Food 10/10 Service 20/10! We had such a great experience at The Stand in Tustin! The food was delicious, but the service was truly exceptional. Weston was so intentional and attentive. My husband and I wanted to share our plates, and without us even asking, he made sure everything was taken care of for us. It's the little details that make a dining experience special. The Stand will definitely be one of our favorite places to eat. Absolutely a must-try! read more

Fries okay, onion rings dry and too long in the fryer. Shoutout to Ally (Allie?) - awesome staff at this location. Will try other options and update. read more

What a great variety of menu they offer! They have so many different items on their menu that can cater to your cravings. I ordered their Ahi Tuna Salad and it was so delicious. The tuna, the salad, and all the toppings were so fresh and flavorful! It was so flavorful that I rarely had to use the dressing. The dressing was also really good touch to it. Love the onion strings in it too. We ordered it for to-go and even with that, it was perfect. Highly recommend and def will go back to try their burgers and fries in person. read more

A fun spot for burgers with multiple locations in Irvine. We went to this one for a fundraiser and they were donating 25% of the profits to the organization. There is plenty of parking in the plaza. The indoor seating is made up of mostly large tables. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The staff is very friendly and they keep the line moving quickly. It looks like after you're done dining, the staff will clean up the tables. There was a point where all the trash cans were full and a lot of the tables still had used trays and trash that had been sitting for a while. Even so, there were still plenty of clean tables that were open. My favorite item to order is actually the short rib grilled cheese. It's packed with meat and the outside of the bread has toasted cheese on it. The burgers are a decent size and they have lots of options for sides and drinks. It's a good place to go if you're looking for a classic American meal. read more

Ordered through a third party office catering app, and the food came nicely packed with the salad dressing on the side. The chicken chopped salad does not skimp on the chicken pieces, it was loaded with so much protein and veggies. The ginger dressing complemented all the veggies and textures so well, loved the fried wonton chips too. This is my new go to order at the Stand when I'm wanting something lighter! read more

Finally tried this spot and, short story, the burger was tasty. Fast casuak? Not fast food, but not that much more than what some fast food spots are now charging, plus they have beer. Fries were OK, but they let you customize your burger and, frankly, it is probably my favorite non-smash burger out there. read more

Besides the food being reliable and delicious the times I've been there, the manager and team provide great service. I really appreciated the manager going out of her way to explaining things to me and making sure my order was right. She is super kind and warm, and that's rare to find at any big establishment. The team also makes an effort to ask about your day and if you need anything else. All in all, wonderful service and I can always rely on the food. Super thanks! read more

Got the tex-mex steak bowl from this location. The meat was very tasty but it wasn't soft so little bit chewy. Other than that everything else in the bowl was great, portion was really good. We ordered take out and it come really quick so the service is fast. The restaurant itself looks really nice too. read more

Came here for the first time with a friend to catch up. I have heard of The Stand, but never been until now. Unfortunately, it seems that the date and time I came in was bad timing. I came on a Wednesday around 6pm, and was really surprised to see how large and spacious the restaurant is. You order at the front counter, and they give you a number to bring to your table. The girl working the counter was super sweet and friendly! We got to sample a few beers, and ultimately I ended up going with the cherry limeade seltzer and it was amazing. I ordered the piri piri chicken, with half rice and half lettuce. It wasn't until after I paid, and started walking towards a table that another staff notified me that they were out of rice, and I could sub it for more greens. I was a little bummed to find out after the fact, without an option to change my order. The piri piri chicken itself was delicious, and the sauce it came was paired perfectly! I would've loved to have had it as a rice bowl, but it was probably just bad timing. read more

I've dined in and have ordered a couple times through door dash. The Stand never has disappointed me! I love their salads, burgers and hot dogs. I ordered delivery through the Stand website which made it very easy. They use the Door Dash platform. Today we ordered a chili hot dog, and mushroom burger and an egg bacon burger. The burgers were great! We were able to order it with a medium cook which is great. I can't do well done burgers! Our burgers were delicious and well prepared. I have had the French onion soup burger and the burger with the crispy onion strings in the last and they're both excellent as well. We ordered a chili dog with banana peppers and red onions but there wasn't much chili on the hot dog so I was a little disappointed! The hot dog bun had cooked so it wasn't as good as eating it in the restaurant. I have gone into the restaurant a few times. It's always clean and the service is solid. You order and pay first at the counter and they will give you a number for your table. They bring the food to the table so I'd suggest tipping appropriately when you order and pay since they do serve you the food. One of my favorite burger places for sure! Highly recommend. read more

Love the Tex Mex bowl! Extremely sweet server named Tu. She checked on us a couple of times and made our experience amazing! Great job Tu!

4 of us came in at 5:30 for dinner. It took longer than usual to get to the order (20 minutes) stand. There was only one woman taking orders. We sat down at a table and the couple who ordered after us got their meals in a timely manner. We sat for another 10 minutes and still didn't get our food. I went up to the counter to see what was going on and they said they were working on it. A few minutes later a young woman brought us our food but my wife's order was incorrect so we sent it back. 10 minutes later they returned with the correct order. The food was delicious but by the time we left the line was almost to the entry door and there were at least 6 tables that had dirty dishes left on them. We felt bad for the workers who were working their buns off to get the orders out. Management needs to step up and help their employees by adding more staff. read more

An American dining with fusion touch in their dishes. Delicious and variety dishes that I can come back multiple times to try different food. Love the spacious and sporty vibe here. I had: 1. First time here. Great burgers! Sweet potato fries are delicious! Tu was so helpful and super cheerful. Definitely coming back.

We eat at the Stand often, and the food never disappoints. The staff are always friendly, and Tu is the most cheerful, upbeat spirit. She brightens everyone's day and truly shares great recommendations. Tonight I had the salmon miso sandwich and it was amazing. All the burgers we've tried are the best. Thanks, Tu - for being awesome! Keep shining! read more

The food is good. Unfortunately while they say they bus the tables, that doesn't appear to include wiping them down. Combined with the demon spawn who haven't been taught about inside voices and their keepers who don't care and let them do whatever they want, it's so noisy It makes me not want to go there. read more

The burger was decent. Smaller than expected, but tasted good. The service was good. If I were in the area I would eat here again. read more

5 stars for the service 4 stars for tuna albacore melt My day is slightly whatever, but the warm service and non-robotic personality from the employees here are the cherry on top. Food tends to be good to amazing, depends what you get and who makes it. ============== I asked for some gloves because my finger has a bandaid - the guy with glasses asked me what size I need, if I wanted to try them on, and even shared with me how he eats wings with gloves lol The cashier was very pleasant, so yes you'll get that tip. Even the bussers and servers seemed happy to help. Lots of variety here for everyone, adults and kids alike. Salads, burgers, some wraps, lots of appetizers, a couple of desserts. You can choose from different types of cheeses and different protein selections (turkey, chicken, beef) The menu shows how much protein certain dishes have which is always helpful. Veggie burger is def one of my fav items here (5 stars) Even if something isn't amazing here, most items will be tasty (and not bland). I'll have to utilize the app more! read more

The stand is a family favorite for us. Every one in the family enjoys it. The food is good. The service is great. Highly recommend the converse chicken salad!! Orders to go dinner for my bf and I ~ that was such an awesome experience! The employee who greeted me at the register was super helpful, she was friendly and suggested some awesome sauces to try! It's my first time coming here so I was happy the service was already good. I've only gotten to try the fries and I like how it's thick but still crispy! Honestly can't wait to try our burger and sandwiches - will update how that goes but don't feel it's fair to post a review if I'm eating it hours after haha read more

Extremely fresh and great quality hamburgers. They ask how you like the meat cooked, which was a thoughtful gesture. The flavor of the burgers paired with the sauce was excellent. The chili fries were also delicious and came out pipping hot! The sweet potato fries came out cold so it wasn't our favorite Would definitely return for their burgers and chili fries! read more

Weston is a great staff! Friendly environment! My kids love this place! Great food! Great service!

My family came to eat at the stand. We have been here before. We really enjoy the burgers and salads. However Tu and Weston gave us exceptional service. Our family loves eating at the Stand - their burgers are the best. The atmosphere is great, and the service always backs it up. I've been going to The Stand in a different location for awhile now, and I would like to leave this review because I've received awesome service from Weston (thank you for being so accommodating!). Burgers here are excellent (even the basic $9 stand burger is delicious), beef patty cooked to your preference. I love how they have different milk shake flavors by the seasons (this time they have a strawberry shake - please bring back the Thai tea milkshake!). They have inside seating and outside seating and bathrooms are nice and clean. Went on a weekday during lunch and ambiance was pretty calm but cheery. If you go on the weekend, it can be very busy. read more

The stand is a great semi-fast food place. You order at the counter like a fast food burger place but the seating and dining room are nicer. The burgers were all really good. They even had a little bit of BBQ smokiness which was really good The service was good and the dining room was really clean and pleasant. The large screen tvs made it feel a little more like a bar and grill than a fast food burger place. read more

Absolute Perfection After a Chaotic Day! My family and I stopped by The Stand in Irvine after an incredibly busy, exhausting day, and it was exactly what we needed to turn our evening around. We ordered the Chimichurri Steak Salad, Short Rib Grilled Cheese, and kids meals both completely hit the spot. The steak in the salad was perfectly cooked, tender, and the chimichurri dressing gave it this amazing, vibrant, fresh kick. On the flip side of the comfort-food spectrum, the Short Rib Grilled Cheese was pure heaven--rich, savory, perfectly melted, and loaded with flavor. Beyond the food, the service was fantastic. The staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly quick. We didn't have to wait long at all, which is a massive blessing when you're already drained from a long day. Great food, fast and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back the next time we need a foolproof, delicious pick-me-up! read more

Super frustrated with trying to order food. You go to their app app keeps freezing up. It keeps switching back-and-forth. It didn't work. I tried to go online same thing. It was my first time trying The Stand and it was delicious! I got the classic Stand Burger and the burger was grilled perfectly, and the sauce and veggies paired well together. The only surprising thing was the size of the sides. I ordered their large fries and large onion rings for the table to share, but it was smaller than I would have expected. I loved the onion rings but the fries were nothing special. It is also located in a plaza with plenty of parking and lots of both indoor and outdoor seating! read more

We stopped on a whim to have lunch at The Stand in Tustin today. We were pleasantly surprised! It was great. My husband ordered a hamburger, and I ordered a grilled chicken burger along with onion rings. My husband ordered it while I had our new puppy comfortably seated outdoors, but he forgot to include an iced tea. When it was time to be served (you order inside, and they will bring it to your table), there was no drink, but our server, Weston, went in and grabbed me an iced tea, and we were set. What a great place for local eats and great service. We will definitely go back again. The tables were all clean and ready for the next, and I do appreciate the cleanliness. Thank you, Weston, for serving us with smiles and a helpful hand - it is hard to find that these days! One special thing to note, at least for me, with dog-friendly places is that, since I had my dog and couldn't go in to order, there was a huge menu at the door that was easily seen from the outside. I found that very, very helpful! This is a definite go-back casual place. read more
