First off, the energy in there was amazing! The girls there were very friendly and welcoming. My facial was done by Kaylee Vincent! I got the express facial, and what I liked about it the most was that Kaylee personalized the facial for my skins specific needs. My skin is very sensitive and a bit damaged from product misuse. I'm the type of person that gets stressed out when I see new breakouts and so I'll pile on hella product. The results of that have been hella over drying and my skin has thinned out. Basically idk wtf I'm doing lol. But Kaylee explained all of this too me so I left with some take home knowledge about how to further care for my skin. I literally just got done with my appointment with Brianna and I couldn't be happier! WHY DOES ANYONE WAX ANYMORE?! Why am I just starting this now?? This hurts way less than waxing. 1. The Yelp deal is such a bargain for this type of quality service! Do it. 2. This was my first time getting sugared and I was so nervous, but Brianna really made the whole situation comforting and not scary at all! She was really informative and easy to talk to. PLEASE READ! If I could give zero stars I would! I have been Brazilian waxing for about a year now and thought I'd try this place as it is much closer to my house than my current sugaring facility. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CHEAT ON MY SUGAR FACILITY! The technique was much different from what I was used to which I thought was no big deal everyone does their work differently but the girl rushed and just ripped at my skin and it has never hurt that much. THAT WAS YESTERDAY 01/11/2020, today is 01/12/2020 and I woke up still feeling really sore, so I got in the shower not thinking anything and I look down and it looks like my vagina has acne! There are puss filled pockets ALL OVER MY SKIN and I have never had that happen EVER!!!!! Idk what the hell they did to my skin but it looks bad like real bad and I had surgery there about a year ago so I take very good care of my lady parts because I don't want a repeat of my situation that had occurred. Never again will I go back please ladies read this and take care of your kitties because this place was horrible and now all I'm left with is not even smooth skin instead it looks like a puss filled rash. Update: today is 01/14/2020 and I had to go to the doctors. Someone from the facility tried telling me it was my lymph nodes draining, however that was not the case. My dr. looked at it and immediately said it was a bacterial infection. Love that for me. I understand the owners response and as I spoke with her almost a week ago I believe, i am educated on bacteria and such I do work in a stem cell research facility. Bacteria that is already involved in our bodies would build an immunity and no longer effect us in such ways. This place was not clean, I did NOT have any "pre treatment" applied to the skin. However the owner did issue a refund but that doesn't overpower the situation that occurred. Regardless of how it's seen, it is what it is. read more

Sorry in advance. For people who don't care about my back story, please jump down to the second paragraph. Anyway, I used to have so much trouble finding a good brow artist. I threaded for years not realizing how bad that was messing with my hair growth and natural arches; they literally cut them off and made my brows more round instead of leaving the natural arch alone. I was so close to considering microblading because I felt my brows were THAT bad. Once I realized threading was no good, my cousin told me about someone but he was in LA. That was not only a drive, but expensive. He was great too, don't get me wrong, but, ideally, I just wanted to find something close as planning an all day LA trip once a month is not in the cards for me. So I found another girl through a coworker who was in Tustin. I thought okay this seems promising. WRONG. Although she was good and kept a good conversation, she ended up cancelling on me right before my appt - which I was right out front of and had rushed from work to. Anyway, needless to say it was time for a change. I had been following The Sugared Belle on Instagram for a few months, even while going to other places, bc I was always curious about sugaring. Keeping this in mind, I made an appt for designer brows and tint, but I was skeptical. Not only have I had terrible luck with brow artists, but I've always been ill informed. I read a more than a few reviews and saw that Monica does a great job so I thought "what the hell?! Let's give her a go." I was sort of anxious heading to my first appt - ample parking btw - but honestly once I got there I was fine. Monica greeted me, and brought me back. She's so sweet and super friendly. The other artists were lashing their clients in the front room, but they have a separate room for the sugaring clients. We started a conversation, kinda awkwardly, but when isn't it when you're going somewhere for the first time? Any who, I asked about what sugaring consists of and what should I expect. She was super informative and even broke down why it's better on the skin. As she was stenciling my brows, she was showing me how she does it and letting me know, when filling my own in, where I should be marking as my points. I felt like she was teaching me as well as doing a service and that's what I personally like. Once I was finished with my appt she brought me to the front to pay. There was another artist there, I think her name was Raquel and she gave me a few pointers for the next visit as I had some concerns about my oily skin. It was an overall a great experience. the one stars are for my first ever visit there, which was about 2 or 3 years ago and i believe it was the owner who gave me my Brazilian. she was great and i was satisfied the last time i went was about a month and a half ago. Im so disappointed. the girl who gave me my Brazilian was very friendly and chatty but the service hurt BAD. now, not only do i have a high tolerance for pain, but im also an esthetician and have gotten sugared for a few years consistently, as well as using hard wax to do my own brazilian. i kept mentioning to her how much it hurt and if she could pull my skin more taut and press down on the area but she wasn't consistent with that. her method was very inaccurate, the way she pulled the sugaring paste off was just directly up in the air (sugar flying everywhere) and the result? Im left with hyperpigmentation. hyperpigmentation! Im beyond horrified and saddened. I work HARD to keep my skin soft, clear and even toned and to look down and see that on my bikini line makes me want to cry. the part that bugs me the most is that i know i should have asked her to just stop and walked out. Brazilians HURT but if you know your pain tolerance and are familiar with Brazilians and think its hurting way more than it should, then i suggest you politely ask your esthetician to stop, and kindly leave right away otherwise you may be left with hyperpigmentation forever. read more

Call me crazy but I appreciate integrity and professionalism which clearly does not happen at the Sugared Belle anymore. I've been going to the same girl to get my lashes done for almost a year because she is helpful, friendly and does the job right the first time. Today I go in and find out she is no longer with the Sugared Belle I was told they were sorry but they didn't have time to call to let me know if her abrupt departure but they can do my lashes anyway. Long story short my lashes suck, the girl said I had a lot of glue and next time they could work on removing it. Keep in mind the place was completely dead and my normal girl would have never done that. The whole situation seemed sketch to me after all I had been going to the same girl for so long and if she had a client show up late she would let me know so I wouldn't be waiting. I called my friend who also goes there and found out my girl has been gone for over a week so not only do my lashes suck they lied to me on top of it. My friend and I are never going back and I don't recommend anyone trying this place. So I wrote this review months ago and just saw the notification that the Sugared Belle replied. I just want to clarify a few things being nice to the person that does your lashes does not make you friends it makes you a decent person. Secondly in 2 year of getting lash extensions I have never napped and always schedule my relash while I am in the shop which as your records will show I did not nor did I ever return. Replying to my review and lying about my experience in an attempt to discredit my review only further goes to show you and your employees have a lack or morals. I went in for a bombshell walk-in, the place had a nice aesthetic however I was highly disappointed. After my sugar with Raquel I immediately noticed patches of hair she had missed and it wasn't just subtle patches. I paid 63.25 just for me to go home and finish cleaning up what she had missed. Such a great experience from beginning to end!! I've been seeing Marley once a month at The Sugared Belle for almost a year now. I see her for my bombshell wax at least once every 4-5 weeks. She has always made me feel totally comfortable & relaxed during my appointments and I always feel totally confident at the end when I leave! She's super easy to talk to and relatable which distracts me from what I signed myself up for to begin with lol! When I first started it, she explained to me what surgaring was and the benefits vs. other hair removal waxes. And like I said, she's super easy to talk to & great at keeping me comfortable, so it's great being able to talk about literally anything else and forget what's even happening at some points in my session. My first appointments weren't even as painful compared to the hard waxing I used to do, and they've only gotten easier and easier with time.
