Beautiful turkey sandwich on grain bread with avocado
    Natalie F.

Why is this place not packed to the brim? The Sub Shop is amazing. They have an amazing selection of breads - they aren't limited to subs. Plus, it's quick and it tastes so good. I recently got myself a turkey and avocado sandwich on multigrain bread with lettuce and tomato. The only thing keeping it from perfection were sprouts, but the lettuce gave it a nice crunch regardless. I can't wait to go back the next time I "forget" to make myself lunch. Quick. Easy. Family owned. Support local!!

This is a great little place you would never know is there unless you were actually searching for it. It's in the heart of a big industrial complex and has actually been there since 1980. They are very busy during lunchtime during the week, but their service is fast. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the food is made to order. We were looking for someplace to grab a quick lunch in an area with which we were unfamiliar, found it on Google, and were not disappointed.

Very good, super fast service! I went off the reviews and went for the Double Cheeseburger! I have to say the subs look amazing! Will for sure be back! Great little hidden gem!

The food is good, the service is decent, and the ambiance is lacking luster. In a pinch it's a go to.....

I ended up getting the cinnamon roll and the pecan sticky bun and they were both spectacular! The cinnamon roll was one of the best I've had and I didn't even heat it up. The portions are also pretty large as I shared my 2 items with 4 people and we still didn't finish them. Service was great. They were nice about letting us take as much time as we needed to browse and once we were ready, it was really quick service. After you get your pastries boxed up, you can order a drink at the register. I just like black coffee and got a plain Brazilian cold brew which tasted like any other place but was still good. There's seating inside and outside. It wasn't too busy when I went on a Saturday around 12p. There were definitely plenty of seats left indoors and outdoors.

If you're in the area, JL Patisserie is definitely a spot you don't want to miss!

Having spotted the 4.3 rating on Yelp, and the 4.1 score on Google, I figured this is a sandwich joint worth checking out! This San Francisco migrant was interesting to say the least. One of the amazing things they can brag about is the quantity of distinctive types and names sandwiches they offer. At my count 52 of them are shown on the menu board and with 5 bread styles. Second is the individual sandwiches presented and their names like Matt Cain; Da Vinci; Jim Rome; We're Just Friends; Adam Richman; Backstabber; Going Home For Thanksgiving; Handsome Owl; Time Travelers Wife; just to name a few. And, I might add that these handhelds were large and stuffed to the gills with the ingredients relating to each sandwich style creation. My Wife tried the Barry Bonds and I had the Damon Bruce. Satisfactory. Thirdly, they come in only one size! Big! Very big! Bloating I might say. Some folks simply don't have the capacity to indulge or consume such largesse! My selections were overall acceptable, though nothing unique to them. Albeit each being extravagantly loaded, apparently fresh ingredients and meats, but lacking distinctiveness. Again, not bad, not great, just average in my book. This sandwich shop exudes extravagance that seems to get lost in a shuffle of other local, well established Samicheries (Fire, Jersey, Cheba, Zookz). Lastly - My Wife and I are not fond of arrogance and disrespect from a counter person! And this is the first time we have been charged for water, ever. Not bottled water, a cup of water... $2.49! Our first and possibly last visit to Ike's has most definitively been a memorable one!
