I come here every few months for a lash lift with Sam. I have tried a lot of different studios before settling on this one. Until I met Sam, I never found anyone who could do the wizardry that she pulls! At other places, my lashes would rarely ever stay lifted longer than a few days, if at all (stubborn super straight Asian lashes). When I go to Sam, my lashes are always evenly and noticeably lifted. Most importantly, THEY LAST WEEEKS. I use Latisse so they don't last as long as lifts normally do but I'm aware and am just glad they stay lifted for as long as they do. I also normally give my lashes a break once they've dropped down to normal before going back to avoid over processing. I just got my first lash lift from Sam and she made the entire experience so comfortable! I don't have the longest lashes but I wanted to make sure my lashes were as separated and fluffy as possible and she made it happen! I'm surprised considering my lashes are always so stubbornly straight (see before and after pics) but now I get to say goodbye to the eyelash curler for at least 6 weeks! The lash lift session was only an hour long and the time went by super fast with all of the super friendly conversation. Sam also addressed all of my concerns and informed me about all of the post-care (which isn't much if you're interested in doing lash lift, basically don't get your lashes wet for the next 24 hours). Found a new go to spot to get my lashes done! Having done my lashes for several years, I am very picky when it comes to getting them done. If I don't absolutely love them the first time I see it, I won't usually go back. But Sam did an amazing job with my set and I'm obsessed! She is your go to girl if you love your volume! I also ask for wispy, but not spiky and she nailed it! She's also very gentle and quick. My eyes can also sometimes be sensitive to the glue and I did not feel any type of burn upon opening them. Do not go here...I got my eyebrows laminated yesterday and they were curly when I woke up this morning. The technician admitted that she had over processed them and that she "felt horrible" about it, but the owner refused to refund my money. She instead offered me some castor oil, which will do absolutely nothing to fix this mess. The only thing that I can do now is wait for my eyebrows to grow out. read more

Winkz lash bar is my go to for lash extensions. The lash bar is cute, clean, comfortable, and the products used are quality. The lash specialists there are patient, nice, and care about your real lash health. I haven't had lash extensions for a few years because it was too time consuming when my kids were younger. I had to take them with me on appointments. Moving forward, my lashes were recently damaged when I had them done at my nail salon for a "really good price." I knew better but went ahead a got a full set for vacation. My lashes were falling out so quickly and I was starting to get patchy spots on my lids. I wanted them removed in less than 2 wks of having them and a new set from Winkz. However my lash specialist Tori advised that I give my lashes a few weeks to grow back before getting new extensions. I was informed my lashes were pretty damaged. And, that the lashes used were too heavy for my real lashes. Instead, she recommended I get a lash perm in the meantime to accentuate my lashes while they grow back. I believe most places would have put on a new set to make money. So I greatly appreciated her honesty and recommendation. I will be going back soon for a full set of lashes. I never got a chance to review Winkz but I am leaving a 5-star in case anyone reading is still on the fence about getting your lashes done. I just had to leave a good review for Tori because as a long time client, I am actually devastated that I have to find a new lash artist since I moved. I have been with Tori for 4 years and my lashes have always had great retention. The quality lashes and glue are very high quality. Glue has never stung my eyes for anyone worried about that. She's always been very kind and she has great music taste (lol) i would seriously fall asleep sometimes because it's just so relaxing!! A sweet touch is she gives out little lash spoolies at the end which is a really nice gesture. Tori and the other girls also provide facial services and other services like lash lifts as well. I'm really happy that I found Winkz lash bar. Although most of the girls have done my lashes and did an amazing job, Sam is my go to girl. She always has such a sweet and warm disposition. She takes the time to listen to your questions, and gives realistic feedback as well as educates her clients. Some last studios will give a client anything they want, and then the client doesn't understand why their lashes are breaking. She sets clear limits to protect her clients lashes while giving them the look that they desire. She's also extremely patient and understands that it might take a while to figure out exactly what you're looking for. Overall this last studio is extremely clean and it is always decorated for the holidays.
