Claire is amazing! I am not a regular eyelash extension person. I have done them 3 times total, all for special occasions. The first and second time I had them done by someone else, and the second time was for my bridal shower. I looked great, but after a few days my eyes felt tugging, pulling and irritated. After a few more days almost all of my extensions AND regular lashes had FALLEN OUT! I was so depressed as my wedding was coming up in 5-6 weeks and I needed the rest of my horrible extensions off. I messaged 4-5 local eyelash extension artists/businesses and I ended up choosing Claire because through our conversations she seemed the most knowledgeable, caring, and informative. I went to Claire to have them removed and she said she couldn't do lashes on me till my own grew out. I liked that she was honest in that she said it was such a short time till my wedding and that strip lashes might be my only choice. I went with her suggestion to try a lash growth serum and low and behold IT WORKED! I used the serum for those 5 weeks and sent a picture to Claire and she said I had enough lashes to go back and get extensions! YESSSSS Now it is 3 weeks since I got them done by Claire. They lasted perfectly throughout my wedding weekend, a week in Bora Bora (swimming in the ocean all day every day), and Coachella - AND THEY ARE STILL THERE. I'm not kidding, they still look super fly!! I would keep them on longer but I love rubbing my eyes and I just need a break from them. I'm currently scheduled to have them removed by Claire but after a short break I will absolutely go back to her. Things I noticed different about Claire's work compared to the others: - PAINLESS: even with Russian volume lashes I couldn't tell I had any on. They were weightless. - They don't fall out like the other ones. It took maybe a week a half to notice 4 lashes fall out. INSANE. - There is no feeling of tugging. This is my second time with Claire Lashes and I am VERY disappointed by her practice. This time I choose the Mega volume full set - Christmas special price(2 hours @ $165.00). My appointment was on 12/14(fri) 130pm. Received a text from Claire 1 hr ahead my appointment time and ask me to change to 2pm. When I told her I am already ON THE WAY to lash studio and probably have to leave by 330pm, she said, anyway if I get there on time(130pm appointment) I can sit and wait till 2pm but she can finish my lashes by 330. Since the ad on her website is (2hrs@$165) so I ask if I should reschedule some other time, but she want to keep the appointment and saying she can get my lashes done by 1 and half hour. After going home, ONLY few days later, my lashes already lose a lot, especially near the corner. (This really make my eye looks very funny, pls see picture). So I try to contact Claire and ask if I can do a refill or any thing she can do to make up the empty corner cuz I don't want my eyes look funny on Xmas! She reply by FB message and told me come in the next day 11am which is only the 8th day after my lashes being done. I reply later and wanted to confirm the 11am but no response till next day near noon. Again, she said didn't see my reply so I have to go in 1pm not 11am and it only needs 15min to refill my lashes. I said OK, see her 1pm that day. When I was ON THE WAY TO The studio and I received a text from Claire telling me that she will charge $80 instead of $90 for this 15mins refill. Because my lashes only one week. I was very surprised and try to ask if she got one week refill price and actually the lashes lose a lot only few days after. She said NO, I can choose either pay $80 dollars to do refill or come back later to do two weeks refill of $90 dollars. Otherwise she got nothing to help me. PS: she said if I contact her WITHIN 7 days, and do the refill WITHIN 7 days, the refill would be FREE! But the point is I contacted her on the 7th day(fri) and her first availability is next day(8th day) SO I HAVE TO PAY 10$ off two week refill $90 price!! Been to so many lashes places, never a place receiving such kind of service while paying these pricy item. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED If u don't wanna spend near two hundred bucks and have to worry about looking funny after that. Find some other reasonable lashes stylist if u can . I decided to try this place out BC its super close to my house. I've tried many different eyelash studios and out of all of them, this one had the best outcome right when I opened my eyes. Normally, I have to tell the other places to add or fix my outer corners, but Claire def knows how to apply lashes to my eye shape. So I decided to get eyelash extensions last minute for my upcoming vacation! The online booking feature was so convenient, and even better that I was able to get an appointment in such short notice (one day prior). The location is easy to find--its the two story building right at the corner of Colima Rd--the plaza right next to Yes plaza. As for the process, total time in and out was approximately 1 hr 30 min. The entire experience was quite relaxing--you lay down on the chair while calming music was playing in the background. Overall, I love my lashes. It did turn out quite natural looking, even though I opted for the volume lashes rather than the classic--the $100 package. I was having trouble contacting someone who was supposed to finish up my lashes but that person never me contact me back. So!! I've decided to look on Yelp. Turn out this one was the best!! Honestly, I've never had someone like Clair who is really patient and very understanding. When I got there, I had to fill out a short form of how is was done and what not to use & do on your lashes. It was quick and after that Clair sat down next to me to explain what type of lashes, length, and how to style them. It was wonderful!! When she was doing my lashes, it was by far relaxing and comfortable. There's a little pillow under your leg to put over to relax them. I love the concept of her idea. The place is very clean and it reminded me of a princess fantasy. Lol she's so adorable! While she was doing my lashes, she also put on relaxing music. Her skills are very gentle and delicate until I fell asleep. Will be coming back soon! If you have any concern or questions feel free to ask her! The eyelashes literally started to fall off within a few days of getting a full set, and I followed all her instructions that she passed out to her clients ...
