Best exercise experience I've had in long time! And here's my experience... Where to find it: The sign is not up near the streets yet, but YES they are in that shopping center behind Carrabbas. It is next to ORANGE LUNCH BOX. What to wear: Yoga/Pilates clothes (tights and tank) & make sure you have a pair of SOCKS! What to bring: Yourself, socks, bottle of water, and a towel if you sweat easily. What to do when you walk in: If you are new, then you will fill out a form and choose your membership or you can just pay for a single class. I would recommend getting the new client special because you will want to take advantage of the price and you will definitely want to come back for more! After that, you will walk in with your socks on and place your things in the cubbies. You will then get all your equipment (ball, weights, band) and take a seat and stretch if you would like while you wait until class starts. What to do when class starts: Work your butt off and let everything BURRRRRNNNNN! It will be worth it so try your best to not fall out of it. I had Jocelyn Thomas as my instructor and she was wonderful. She knew that it was my first time so she gave me a pep talk prior to starting. She also helped me with my form and gave my advice. I definitely felt like the class was possible and it was a good burn. My legs were shaking, but I knew it was going to be worth it! Definitely challenge yourself and make it a goal to stay strong throughout the class. I am definitely a huge fan already after my first class. I am looking forward to this new challenge and the results of my body. Give it a try and take on that challenge!

Honestly the best workout of my life. I am no longer able to workout here because their hours don't comply with my schedule anymore. I get out of work at 6:30, and usually their last class is at 7pm, 5:30 on Fridays, 2PM on weekends and although they offer a class at 5:30AM I usually can take it because I have to be at work by 8, and they don't really have a "locker room" restroom. Add to that list that I'm getting married in September, so I'm currently taking a break. With that being said... I miss it so much! After only 3 consecutive workouts, the instructors and barre-tenders start recognizing you by name and they always make it a point to say bye to you on your way out as well. I took a break after my 100th class, roughly 4 months of attendance. No class was the same, and it seemed that every month the exercises were COMPLETELY different. All of the instructors were really great at pointing out how I could perfect my form and you don't even feel the hour go by! By the 100th class I was still sore & challenged, but my muscles were so much leaner, my waist smaller and my arms stronger. Although I am not going anymore, I made great friends whom I still keep in contact with. I even do some workouts on my own that I learned and my butt, arms, legs, and abs are still looking great! Biggest tip I can give to anyone is to come eager to learn and not be afraid to ask questions! When my schedule is less hectic, you will definitely see me at the barre!

I haven't been to any of the other classes here, because I love this one so much. When I'm not working, I try to make it on Saturday mornings; Mailyn and Ashley are my go-to instructors. I love this because I don't always break a sweat in these types of classes, but definitely do here. I really like the fusion between yoga, barre, and pilates, because it's not one-dimensional and gives you an excellent, enjoyable workout; I always feel accomplished, relaxed, and super sore afterward. Despite the unexpected location of the studio in what appears to be a commercial office building, it's cozy and spacious inside, with all of the equipment that you need. I've noticed some Groupon specials which I definitely would take advantage of if I were able to make it over after work more than once a week or so - though maybe in the future when my schedule opens up. I highly recommend this studio - can't say enough good things!!

It gives access to all classes unlimited except reformer. I LOVE their heated classes. I also like that they have so many options for classes though I do wish the classes were more true (no pun intended) to the real discipline like Barre and Pilates. Since the fusion is incorporating yoga into all of the classes there's a bit of redundancy. But all in all the facilities are always clean and functional. The front desk staff is usually pretty helpful and they have a variety of instructors with a variety of intensities. I love Hope and Morgan for Pilates as I find their classes challenging but doable. I do wish there were more specific form corrections especially in smaller classes or heavier lifts. I also agree that packing 60 people into a room where you can barely completely movements without bumping your neighbor is annoying but I've found most studios around houston are like that at peak times.

I was treated rudely and with disrespect. Several people came across as arrogant. Prior to taking any sessions, I carefully described all of my injuries. I'm a 40+ year old former athlete with arthritic joints. Even after explaining my injuries, the instructor, who is also part owner, pressured me into going harder on exercises than what was suitable for me. I ultimately injured my right shoulder, and couldn't life my arm. During class the instructor was very rude. I sought medical treatment with my chiropractor, and when my symptoms did not improve I had an MRI and eventually saw my orthopedic surgeon. I was in physical therapy for 5 weeks. I also called the studio after my injury to let them know what happened. Because I had pre-paid my sessions, I was unsure if I could easily get my money back, since they were giving me a vibe as if they do not give refunds for any reason. But I think in some cases, you should issue refunds for unused money, because not every studio is a good fit for every person. I felt like I was being looked down upon. There does not seem to be clear policies in place in the event something happens, such as an injury. I was treated horribly. They are not physical therapists and are not qualified to diagnose injuries. The liability waiver excludes them from all liability if you become injured. This means that if a customer does not want to do business with you, either because they do not feel as though you are competent enough to help their specific needs, or they simply do not want to risk further injury they need to be able to end the business relationship. It is a customer's decision if they want to continue doing business with them, even if they pre-paid, especially if something bad happens. They eventually refunded me money, but I had to go back and forth for over a week, which was stressful. I think that they thought I was being dishonest. This was insulting. I've found a new studio. I'll never be back.

The center isn't very busy so there is always plenty of parking. It does get a little crowded when there's a spin class going on at Revolution a few doors down. The first 3 classes are free which is wonderful because that is just the right amount of time for you to get a feel of the studio. Even though there are specific class times on the schedule, you aren't actually all working out at the same time. At first I wasn't sure if it's something I like since most of the time you start and end at the same times as others as a group. But after a few classes, I actually prefer it this way. A run through of how the session at DU Pilates work. 1. Come in and Dominic will likely direct you to a reformer of his choice. 2. He will talk with you over any concerns that you have for the day. My knee was actually bothering me last time so he scaled the workout to not put pressure on my knee. 3. He'll instruct you through the moves. If you are brand new to Pilates, he will spend more time with you. If you are more seasoned, he work with someone else while keeping an eye on your form. He will correct from across the room. 4. Once you are done, you are done since it's not timed with a class setting. There are sometimes 3-4 other people in the studio when I am there and everyone is working out at different pace and different levels. I actually like it because you go at your own pace and ability. A more advanced person wouldn't have to do the same as a less advanced and vice versa. My first two sessions, I was doing a lighter workout and by my 3rd he added more moves. I have done Pilates in the past so I feel like he is advancing me quicker. As first I was concern with the multiple different people but Dominic is very good at multitasking and helping each client. Now that I am done with my first 3 I plan to purchase a package. I can already feel the benefits of Pilates again.
