I've been coming here since January for sugaring and the last couple of months for lashes. I had never waxed or sugared before coming here, but after doing a bit of research, sugaring seems the way to go! I understand the same day cancellation/reschedule policy but considering that we're all women and deal with the same type of feminine issues I would think there would be some consideration for when you start your period and can no longer come in for a sugar wax. How am I suppose to know my period will be coming in less then 24 hours and call and reschedule? There should at LEAST be a 1x grace period. This was my first time receiving a sugaring service and I am disappointed. I gave 2 stars because Melly was kind and conversational but there was sugar flying everywhere, I felt coerced into getting more services, and the results were disappointing. I had significant patches of hair left all over my body despite having multiple body hair removal services performed. I went home and tried to take care of the rest, but stopped after 40 mins since it was too much. I am unsure of how so much hair was not removed even after pointing it out. I also got a Brazilian and there were A LOT of hairs left everywhere afterwards. Now that hair is growing back, there are ingrowns and it's very uncomfortable. I have hyperpigmentation and pimpling as well which isn't something I've ever had happen before. The facility was visually appealing, but didn't feel too sanitary as the towel I was laying on ultimately came from under me and I was exposed on the reclining chair and gloves weren't changed out. I feel extremely bad giving this place a 3 star considering everyone that's left a review has received great service. I found this sugaring place on Yelp and figured that I'd give them a try. I have had gotten sugared before and the only reason why I stopped was because the location that I went to was too far and their hours didn't work with my schedule -- the Sugared Belle was about 10 minutes from work so I thought I could just get things done during my lunch. My sugarist is named Sherry and she was very friendly and personable. The place itself had a very soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The issue that I had was that I felt like the results could have been better after my brazilian was done. For a service that was $55, I felt like she left a lot of hair behind. After getting sugared, I did go back home and removed the remaining hair one by one using tweezers. I recently went back to my original sugar place and had a Brazilian done there and my results were amazing. I did not mention this experience to my sugarist and I just let her do her thing. She did not miss any hair, was very quick, and I felt like my experience was much less painful. It's a little disappointing that I didn't get the same results as many of the other reviewers did. I was hoping that I could make this my new main sugaring spot since it was just so convenient but I would much rather drive the 40 minutes and take off work early to make it to my original sugaring spot. read more

Inside is super aesthetically pleasing, super cute and modern. I found this spot on Yelp and since it said online "walk-ins welcome" I figured I'd still call to see if there was a wait time. I was able to make an appointment the same day online. The staff was very nice but I'm not sure if the girl doing my service was new but it took over 1 hour AND 30 minutes to sugar just my arms. I had the sugar wax all over and even got in my hair. I've had my arms sugared and waxed before and it has never taken this long to get that done. I got home with patches of hair missed, although she did say I could come back within 5 days I won't be returning. I don't mind if someone is new but I wish I would've known before hand since I had a lot of errands to run that day. read more

This is such a cute place! My sister and I got our lashes done and we are so happy with the results! Brianna and Raquel are awesome and super sweet! Raquel worked on my lashes and as I said before, I'm so happy with the outcome! She is super gentle and light handed. I walked in not knowing what style I wanted and she was patient and great at explaining styles and what might be best for me as a first timer! Before Raquel got her hands on me I had very little lashes with zero volume. It took an awful lot of courage for me to show up to work without any eyeliner or mascara if I wasn't feeling it because I would just look dead and a mess. NOW, if I didn't feel like throwing make up on, I think I could confidently get away with it ha ha! I also had my eyebrows done while I waited for my sister to finish up. Again, I can't say how awesome Raquel was with asking me how I like my eyebrows and what she suggests. I'm always nervous getting my brows done but I'm happy with how clean and shaped she left them! She answers any questions you may have and also walks you through the process. This is such a cute salon! I took my teenage daughter there to get her eyebrows and lip done and Brittany was so great! I was a sugaring virgin prior to this but Brianna was great! I'm 9 months pregnant and wanted to get everything primed and proper down there for the delivery and since I can't reach anymore, I decided to try sugaring as many other moms has recommended. I've tried it all: waxing, depilatory, laser hair removal, shaving, plucking etc. and was surprised how sugaring wasn't nearly as painful as many of the other hair removal methods I've tried. Sugaring!! Wow why haven't I discovered this method before?! After being severely burned at ewc (red for 5 days and tons of bumps, irritation for days!) I was on a hunt to try something new. I was about to go all the way down to long beach to go try this service, but I found 'the sugared belle' and decided to give it a try. Made an apt the night before ONLINE (huge plus) And went in the next morning. Being horrified from my last experience I decided to freak myself out even more and watched videos of what I was going to put myself through. (hey, I like to be educated) As soon as I walked inside Brianna put me to ease. She educated and talked to me about the process and aftercare. It wasn't even that bad! The pulling off of the sugar was a bit to get used to. But totally bearable. More pros: you don't have to grow out as much as waxing. Brianna will forever be my go-to person for sugaring. Prior to coming here, I had never waxed or sugared before in my life. I decided to research a bit about both and eventually chose to try sugaring since most people said it was less painful as I have a very low pain tolerance.
