I was so excited when my husband asked me to pick a place for him to pick up lunch for us because I immediately thought of this cafe . I sent him the directions and he arrived which he was greeted rudely and brushed off by the male employee working today at approximately 1 pm . He was standing at the counter and no one was there for about 5 mins he waited again and finally a worker came out that was not helpful at all I asked my husband to see what the daily special was when the worker responded he said "what daily special idk what your talking about " . He rolled his eyes at my husband and muttered something underneath his breathe. Seems like this place is more for the vape than the cafe . No stars and won't be coming back . Don't waste your time here got to Machetes which is really awesome sandwich shop down the road at dillingham and have great customer service !!

Not your average convenience store. They offer delicious coffee, boba drinks, flat bread pizza and sandwiches all for an average of $10

Chicken club sandwich for $12! It's huge and ono! Boar's Head meat!

absolutely love this place! The pastrami slammer is the best and their drinks are good, except the boba balls are always undercooked...

I love the cozy Japan vibes of this cafe. It's small with limited seating so I recommend doing to-go but it would be nice to have a coffee date here. My bf & I got two drinks to-go -- the matcha latte & yuzu choco oat cold brew. We both really enjoyed our drinks. I also got two bottled drinks -- the ume iced tea & lilikoi lemonade which were also sooo yum. The worker let me sample these two which was nice. I enjoyed the bottled drinks a couple days later, it was a refreshing treat. The staff were friendly & it didn't take long for us to get our drinks. The only challenge may be finding parking as they have only a few stalls in front. We ended up parking a little up the street on the opposite side. It was a short walk to the cafe & well worth it! Will be stopping by again soon for my matcha & tea fix.

I don't know if they only prefer locals, but if you're visiting and want a cute local coffee shop, you can skip or try the place next door. I was seated at a table waiting when the barista calls my name because 1 of 3 drinks I ordered was ready. I go up to get it, it's not labeled and he doesn't say what it is. While I'm trying to figure it out he asks me to step away from the counter. Mind you, I was seated, he called me up for part of my order, AND didn't tell me what the drink he called my name for was. He had a flow and wanted some space and I don't want to stand at the counter so it was no big deal. Then while I am waiting of to the side for the other beverages, he tells a regular customer that they are out of cold brew and asks if he would like an americano (after he just handed me a cold brew) so either I got the last cold brew on a Friday at 10am or they played me and gave me an americano. Those two things together made me feel like it wasn't a welcome space for people who weren't regulars.

I'd been curious about trying their matcha offerings, so I was excited. We came on a holiday morning, and there wasn't anyone inside. The cafe is cute and vibey! Love how pet-friendly it is with the polaroids--I'd definitely bring my pup here. There's also a decent amount of seating to hang out or work at. Service was fine. I ordered at the register, and she made my drink immediately. I was intrigued by their Haupia Matcha Latte. I love all things Haupia, so it seemed like the perfect match. I got the Haupia Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, and it was superb. I loved how creamy it was, how the sweetness of the haupia shone, but the earthiness of the matcha was still there. I'd definitely recommend this drink and am curious about their others. Hello Again is a nice cafe addition to Chinatown. With all the cafes in the area, it's worth a visit if you're a matcha lover like me. Find the cafe off Nuuanu Ave., unassuming on the outside but nicely sized once you go in! Parking is limited to the street or nearby municipal parking.

They have small tables and cubicle-style setups with charging ports, so it's easy to settle in, sip, and work if you want. I came mainly to unwind and try a few of their matcha drinks. The banana bread latte is one I personally like, and the haupia matcha has a nice coconut kick. The ube matcha latte was just okay--the matcha overpowered the ube and the flavor kind of drifted. Not sure if the powder was a bit heavy that day or if the water temperature played a role, but I wouldn't order that one again. There are still other flavors I haven't tried, plus milk alternatives like oat milk available. A fun touch is the cameras they place on the tables so you can snap photos of your drink, yourself, friends, or whatever. Just know they may post some of the pics on their social media from time to time--it's a cute way to bring the community together. Hours are short, so check their socials before heading over. Overall, I love the aesthetic of the café and the matcha is decent for a quick fix. I'd definitely come back.

Maybe hardly anyone orders it or she was new and learning? It did take a while for me to get my coffee. The waiting area is quite small so there wasn't much room for me to go anywhere. Overall, the drinks have been good with a variety of seasonal drinks and specials as well. I'll probably return for my coffee fix as it seems to be one of the few coffee shops in the area open on Sundays. Happy Drinking!

I had tried their drinks at a previous pop-up at Fishcake but it's been a while. I was curious about their biko coffee and needed an extra caffeine boost so I got that! I felt kind of bad because it was a one person show and the owner guy had to accommodate a lot of customers by himself! It was a hot day and a cold drink sounded great. I heard someone mention there was a coffee vendor but the person made it sound like they were only selling cups of hot or iced coffee. Then someone walked by with a matcha drink and I knew I needed to check out Panday's booth. There was a small line of customers and the guy was working hard to chat with people, collect payments and make drinks. When it was my turn, I ordered the "Biko" coffee which is their special Filipino rice/coconut/condensed milk coffee. He said he probably didn't have enough and I should look over the menu to see if I had a second choice. I chose the banana matcha and he said he didn't have any banana syrup. I mean maybe the event was so popular that he ran out of drinks quicker than expected. I guess he was the only food/drink vendor at the event and it was a hot day.... In the end, he had enough Biko for my drink and everything was fine. It was a good latte and flavorful, but idk if I'd go out of my way to find it in the future. I do want to try the banana matcha still though. For a one man operation, this guys is killing it. He makes the espresso shots to order, so drinks may take a little while to get made. He was good at chatting up people in line while we waited though. Hopefully I'll see panday coffee at another event soon!
