Legit…read more It's a pretty elite Gym which only serves people that work in the area, and it's kinda fancy but also kind of expensive which I suppose makes sense, because if the earnings of the people that work around here are anything to go by, then this is expected to cost a lot. But it does seem a bit elitist, and also I think the fact that it opens at 5:30 can be a bit of a problem, because if you work here at Memorial City and you start at 8, that might be okay as long as you only want a quick workout, but if you work somewhere else in Houston and you start even as late as 9 then good luck getting done with a 2-hour workout and getting to work in time.

Living in the energy corridor I had a lot of different options but I did not want a cookie cutter gym, I wanted somewhere that I could belong, somewhere that I felt the staff would get to know me and not judge me if- and when- I did something wrong. Plus I wanted classes- I LOVE group exercise classes cause I have no idea what to do on my own. So I took my then boyfriend and we went to MAC. We really found it to be a welcoming place. It is not the cheapest around but one thing I have learned is that I would always rather have quality in the things that affect my overall well being. I have made friends at this gym, I have been through Harvey and road construction with this gym and I always felt valued as a member. I've been kept in the loop- they do a fantastic job of hosting different types of events and keeping their social media up to date. And now through what is proving to be one of the most interesting events to happen they continue to show their dedication to members by offering youtube classes and free virtual classes. Every day they are posting and making sure there is something to do and a way to get a workout in even at home. This is far more than a gym but truly also a community and a family.

I was good with that for such a basic gym and sometimes overcrowded especially in summer when they allow kids to use it for free However this time in July when my contract expired I tried to renew it and I was told this no longer is available and plus they are increasing the rates to $15 a month. Talk about being loyal to their customers. Oh well their loss. EOS and Crunch fitness are both offering 9.99 monthly fees with no annual fees. PF don't let success get to your head. The food they offered wasn't the greatest for how much they charge but I didn't pay for anything so maybe it was just the food that they provided that was mediocre. We did ask the staff to cook the pizza some more as it was kind of undercooked and doughy and the staff was extremely nice and didn't have a problem helping us out. I spoke to one of the members while I was relaxing in the patio area and he was telling me about all of the events for members that are free with the membership. Really cool place.

Owner Hanh gave us a personal tour and introduction of the business and how Jennifer Aniston became the spokesperson for it when her back was injured and she secretly did Pvolve to get back her core into shape. The studio and items are cleaned between participants and they have 30 max in a class . This location is easy to get to on 2nd floor next to Randalls and plenty of parking in front.
