This place is my lash magician. As someone who has the shortest and straightest Asian lashes known to mankind, this place is my biggest life saver. I don't wear any makeup, but it doesn't even matter with lash extensions! I look put together on the daily with just lash extensions. I've tried false lashes and they take up so much time and usually do not look anywhere near as natural as lash extensions do! However, must beware of lash extension addiction!! I wouldnt recommend here. First i went in for a new 2 tips lash extensions and the girl convinced me to get hybrid. I didnt really like it... before i told her i liked natural with mascara look but the result looked super fake. But i just live with it and when refill time came i asked a different person (Yuna) and asked her not to use the 3 split ones bc I dont like it. So she just used the thinner single lashes... It looked ok... maybe too natural. Why does it seem like my 2 tips would have been perfect but nobody gave me that?? Smh So its been exactly 7 days from the refill and i contact them bc on 5th day in 1 eye i notice like 3 lashes facing another direction so its making a noticeable gap. I asked how this can be fixed and they said it just a 1 week refill which is $55. Wow really? To look at 1 eye with maybe replacing 3-4lashes? Theres no flexibility here. After spending around $200 with tip in 1 month and not satisfied...I wasted my time and money. So i cancelled my next appt which was made prior and i wont be coming back. I got a facial here, the facial was nothing to write home about and the girl who did it was very sweet. But her fingers smelled strong like garlic!! I just feel like as an esthetician you should have more consideration if your hands and fingers are going to be close to someone's nose. Arrived to my appointment on time but the lash technician was running behind, I did not get any updates while waiting. Appointment started 15 minutes after scheduled. Still not a problem. However, I do have a lot of lashes and so this backed my technician up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I was getting my lashes done I heard another customer complain about how her appointment was supposed to have started 10 minutes ago. She asked me to open my eyes immediately after putting on my final lash and asked if it burned...of course it did she had just applied. She then provided the fan. I got a lash lift and tint by Tien. I usually go to Sumi in Artesia, but my old lash lift tech who I saw 5 times moved so I can't see her anymore. Immediately I was nervous when my eyes started to burn because that never happened with my old lash tech, not even at the beginning and I read that it's not supposed to burn at all. She said the burning in the beginning is normal. She fixed it when I told her it was burning, but I dont think it should've burned at all. It made me really uncomfortable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When the lash lift was finished she caught me off guard and took a picture of me without asking. I asked what the picture was for and she said it isn't for social media. This will be the last time I get my lashes done here. I think the industry in general has been having issues, but today I left pretty disappointed with the quality of my lash extensions. I have gotten lashes here before and been happy but then they got rid of the 100% mink and instead replaced it with 3D volume which was a little too unnatural for me. So this time I was really looking for something more natural and chose a different material and they look horrible way less natural than the 3D volume material. They are heavy, stiff, very black and not to mention I still see my real lashes peeping out. They look like clusters from how stiff they are. Not to mention these were still $89 dollars. I came as a walk in for eyebrow waxing. Left feeling my eyebrow itch and when I looked in the car mirror noticed a lil flesh missing. (I was never offered to see a mirror while I was there). I had a lot of questions because I didn't fully know what would be best for my eyes, and she carefully explained everything I wanted to know, and I never felt rushed! One of the offering I greatly appreciate is being able to book appointments online then you are notified once they accept you booking. When you arrive to your appointment you fill out some e-docs and your technician goes over the lash options with you.
