just need to watch for a nice crispy crust. New menus come out every Monday. The owner is very nice. I was list so I called and she explained the process. Ordering was very easy. Just send a text to their number. They are on Facebook and Yelp. You can order already baked or frozen so you can bake yourself She also has a big pink truck and is at various locations around town. She also shares her story and it's very admirable. I'll serve with a salad tonight. It looks really filling! Finished baking straight from the freezer bit took 1 1/2 hours. Nice and crispy. Filling is tasty, not salty and it's full of chicken.

Very poor / slow customer service…read more My first order was delivered with no proteins (supposed to have steak, pork, and shrimp ... all I received was vegetables and meal cards / recipes.) There is no phone number to call, so I emailed them, and emailed again a couple of days later, and again a couple of days later. I did eventually hear back and was given a $30 dollar coupon for another order. Essentially I paid nearly $70 for about $25 worth of vegetables (for me to buy the missing proteins was almost $45). I did place a second order with the coupon and no issues with delivery on the second order. Pros: delivery is convenient, meals are not hard to make, instructions are pretty clear. Cons: POOR customer service, cannot include some meals from the regular menu and some from the gluten free (it is one or the other), meals are not overly flavorful, no cooling packs / ice in the delivery boxes and no effort to place the box in the shade on my porch (box was left in direct sun and was very warm when I got home -- likely effected quality of the vegetables)

They need a real phone number to work, this one on yelp is not inservice. When needed to pause my delivery I couldn't enter the website or send an email, but it got resolved last minute.

It's located right at the entrance of Maunakea Marketplace in a lowkey food court. Super unassuming and unpretentious. For a quick snack, we shared the Combo C4: hamachi with use shiso ahi ($20.53). You get 6 pieces of sashimi, 2 pieces of tamago, and a helping of poke. For around $20 bucks, you get an insane amount of fresh fish. I love hamachi and the hamachi here was buttery good. I also loved the fact that you can try some of their poke as a side. The menu is broken into three categories: sashimi, combo of sashimi + poke, and poke. The fish is dressed in simple sauce - if any. All three are served over a bed of rice. They're made to order and packaged in plastic containers; perfect if you want to pack it to the beach etc. Ten out of ten dining experience. I would absolutely come here again.

No complaints on that, but nothing memorable if we're accounting for the price. About $22 for pretty thin and limited fish. Before coming, I read a lot about this place on Reddit and some people swear by it. I also didn't realize what they have about three locations I think in Oahu. This location is in Chinatown. We didn't have a car at this time so we did rideshare and fortunately made it within the slim time interval this restaurant is open. Looked around to see if there were other things to do in the area and there's really not much especially during the day. Might be worth it if you have a car. There's really just bars in this area that are only open at night and there's some suspicious activity outside throughout china town. Very limited seating. Very limited hours. This restaurant is located in the food court within Chinatown plenty of other Asian restaurants in this food court, including Vietnamese, Chinese, and Filipino food. Very kind people working at this place.
