New yoga place! Tucked in the back of MKT facing the bike trail. The class I did was a nice restorative flow. It was exactly what I needed. It had some vinyasas in it, but also some stretching poses. The instructor was super sweet. I would definitely come back and try another class.

Lovely location, serene, clean studio and fabulous community. Really enjoyed Kim's vinyasa class and wisdom. Breathing and smiling with greater ease now. So glad to have stumbled on this gem as we emerge from this dreadful pandemic.

The on-demand class is not worth it. The yoga instructor was always in the back of the room.

At one point you do hear the crashing sounds of a gong or horn (sorry first time and don't know the terminology) that were a little too loud that is what startled me and I was not able to go back into the concentration. Only downfall was they forgot to give me my blanket to cover up with so I was freezing the entire time. It's not a place you can raise your hand or yell out. I arrived at 1pm and there were several other folks there for the event. After signing in at the desk, the staff walked me over to the locker and showed me where to keep my things. After everyone arrived, one of the ladies gave us an intro to meditation and then we watched a 7 min video about the science behind mindfulness and meditation. The video needs to be updated as there was a lack of diversity (e.g, age, race, etc.) and that turned me off slightly. After the video, we were walked into the room, asked to grab a blanket and got into the hammock for the 45 minute sound bath and meditation. I serve on a board for an organization that's focused on mindfulness but this was my first time participating in a full on practice. It was very calming and allowed me to really get centered. The time went by fast and our instructor set the right pace. They offer a free session for first timers so I will be taking advantage of that. The studio is very clean, and they offered tea and other refreshments. But most importantly, there's plenty of parking.

I drove nearly an hour from Katy and paid $40 to attend a class with Wayne. The class started late, and approximately 15 minutes into it, Wayne STOPPED THE ENTIRE CLASS to chastise me in front of everyone because I was modifying some of the movements to protect my back and listening to my own body. I was not disrupting the class. I was not interfering with anyone else's practice. I was practicing variations of the movements being taught. Instead of simply allowing me to modify, offering an alternative, or speaking to me privately, Wayne became visibly angry, removed my personal belongings from the room, and told me to leave in front of the entire class. I was stunned. Yoga is not Simon Says. A teacher is there to guide a practice, not demand that every body in the room move identically regardless of what feels safe or appropriate for that individual. "Listen to your body" and "eyes on your own mat" are principles I have encountered throughout decades of practicing and teaching yoga. I have never experienced an instructor react with this level of hostility because a student chose to modify. What makes the situation even more troubling is that Wayne is apparently the owner, so when I attempted to contact the studio afterward to address what happened, the studio number routed directly back to him. I drove an hour. I paid $40. The class started late. And approximately 15 minutes into the class, I was publicly chastised, had my belongings removed from the room, and was told to leave. In 20 years of yoga, I have never been treated this way in a studio.

Our class took place on a Sunday evening and it was the perfect way to unwind before the busy week ahead! I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and calm - three feelings that I hadn't experienced much beforehand as it's been a stressful couple of months for me. When you first get there, you'll likely stand outside the front door (located on the second floor inside the building) as the instructor will open it just before class starts. IMPORTANT: they ask you to leave your shoes outside the front door, so if you're not comfortable with that, don't book a session! I'll definitely be returning as I really enjoyed this experience!

On her website it does mention that doors will close after 5 mins. My sister and I got there right at 5:55pm as the class was starting at 6pm. We mention d that we have a couple others who are stuck behind an accident but will will be here by 6:10. She stated that there were 7 people missing and that she would wait until 6:10 to close the doors. Okay, thank you being things can happen. She literally waited for one person to come and then closed the doors. My friends literally came at 6:10 and being that two others were 2 mins behind they decided to not come in and just leave that way others aren't sitting out. That's fine. She gave them their money back. Again, thank you. However, the customer service is not there. The experience is good, I would do it again, just, not there. Going through her Google reviews, it makes sense. The meditation portion was great, but she isn't the friendliest. Upon arriving, she states to put your shoes on a shoe rack in the hallway. My sister wore some Jordans. There is NO way she was going to leave them in the hallway to end the experience and they not be there when done. So she put them in the cubby inside the room. When we were done, there is a place in the lobby with stools and couches you can sit on. We tried to sit down to put on our shoes, she stood right in front of the carpet, extended her arms from east to west and said, "no, no, I don't allow shoes in this area..." that's fine, but to shoo us into the hallways... that could have been handled differently. Needless to say, I would love to try it again, just not here. As the customer service isn't top tier. The experience is.

Instructor, Olga, was great and we focused on deep stretches that left me feeling renewed, which was especially helpful as I did HIIT exercises five days this week. There were a few things that I did not like which is why I'm skeptical of returning. First, there was absolutely no music. Every other yoga studio I've been to has, at minimum, played some sort of meditation or relaxing music. I'm someone who needs some kind of noise at all time, so I did not like the silent atmosphere. Additionally, the windows were kept open for the majority of the class, so the outside noise was coming through and was very distracting at times. The studio itself was very nice and well kept, but I noticed there weren't any mirrors in the room where the yoga class was held. I, personally, like to see myself in a mirror to ensure that I'm doing the poses correctly, so I found the lack of mirrors to be annoying. Otherwise, it was a great experience! The receptionist in the front was very kind and helpful. While I probably won't do another yoga class here, I am interested in trying out their Pilates classes!
