Came back after being away a bit and the classes are still really great. Instructors are kind and help adjust your form and give techniques if needed. They have cold towels at the end with lavender and it's mostly clean. There's usually other people's dog hair that I end up coming home with and the lockers are a bit filthy. Front desk staff is always nice and overall a great workout no matter what class you go to. read more

I absolutely love taking classes at The Studio BE!! I've taken the reformer, sculpt, and flow classes. Each class is taught by an instructor that has a carefully planned out workout and goes over each movement. I also like how the instructors allow you to modify certain moves during your workout, so that people of all skill levels can push themselves to their limit. The studio space is clean and big. The front desk staff is as great as the instructors, I always have a pleasant experience as soon as I walk in to when I am leaving. I highly recommend taking classes at The Studio BE! read more

I booked a private Pilates class with Meoka. This was my second time at the studio. It's a really pretty studio with a nice vibe. They have a nicely equipped studio with about 12 reformers. The restroom and changing rooms are nice and there is a small shower in case you need it. We used the weighted rings and the ball in our workout. They had towels and cleaner to spruce up after the workout. Meoka is an excellent instructor and I love her easy spirit. I felt the workout all through my arms and shoulders the next day. Parking was easy this time as we parked on the street in a free spot. read more

Suggestion for new aerial students. Please inquire about the experience of the instructor before attending. I attended 2 aerial classes. First class was great! The instructor clearly had experience and was tailored to the mixed level class. In the second class, the instructor had much less experience. She was providing me assistance, but I landed wrong on my foot. This landing fractured 2 bones in my foot. This occurred March 30, 2025. I am still recovering. She stated that she should have been paying more attention when giving me instruction. I understand that we all sign a waiver and participate at our own risk. This is why I am writing a review so that hopefully new aerial students will exercise more caution with instructors with less experience instructing mixed leveled classes. It could also be a great idea to have a low level class of students that have attended less than 5 classes and those that have attended more than 5 classes to assist in what should be included in the class. I gave 3 stars because I have attended yoga and kettle bell classes there that were absolutely amazing! I especially love the kettle bell class and hope to return whenever I can exercise without shoes again. read more

I came for my first ever Pilates class and it was reformer. I was running a bit late so they helped me get in and set up quickly. The machines were a bit close together but it was a full class so I understood. Our instructor was awesome! She gave detailed descriptions of poses, where you should feel the tension in your body, ways to make it easier or harder based on skill level and gave gentle corrections in form. People weren't cultish in the class and there were various body types and skill levels. It was a bit further from my house than I thought is the only thing that gives me pause to return. There is a lot outside with free parking for 1.5 hours but you do have to register and put a credit card in which is very annoying. read more

Studio Be is hands-down my favorite yoga studio. The community is incredibly warm and welcoming-- I've even made some friends here. I especially love the "Be Flow" class with Mel, Reim, or Anna. It's the perfect mix of movement and mindfulness, and is great for all levels of yogis. The room isn't heated, which I really appreciate, and it still feels like a space where you can challenge yourself without pressure. The Studio BE is one of the most thoughtful and intentional yoga spaces I've ever practiced in. Every detail - from the interior design to the cold lavender towels handed out after class - creates a calming, welcoming experience. I've never taken class with an instructor I didn't like. The variety of classes offered is a huge plus. I especially love the reformer, aerial yoga, flow, and yin options; it makes my workout routine feel balanced. If there's one area I'd love to see evolve, it's in the representation of more diverse bodies - both in their marketing materials and their merch sizing. Making changes in this area would help more people feel seen and supported, and would align beautifully with the inclusive energy the studio already cultivates. Instructors mentioning modifications for people with bellies made me feel included and supported. It could attract others who feel yoga is inaccessible to include larger folks in marketing. Yoga is good for you and it makes you feel good and it's good for the soul, the body and the mind, so if you want to get some peace and flexibility than this is a great place that has just opened up as part of the new Plaza right next to one of the most popular hipster bubble tea shops (Teapresso) and my beloved hipster cookie ice cream place (Smoosh) which finally has its own brick-and-mortar as they say. It's in the Heights so be aware that it is for hipsters and richer folks - so it's not cheap. If you get past that, it's actually a really great yoga studio and I've heard good reviews and we made inquiries ourselves just because Barbie has been considering everything to get in the shape she wants to be in, and she heard that yoga involves pointing her toes and she's pretty much the ultimate professional when it comes to that. read more

As someone who recently moved to Houston, people ask me if I like the city and what I like about it. I respond by telling them about this yoga studio- it's the absolute best. The scented candles you smell when you walk in, the sunlight coming in the beautiful glass windows, the welcoming smiles, the teachers who teach with knowledgeable grace, the high quality audio, the cooling lavender towels, the variety of classes and fun equipment, the clean well-maintained space, etc. I've never met a studio I loved this much. The classes leave me feeling inspired and peaceful while also energized and strong. I can't write a more enthusiastic recommendation for this wonderful place. I really enjoyed my first class at Studio BE! I visited through ClassPass and tried out the "Be Sculpted" class, which included a combination of yoga and floor Pilates moves. Towels and mats were provided, and weighted exercises included bars and bands. An optional upgrade is to rent ankle weights. I felt the class was fun and challenging. Absolutely love this place! I have social anxiety so I forced my fiancé and sister to come with me. Lexi at the front desk was so warm and welcoming. She showed us around and answered all of our questions. Our instructor, Rami lead the "Be Flow" class and it was amazing. I loved her vibe, personality, and how she lead the class. I took an online yoga class here and the experience was so wonderful that I've already booked my next one. I also must give this awesome yoga studio credit for having an amazing sound quality that resonated over virtual so clearly that I felt like I was in the room! I attended a Yin class with Mariah and it was exactly what I needed. I've attended virtual yoga classes all around the world at this point, and BEYOGA was the first studio to ever welcome me into their community by congratulating me on my first class in their public chat. Something so simple like that can be so impactful and it lets you know they care that you are there. I thought that was cool. Mariah is an OUTSTANDING instructor and maybe one of the best I have encountered on my virtual journey. I've learned that I am the type of yogi that responds on a soul level to the teachers that don't just tell you the poses, but do it with yogic principles, mantras, and other deep soul level context. I don't like when instructors just bark the pose names and don't inspire me. I need "more" spiritual context in Yin and Mariah provides that. In can be hard for me to relax, and I literally left this class feeling amazing. It was one of the best night sleeps I've had in a long time.
