Good sandwiches for an affordable price. This place is really close to the office I work at so when I'm not working remotely I like to get lunch close by. I get the mini italian on wheat with everything except for olives and mayo. For only $5 they put a lot of meat on the sandwich - they definitely don't skimp like some places. The people who run it are very nice, it looks like it's a family operation. It's typically pretty fast, if you come during a lunch rush you might have to wait a few minutes but nothing crazy. read more

Great sub spot! I was just looking for a cheap low key lunch and I was lucky to stumble upon this place. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff, saw a "Cheers" like atmosphere from the locals. I learned this place has been open for 44 years and it is obvious why they've been successful: *high quality, yet inexpensive food *clean, cozy environment *welcoming and fast customer service. Why is this place not packed to the brim? The Sub Shop is amazing. They have an amazing selection of breads - they aren't limited to subs. Plus, it's quick and it tastes so good. I recently got myself a turkey and avocado sandwich on multigrain bread with lettuce and tomato. The only thing keeping it from perfection were sprouts, but the lettuce gave it a nice crunch regardless. I can't wait to go back the next time I "forget" to make myself lunch. Quick. Easy. This is a great little place you would never know is there unless you were actually searching for it. It's in the heart of a big industrial complex and has actually been there since 1980. They are very busy during lunchtime during the week, but their service is fast. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the food is made to order. Absolutely love this place! It's less than a mile from the office I work at, so very convenient for me. I love that it's owned and operated by a family and their sons. Customer service is great, the owner always remembers my name which is a nice touch. The food quality is amazing and so fresh! I usually get the Arizona Delight. It has FRESH avocado not that gross avocado spread most sandwich shops use. Breakfast burritos are also delicious and their fries! My coworkers said their burgers are the best, so looking forward to trying one. 10/10 would recommend stopping by! read more

This is another one of those restaurants that can be sneaky to find but a consistent one when you do. Not far from other restaurants I have reviewed that are in close proximity to the he south end of Sky Harbor Airport, this sandwich spot is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. A family owned and operated restaurant that has daily specials, rotating soups and a good value overall makes this a regular stop. A good variety of hot and cold subs, salads and wraps fills out most of the menu in addition to the usual chips, candy and soda found at most lunch spots. no matter what day I go here for either breakfast or lunch. The customer service is always very good. The checkout process is easy and quick. The selection that you have for food and salads are great. I have never been disappointed with anything that I've ordered from the sandwich shop, I also enjoy the peach tea. I would highly recommend this place for your all your sandwich needs and your breakfast needs kudos to all involved in making this a great eatery. Thought it would be a hidden gem but He microwaved my cheeseburger lol... smh I love to support small owned but microwaving my cheeseburger a no no I'm from the south that's a complete no no but I should've noticed there wasn't a grill around so that's my fault for making that assumption but he was very nice though but more of a small convenient store that serve sandwiches and there is nothing wrong with that. Whenever I'm in the area which is not very often because I just come over to this part of town to do business I love stopping at this wonderful sub stop to get little lunch . I always stop by here when I'm working around the area. I've tried just about everything on their menu and have not been disappointed. Their salads are one of the best I ever had. Huge fan of ranch and their ranch taste homemade, none of that bottle stuff. I highly recommend if you are looking for a legit sandwich/sub spot. read more

this sub place is super close to my work office, which is the reason I decided to give it a shot. Got in the car and drove there, it took me longer to find it than the drive there. I walked in and immediately a strong old building smell stung my nostrils, I was starving so I didn't turn back. I ordered the Arizona Delight(whole) on white bread. I sat for about a minute and I was called for my order. I was disappointed from the first bite. It was sooo bland. Then the second bite... this bite included the turkey, bacon, avocado tomato, lettuce and "cheese". You would think no one can fuck up a sandwich that has these ingredients... well, this was the worse sub ever! I tossed it out as soon as I realized I paid over $6.40 for kraft singles yellow singles "cheese" I will not be coming back here again and I would not recommend. read more

For the location and the size, this shop is busy and for good reason. The subs are very good and you have a say in what goes on them. I was full after a whole sub and I didn't feel bad for it which is an added benefit. The price for my sub, drink, and chips was just over $9.00. Not a lot of seating but this shop is more for "grabbing and going". Would eat here again and if you happen to be here for work or a conference give it a go. read more

This place is amazing. Some coworkers and I were boycotting our crappy cafeteria food and decided to go out. We did a quick yelp search and decided to come here. It is really tucked away, but we were pleasantly surprised when we found it. It was busy but not packed. We each ordered a different sub and they were all delicious. The bread is awesome and the veggies were fresh. A whole is enormous, so next time we will get minis. After hearing about this place from a few coworkers, my friend and I decided to go grab some subs for lunch today. How did i survive so long on my crappy work cafeteria food when this was 2 mins away??? Its great, its a hidden little spot right off of 24th street with amazingly fresh food and speedy service. Not only that, but the cost is super cheap! The mini subs are in the 3 dollar range and are perfect for lunch. We will be back...many, many times. read more
