This review is long overdue! Kathy makes the best individual-sized pies!! Over the years I've had the pleasure of trying a whole lot of the sweet pies, the chicken pot pie, and a variety of fresh mochi. Yesterday I was at a workshop where they had catered Sweet Revenge so I got chicken pot pie and a strawberry mochi pie. The chicken pot pie is exquisite and VERY filling (I ate half at lunch and saved the other half for dinner). The crust is phenomenal- very buttery and flakey. And it is PACKED with chunks of tender chicken (and some peas and carrots). When I crave chicken pot pie it's always this one I want. The strawberry mochi pie was also delightful with lots of fresh strawberry and mochi chunks on top of a good amount of custard. Every bit of it had all the flavors. And although it's definitely sweet, it wasn't overwhelmingly so. I would definitely recommend both. read more

The crust was perfectly golden and flaky -- not soggy, not too thick, just that buttery, shatter-when-you-touch-it kind of crust. Inside was creamy, savory goodness packed with tender chunks of chicken and veggies that still had a little bite. It tasted homemade in the best way, like the upgraded gourmet version of something your favorite aunt would make. But the real surprise star? The strawberry banana custard pie topped with mochi. I did not expect to love this as much as I did. The custard was silky and not overly sweet, the strawberries added a fresh brightness, and the banana gave it that smooth, mellow flavor that tied everything together. And the mochi on top? Trying Sweet Revenge chicken pot pies tonight. Each pot pie is almost 1 lb. Baking instructions are 350F for 60-90 minutes. They are fully cooked so I just need to watch for a nice crispy crust. New menus come out every Monday. The owner is very nice. I was list so I called and she explained the process. Ordering was very easy. Just send a text to their number. They are on Facebook and Yelp. You can order already baked or frozen so you can bake yourself She also has a big pink truck and is at various locations around town. She also shares her story and it's very admirable. No revenge, just a sweet pie! Hanging with my friend Li Y. she asked if I'd tried Sweet Revenge, which I hadn't. We made a detour and called in to see if they still had pies and to our luck they did! It pays to call. Sweet Revenge offers as a food truck (for the most part) and sells its items at various farmers markets, fairs, etc. My experience was a bit different as we called to place and order for pick up at their storefront. By the time we arrived, our pies were ready and looked fabulous. She even kindly added on some delicious mochi which was appreciated! I got the Fresh Mango Pie for my Dad. I only had a bite but it was fresh, flaky, slightly sweet, and mango-forward. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite. If I come back, I'd try their savory pies! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this business yet. This is a food truck (bright pink in color, called "Pinky") that's known for their gourmet pies, mochi, cookies, etc. all made with creative and local flavors. The food truck can be found at select farmers' markets during the day (find them on IG to get their weekly schedule and menu) or you can pick up their items at their kitchen in Kalihi during certain days/hours. I used to visit them at the Hawaii Kai farmers market every Tuesday afternoon, but sadly they're no longer there. Now I just place my order online at SweetRevengeHonolulu.com and pick it up at her kitchen in Kalihi. I believe they're open Wed. - Sat., 10am - 2pm as of March 2023. She accepts Venmo, which makes it real easy to order and pay. The owner, Kathy, is a hard-working lady who makes incredible desserts based on the season, so there tends to be new items on the menu each month. Some of my favorite items are: 1. Lilikoi butter - they come in small mason jars. I spread it on a toasted English muffin for breakfast and it's the best thing ever! 2. Sweet & savory pies - they're mini in size (I can usually eat one in two days). My absolute favorite is the lilimansi, which is a combination of lilikoi and calamansi that's poured into a freshly baked graham crust. It tastes like a key lime pie, but it's so much better! I also enjoy her chicken pot pie. It's filled with lots of chicken, gravy, carrots and peas in a buttered crust, and it's bursting with flavor! 3. Mochi - it's not always on the menu, but when it is, I always order it! Her mochi comes in a bento box (6 pieces) and it's super soft and fresh. Rumor has it that she learned how to make mochi from her grandfather who owned Fujiya, which is my favorite mochi ever! I'm so glad I discovered her truck because it's such a treat to try her new items and to know that my tried and true favorites are always available. I saw a news report prompting their fun Star Wars-themed names for their pies for May the 4th Be with You day. That was just the push to get me to order the Porg (chicken) pot pie and the Lando Calamasian (calamansi lime and lilikoi) pie. Their pink truck goes to different farmers markets, but you can also order online to pickup from their base in Kalihi or get them delivered if you order enough. I placed an order online to pickup at one of the farmers markets to guarantee my selections. They accept payment via Venmo online. Ok on the pies! Porgs are delicious! Just kidding the chicken was very good in the pie with big chunks of meat along with carrots and peas. This is not a soupy pot pie but that doesn't mean this one is dry. The meat was moist and I was surprised how much there was inside the pie. The crust is flakey and buttery. I was very satisfied with it and have not had a pot pie in a long time. It was comforting to eat. The calamansi lime and lilikoi (passionfruit) pie was also very good. Nice sweet and tart combination with the lime and lilikoi flavors. It seems to be a little more lilikoi flavored. The pies are on the pricey side being 5" in diameter and currently $12 each. I was treated to their lemon meringue pie. It's the bomb, literally like a marshmallow meringue bomb! The topping is pleasantly sweet with a creamy marshmallowy texture, enhanced by the caramel notes of the browned waves on top. The lemon filling is light and not too tart, just enough to balance out the sweet topping. The crust is very thin and flakey. I would definitely get this one again! I also tried the blueberry pie. I enjoyed the nice top crust, glistening with large sugar crystals. It was chock full of small whole blueberries, but I'd prefer if they were a little more cooked and the filling had more of a jammy consistency. I used to always buy Sweet Revenge pies when she was at the open market on Ft. Street when I worked in downtown. But that was a few years ago. And now that I'm working in town again, I'm so happy I get to buy her pies again at the farmers market at the church on Makiki Street. I got the Chocolate pb mochi pie & the Yelp pie. I usually never eat chocolate but the mochi made me do it. Lol and I'm so glad I did because it was so good. It was like you were eating peanut butter mochi. The Yelp pie was really good too & I loved the fresh strawberries. I love that she always has new pies and ones that are so different from any other place that sells pies. Just as a heads up, give them some time to prepare your order as the sweet pies are usually made to order (meaning they put the topping on when you order it). Yelpers, don't hate me please, but I wasn't a huge fan of the sweet pies from Sweet Revenge. We visited the truck at the Kasier HS Farmers Market and I've heard a lot of great things about it so my friends and I decided to each get a pie from here. The pies are about $10-11 on average, so I was expecting a pretty big size, only to find out it was only about 6". I got the Pumpkin Crunch ($11) which was probably my favorite out of the four we got, but the most I'd be comfortable pay for it is like $8. The walnut cookie crumb topping was good, and the pumpkin layer wasn't as sweet as other pumpkin crunch so it was easy to eat, but I wasn't a fan of the airy whipped cream or the crust which was actually a little chewy? and not flaky or buttery. The Meyer Lemon Meringue ($11) was super pretty but extremely tart. The Mango Crumble ($11) featured fresh local mangoes hidden under a layer of crumb topping. I enjoyed the flavor of the ripe mangoes but overall there was absolutely no sweetness to the dessert. The Lilimansi ($11) had a nice flavor to it but the texture of the inside was a little too firm to be enjoyed thoroughly. All the pies featured the butter crust, and maybe it was just because I didn't like that crust that my overall perception of the pies weren't as good. The pies weren't bad per say, but I just can't justify paying so much for a small mediocre pie (although I do commend them for using local products). read more

The pies and other confectionaries here are my secret obsession. For years I have been enjoying owner Kathy Masunaga's delicious savory as well as sweet pies. Have hunted her down at various Farmers Markets. I became a semi-regular customer when she briefly made her offerings at UH medical school cafeteria. This past week I finally made it to her production location and enjoyed not only pies but the most scrumptious filled mochi as well. Sweet Revenge has a chicken potpie listed as one of the top 100 things to eat while in Hawaii. I absolutely LOVE the Japanese chicken curry pot pie, the darkside pie (a healthier quiche like version pie), and all of her quiche creations. If you ever see a seasonal pie on the menu, do yourself a favor and GET IT! Summer had me at fresh mango cheesecake and fresh baked mango pie. Just recently was over the top with Kathy's watermelon pie. And the fresh mochi...wow that mochi! Flavors like chantilly, red velvet, fresh strawberry,peanut butter, mac nut...no can go wrong! Flaky, lightly salted, vegetable shortening based crust, blind baked before being filled with a tangy cream cheese (also lightly salted), topped with fresh, ultra sweet Hayden and floral Pirie mango glazed with a tangy, acidic lilikoi syrup and topped with unsweetened whipped cream. Incredibly refreshing. Extremely well controlled sweetness with just the right amount of salt to make all the ingredients sing. Tempus fugit, mango season is almost over. The lilikoi chiffon pie, refreshingly good. Same flaky crust but instead filled with a airy, tart, zesty, intensely flavored lilikoi whipped mousse. The tartness is so mouth bracing that it makes the unsweetened whipped cream taste sweet. A very refreshing pie that goes perfectly with a crisp white wine. Tip: Eat the pies the same day of purchase. Wait too long and the moisture of the ingredients will soften the crust into a pasty mess. Call in advance to reserve. I've heard about the fabulous pies, read reviews, looked at photos, and never had the opportunity to get a pie or two... Until today... I usually wake up hungry. I catch up with texts and emails while I figure out what day it is and decide on what to eat. I realized that today, Wednesday, August 5, 2020, Sweet Revenge would be at the Honolulu Farmer's Market at the Blaisdell Center. Great! I've been there before and I knew that parking would be free in the parking lot (entrance on King Street). I arrived around 4pm when the Market opened. I walked around the perimeter of the group of vendors, searching for the Sweet Revenge booth. Aha! Two women manned the table (near the Box Office and Front Door of the Concert Hall) which was surrounded by large coolers, filled with various assortment of pies! Yippee! Scanning the menu, I zeroed in on six pies: 1. Yelp Pie - how can I not get this? It's fresh strawberries on a bed of creamy panna cotta! 2. Lilikoi Chiffon Pie - a bit denser than the kind found on the island of Kauai. Subtle Passionfruit flavor 3. Bellini - very elegant and sophisticated champagne taste with thin slices of peach, arranged to look like a beautiful blossom on the top! 4. Fresh Mango Pie - fully committed to the bold Mango flavor! Chunks of fresh fruit are amazing! 5. Quiche - moist and fluffy! Filled with mushrooms, bacon, cheese, and spinach! 6. Chicken Pot Pie - buttery, flakey crust! Delicious, tender chicken filling! It sure lives up to the hype! I'm so happy that my food goal was achieved! Okay - I've been noticing Sweet Revenge (SR) for YEARS now. Every so often I'd see these small pies on social media, more so on January 23rd National Pie Day and March 14th National Pi Day. With these cute pie pics I'll come across some Yelp reviews. These factors made want to give SR a try but never got off the sofa. I was too comfy. Or, maybe I was just pure lazy. But, then you have Kathy A., one of the coolest Yeeps I know, recently post a pic of fresh mango pie from SR. I was like, "Dang......." I knew I had to get it and moved very fast. How fast do you ask? The very next day I called SR at 7:20am - - yes, I called first thing in the morning. I wasn't sure how much advance notice is required for the fresh mango pie, now that mangoes are in season. I did my due diligence by checking out what other flavors I wanted to try. Several friends rave over the Lilikoi Chiffon and then I came across Pumpkin Crunch, a local favorite dessert that's eaten all-year around and super popular during holiday gatherings. My decision was made. I spoke with Kathy Masunaga to place my order but was asked to text her my order as she wasn't at site yet. I also had to indicate a pick-up time for these pies and was advised to come after 12pm as the fresh mango pies require time for preparation. I also had to run some errands in Chinatown so I strategically timed my stops during my lunch break. The storefront for SR is located on the Diamond Head side of Robello Lane, which is not too far from Tamashiro Market. As I arrived Robello Lane, I drove slowly looking for their signage but spotted their famous pink trunk that can be found at various Farmer's Markets on Oahu, such as Blaisdell, Queen's Medical Center, Makiki, Kailua, Fort Street Mall and Windward Mall. After taking some pics to document for my review, I walked up all anxiously to pick-up my order. A younger tatted girl seemed quite lost when I gave her my name and order content. She then disappeared. Next, Kathy came to assist me as she received my text order. Within several minutes, my 6 pies were bagged up and I paid for my purchase. I placed the bag carefully in my car as I didn't want to damage my $60 worth of dessert. LOL. I drove back to my office and carefully opened the pies and to a slight disappointment, the fresh mango pie looked really fresh but sadly it didn't sit in a refrigerator long enough to allow the pie to sit and firm up. The whipped cream had semi melted so I immediately put the pies in the refrigerator right away to allow it to chill before dinner. VERDICT: All 3 of the pies were overall very good with mixed opinions. I personally enjoyed the mango as I really appreciated the fresh local mangoes used. But the cream cheese filling was quite rich and competed with the fresh mango chunks. The melted whipped cream sadly wasn't sweetened and got lost in the mixture. The pumpkin crunch lived up as our popular, local favorite dessert and the crumble top was amazing. The Lilikoi chiffon was executed very well but the crust had an execution flaw. It was generally flaky but some parts were chewy. Also. for all of these pies, the crusts seemed more like a savory crust and it didn't quite compliment the fillings. In summary, I had an above average experience with SR and so glad I finally tried them. However, these pies are quite pricey. I'm not sure about the pie's value. These gourmet pies are great to treat yourself once in a while but not on a regular basis in my books. read more

Wow, that was a knock your socks off Mango Pie! My family has recently found and fallen in love with Sweet Revenge and I don't think it will be a short lived affair. First, The Chicken Pot Pie. We buy them frozen and when we are ready for dinner we pop them into the oven at 350° for about 75 minutes. Golden, bubbling pies of goodness with large chunks of chicken, peas & carrots and savory gravy. We had some left over mashed potatoes with gravy from Popeyes the night before and it went really well with the pies. The pies themselves are more than enough for me but the guys just felt more was needed without eating an additional pie. I had dessert on my mind so I didn't want more. My dessert of choice both times I've bought these babies was been the fresh Mango Pie. I am absolutely head over heels in love with it. Not sure how long mango season is but it will be my go to dessert until it's no longer available. The crust is very thin and crisp. Not sweet, so in my opinion it's the perfect foil for the light cheesecake filling under the delicious mango and jelly like filling. Add to that the lightly sweet whipped cream piped around the pie it's delightfully satisfying. It's not sweet but not tart, just perfect for anyone who loves mangoes and a refreshing albeit refrigerator cheesecake. We've had the Black Bottom Banana Pie, excellent. The Strawberry Mochi Pie, excellent. The Chicken Pot Pie, excellent. I'm ready to try the Beef Pot Pie and several other too. Knowing Sweet Revenge and enjoying their food treats for nearly 10 years, I need to compliment them on the Chicken Pot Pie which is, after all these years, still my favorite. The crust of the Chicken Pot Pie is buttery and flaky!!! The chicken filling is made up of hand cut veggies and the chicken bites are HUGE. The sauce is subtle letting the taste of the buttery crust and moist roasted chicken take the lead in taste. Let's see... the sweets. My favorite is the Lilikoi Chiffon Pie. Same flaky crust and a nice Chiffon filling. The chiffon filling is so fluffy its like eating air (if you can imagine that) The best news is that their website has been updated. You will be able to see their schedule that is, where the pink truck is parked and on what days AND put yourself on the mail list for the weekly specials. You type what items you would like, pick-up time, place of pick-up, and personal information for example your name, email, & phone number. It's nice that they have a list of select days where the pick-up location is. After you submit the order form, you'll have to wait for a response via email for payment I picked up my order at their kitchen in Honolulu on Thanksgiving. Quite a long line and wait but the staff were kind and working hard. Worth the wait. They had written the time & degrees to bake these pot pies and they came out great out of the oven. Chicken Pot Pies is a 5-inch-deep dish with carrots, peas, butter crust, and the chicken & gravy was made from scratch. They're small but very filling, delicious savory pies. The frozen chicken pot pies were $12 each. No complaints about the price because they made these from scratch. I would say the website should be updated more if new items are being sold. I picked up a Chicken Pot Pie from @sweetrevengehnl the other day at her kitchen in Kalihi & it was pretty good! I also got a Pumpkin Crunch Pie but forgot to take a photo before devouring it. . Her kitchen is located off of Robello Lane in Kalihi. You can either drive into the fenced area which has a few parking stalls or find a spot on the street. read more

I feel like I've been following Kathy and her pies for almost a decade now! Can't believe I haven't written a review til now... I first heard of Sweet Revenge from my dearest friend Diana who actually urged me to get on Yelp and review my heart out! Thanks guuurrrlll! So, she mentioned the personal sized pies and how unique some of the flavors were and of course I had to see for myself. I finally found the truck at a Kid's Fest event at the State Capital and purchased 3: Smores, bacon mac & cheese and chicken pot pie. I don't care for peas or carrots but I tolerate them or pick them out of the chicken pot pie lol. She makes it a point to state there's no celery in them, but I would choose celery over the peas! The crust is the best though! As for the Smores, love everything about it! And the bacon mac & cheese... although it is good, I probably wouldn't get it unless I was in a huge mood for it. The pies were great, I just don't need to be spending all my money on them. The prices per pie is about $9-$10. Which isn't outrageous, but not cheap enough to buy one of each for taste testing... I could only dream. I can't remember how but I am subscribed to the emails and follow by social media. I'm always up to date on locations and events the truck will attend. It's not always the most convenient since most times the truck is in Town but I definitely suggest trying at least once. If Kathy isn't around, her "elfs" surely are. I've been wanting to try Sweet Revenge for a while now. I finally got to go to their booth while at the Best of Honolulu fair. All of their pies they were selling looked so good. I think I came back three times because I couldn't decide which one to get. I wanted to try a sweet one and a savory one. I can't eat too much chocolate since it gives me heart palpitations so I went for a lilikoi pie. For the savory one I chose the chicken pot pie. The sign said that it was one of people's favorite ones. I didn't get a chance to eat it there so I took it home. The lilikoi pie was okay. I think the crust needed to be cooked a little longer and the filling was okay. But the absolute winner was the chicken pot pie. I can see why everyone loves that one. The crust on it was amazing and it went well with the fillings inside. The pie was a good size too. I shared with my husband and he loved it also. They also have a Japanese curry one too. I'd like to try that someday. The lady I spoke to said that they are mostly at events or farmers markets. She said that they have a place where you can order ahead of time to pick up. I can't wait to try something different from there! And get another chicken pot pie, of course. read more

I've been coming to sweet revenge for years and my favorite is the chicken pot pie, made with love and great ingredients with generous amounts of chicken, carrots and peas. You can tell the attention placed on making these pies as the pies all has a heart on the crust. The chicken pot pie is $11 and always buy it for a meal since it's not something I'd bother making for myself. She also makes excellent dessert pies, fruit pies and Mochi and other meal type pies. You can find sweet revenge at the Windward Mall farmers market, fort street farmers market and the blaisdell market. They also have a shop in town as well! I like supporting local business and the owner Inspires me w her story of being a single mom and starting her own business w sweet revenge. Today, sweet revenge returned to the Windward mall farmers market as there's been a stop w the indoor farmers market during covid, so happy they are back in Kaneohe on Sunday mornings. Their new spot is outside of Mark's hallmark area in the mall on Sunday mornings. Under any other circumstance I would give Sweet Revenge five stars, but with the confusion around ordering, I just can't do it. I hope and pray to all the gods that someone can help the owner with her website and ordering so she can do what she does best - and that's make incredible sweet treats. I will say she probably had her hands full with orders for Mother's Day. That's when we ordered. I went to the website and couldn't figure out where to go, so I typed my order in the questions box. I received a message back to use the order form. The order form is labeled as a same-day order. So, since this was advance, it was confusing. There were two sizes of the Mother's Day mochi dessert package, so I called and asked how I differentiate between the two on the order form. She said just, type it in the comments at the end. Because you do that, it doesn't total correctly. I got a little frustrated and tried to message on Instagram to confirm my order, but no message back. In fact, you don't get any confirmation, email or otherwise. So, when Mother's Day arrived, we were shocked to receive two text messages (we tried to order twice) to come and pick up our stuff. Apparently the order went in twice. Frustrating or no, the lilikoi chiffon was one of the best things ever. I hate fruit, but my girlfriend and mother were very happy with it. In fact, my mom was already a fan of sweet revenge (named after a divorce, I guess) and tried to order the lilikoi chiffon herself the following week. She said it wasn't as good as the one on Mother's Day. Must have been the special seasoning from the ordering pain. The mochi order came in a beautifully wrapped lacquer box and included strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter - it was all amazing with a mochi so pillowy soft! You can order online or catch her at various farmers' markets around town. You don't have to pay in advance, but if you do, know that it's via Venmo and the website is quirky. If you pick-up at her warehouse/shop, pay there if you don't feel comfortable with Venmo. Everything is wonderful, you can't go wrong. read more

Savory pies. Sweet dessert pies. Mochi. After 25 years of marriage, Kathy Masunaga went on her own in 2012, starting HI's first pie food truck, called Bliss Bakery & then changed to Sweet Revenge (SR). No, the name doesn't call attention to her divorce, but rather, her ability to become independent & the sole breadwinner of two young boys, which was an affirmation of her & the happiness that she had in baking these treats. Her signature hot pink truck, named "Pinky," could be seen at the Eat the Street food truck rallies in Kakaako during its early years; & now, at various farmers' markets on Oahu. Kathy's "sweet revenge" has come to fruition with her continued success of delivering her specialty pies from Pinky at farmers' markets and a brick-and-mortar commercial kitchen shop in Palama. Baking is no stranger to Kathy. Her grandfather founded Fujiya, Ltd., which is known for their Japanese sweets, such as mochi & senbei. While growing up, Kathy learned to make these sweets by watching her dad tinker with new products & saw the importance of product quality. She started baking desserts for a caterer, who also was her mentor in selling her baked goods at farmers' markets. So, it's no surprise that SR offers many different savory & sweet pies & occasionally, homemade mochi. We were excited that SR has recently being added to the Kaiser High PTSA Farmer's Market, as my access to their pies is now so convenient. We're now regular customers who pre-order a pie per week & have enjoyed them immensely. We have tried the following thus far: * Chicken Pot Pie. Their specialty, this savory pie is chock full of tasty chicken, carrots, peas, mushrooms & gravy in & topped with a buttery crust (no celery added, as Kathy does not like it). Lots of chicken in this pie, which is a meal by itself & so flavorful with all the ingredients complementing each other. You can also get it frozen to bake at home. * Chicken Cordon Bleu Pot Pie. Lots of chicken with a garlicky gravy & a layer of ham & Gruyere cheese in a buttery crust & with a crispy panko top crust. Similarly delicious as with the chicken pot pie, but more pronounced with the cheese & the crispy panko. * Mango Crumb Pie. Only available during mango season, this amazing pie is packed with fresh local mangoes baked in a butter crust & a streusel topping. This is so delicious with vanilla ice cream! Note that this pie differs from the Mango Cream Pie, as the Mango Crumb Pie does not have any cream cheese. If you're a mango lover, this is for you. * Peaches & Cream Pie. Fresh peaches are baked with a layer of custard cream in & topped with a buttery crust. So flavorful with sweet peaches in season! * Chocolate After Dinner Mint Pie. For chocolate lovers, chocolate mousse topped with chopped Andes mints, mint chips, toffee bits, & a drizzle of chocolate ganache, & finished with minty whipped cream in a butter crust. Not overly sweet or rich, this delicious pie is amazingly one of Kathy's best! * Mochi Bento. This comes with 6 white mochi with 6 different fillings: peanut butter crunch, smores (handmade marshmallows & chocolate-covered Speculoos pieces), red velvet with cream cheese, pumpkin crunch, fresh lychee with cream cheese, & Chantilly chocolate crunch. Wow! Not very often Kathy makes these, but she uses her skills learned from her family's former business, Fujiya, Ltd., that specialized in mochi. Her creative fillings in these mochi are unique & absolutely delicious & amazing! The pies are 5" deep dish, & while they appear to be small, the high quality of ingredients, e.g., butter, & generous fillings justify its prices. 9" pies are available on request. Check her weekly menu that is posted on her Facebook page which may include: quiche, enchilada, lilikoi/calamansi, lilikoi chiffon, lemon meringue, strawberry, pumpkin crunch, mountain apple, & lots more. What I enjoy about Sweet Revenge's pies & mochi is that everything is made from scratch using high quality ingredients. Now, where would you find anyone making their own marshmallows or pumpkin mixture using fresh pumpkin (not canned pumpkin)? And, Kathy is always trying something new, with her creations going into rotation & you'll never know what she dreams of next! She admits it takes a lot of time & effort on her part (any baker will tell you that you need to keep at it to get it right, and it's not often at the first time), but she says that it's worth the effort. You can see that she's not afraid of working hard, especially if she loves doing what she does, which is like 12 hours a day, 7 days a week! She's at her kitchen at 4:30a each morning, using that quiet time to plan her day. Amazing! We can't wait until next week to pick-up our next pie at Kaiser's farmer's market! We anxiously await Kathy's menu to see what she creates next & know that whatever we get, it's her unique creation made with love that is not duplicated elsewhere! read more
